Most nobles are worried about security after independence. After all, Hungary is merged into Austria. In addition to the marriage of the Habsburg family, there is the need for Austrian protection.

But this does not mean that Hungary has the power to get rid of Austria ’s independence, and many people are still skeptical of the armed revolution.

This involves the national conditions of the Kingdom of Hungary. There are more than 13 million people in the country, of which there are more than half a million nobles. It can be said that nobles are flying in the sky.

The Hungarian capitalist has another important identity-the nobility, so the relationship between the Hungarian capitalist and the nobility is very complicated. Less than 2% of the population accounts for more than 95% of the wealth in society.

The Hungarian nation during this period actually refers to the more than half a million nobles and capitalists who have many privileges and are the real exploiting class in this country.

To a certain extent, Austria is not a true authoritarian empire, but a coalition of large nobles. The central government ’s control of the locality is realized by the nobles ’will.

The Hungarian nationalist movement that is erupting now is actually the main force of small and medium-sized nobles and capitalists. They combine the concept of the country with their own interests and put a layer of nationalism aura when they are competing for interests.

This is also the reason why the Hungarian government headed by Kosut shouted for reforms while refusing to implement the Vienna government reform bill.

Even if everyone agreed to abolish serfdom, it was not implemented in Hungary, and the nobles concealed the Vienna government's abolition act.

Well, this responsibility cannot be counted on Kosut. After all, his leader, like the Cannon Party, is just a product of everyone ’s compromise, not the superiority of strength.

This can be seen from the elections in Hungary on April 12, 1848. Although it is declared that the general elections will be opened, in fact, this time the presidential elections in Hungary still only stay in Budapest.

Budapest has only 16,200 people with voting rights. If it is understood by the "Hungarian nation" at that time, it can be regarded as the realization of the city's universal suffrage.

The final result was that a total of 5,176 votes were received. Kosut was elected with a high vote of 1,639. Of course, the result announced to the outside world is definitely not this number.

Judging from these figures, Franz's butterfly effect still plays a role, and more people choose to stand by and watch than in history.

As a compromised president, there are too many people in the Kingdom of Hungary who do not buy his account. Even in the minds of many people, this Republic of Hungary is a joke, as everyone knows from the indifference to the election.

Kosut ’s anger is not without reason. The Republic of Hungary was established, but Ferdinand I still served as the Kingdom of Hungary.

Without a king, there would be no nobility. For their own benefit, the Hungarian nobility insisted against the abolition of the king. Kosut was forced to compromise due to the situation. Now there is a king under his president, who is greatly reduced in rights.
