How to Escape from an Implacable Man

10. What do you know when you see it?

I realize that the awakening, wrapped in muddy and soft things, was as comfortable as heaven's, but unfortunately it was something whose comfort at the same time was built on outrageous shame when I opened my eyes.

Nothing. I just realized once again that I was asleep trying to push my forehead against Master Crest's chest plate. No, there's nothing about it, there's no way I can say it. Sounds like the thought circuit is a little strange right after I wake up.

Every time I wake up like this, all I think about is, "Let's just sleep with Master Crest this time". Yet, around repeatedly, is there a problem with my ability to learn, or is Master Crest the strategist to bring to these positions?

When I looked up as I reflected several times, I noticed Jade looking down at me like that. I will never get used to the gaze of observing and not missing everything about me. There's blood on my cheeks, too.

"... too shy"

"Marizia?"

I didn't mean to speak out, but the sound leaked on me. Perhaps you couldn't hear me. To Master Crest's voice, I pretend like there was nothing.

"... Good morning, sir"

"Oh, it's a good morning."

"Right."

Apparently, it's a "good morning" for Master Crest. It was also a good morning for me to have my body temperature split and sleep muddy. At least until I wake up.

"I'm planning on engraving the sorcery formation into the baked parts today, but what will Master Crest do?

"Well, that's why I'll give you a tour."

For a moment, I wondered if my ears had gone crazy.

What, a tour? Master Crest?

Will I be able to take a tour with a lot of people? Sometimes I look at me with great eyes when I'm not saying that Master Crest doesn't have any composure, but I'm obsessed with the study of magic. I wonder what that is, not jealousy. That's basically why I try to devote Master Crest's time from his attendance at the Knights to his studies of witchcraft until he returns.

"Uh, I don't think it's funny to watch, do you?

"I think so."

"What is it, you know, a walk nearby..."

"No, it's more meaningful to look at you"

Out of the question.

No, you should have fully understood the obsession that could be directed at me. Still, I had no choice but to put an end to the weight of that line.

It takes a form that I ignore because I concentrate, but somehow I managed to return the word, and I got out of Master Crest's arm in a giddy move.

Something's wrong.

Master Crest since he came yesterday, I still feel something strange. Immediately - I just wasn't sure what to do with this unexpected streak just because I was ready to be taken back to the mansion with my arms pulled and strength.

"... it's time to think."

I washed my face with fresh water flowing behind the mountain hut and I was so determined. In the meantime, think about something completely different. Yeah, you think I'll introduce Rex to Master Crest again, for example?

When I meditated "Megumo" for just one breath, I moved "Chris" who was in town. Rex is already awake first, and I can't see him. Probably in the field as usual. He said he wanted to expand the back field a little bit.

I woke up and stood in the kitchen, and I opened and closed the cupboard, peering into a half-blooded reservoir. Yeah, enough stock. Mr. Gain's wife gave me venison around the corner, so I'll use it.

I muttered to no one, "Okay," when I put my water work gloves on 'Chris' arm.

◇ ◆ ◇

In the morning, it took a little while until I could concentrate.

I'm in the workshop, Mr. Miltil, and Master Crest. Mr. Holt went down to town carrying the goods. I originally planned to go to the town grocery store today to wholesale "oh," but the reason I left earlier than usual is, yeah, I don't even have to think about it. I'm sorry, Mr. Holt. Even though he let me use the kiln, I even gave him extra hard work. Finally, I gave him a nuisance fee for even something delicious with Glina, the daughter of the bakery next door to the grocery store. Of course, via Mr. Miltil. Since Master Crest arrived, he has consciously tried not to talk to Mr. Holt.

Because blood rain and other scary things......!

In the workshop, Mr. Miltil is painting on a barbecued vessel, and I'm working on carving a sorcery formation behind the baked 'Chris' parts.

Oh, Master Crest?

I've been looking at this one with one hand what looks like a book. I don't think it's my fault I feel like I'm opening the same page all the time.

Even though I need concentration because I keep 'Chris' in motion, I'm very unsettled to be seen carving the formation.

Still, I wonder if I got used to it at some point, when I was immersed in the work, when I finished carving out a third of the magic team I had planned in the morning, when Mr. Miltil called me to say that Mr. Crest had prepared lunch for me.

"Ah, Marie."

It was Rex who was helping me with meal support on my behalf. When I made the plug in the morning, I told Rex to come to the cabin. Instead, 'Chris' has a store number, so he's been watching out for you. That said, it's not like the customers are coming to the hiatus, so they're carrying chairs to the counter and letting them sit there. You have to watch out for sight and sound, but it's not that hard because it doesn't make fine moves.

I asked Rex to come because I wanted him to say hello again to Master Crest. Finally, I also wanted to hear honest thoughts on the dishes I made, so I let them hold the plug in as well.

"I'm sorry, Rex. I didn't realize you were too focused."

"Really - Marie's concentration is amazing. I guess I'll have to be an apprentice, too."

"Even Rex, it wasn't too early to learn the form and efficacy of herbs. We're going to do it."

"I'm used to seeing plants, so I'm just going to be careful even though they're similar. The conditioning, hahaha - thank you in the long run -"

I gently stroked Rex's head, laughing callously, turning to Master Crest staring at this one.

"I'll introduce you again. This kid's gonna take over the pharmacy, Lex. Uh, Alexia."

"You're Marie's good-looking crest, aren't you? Best regards -"

The confronting Crest had his hands on his mouth for some reason, to Rex, who held his head down vigorously.

"Master Crest?

"Oh, oh, I hear you're motivated and remember things well. Encourage at this rate."

I don't know, isn't that a word for my men? It's weird talking about treating Rex like a lady, but it's kind of weird how Master Crest reacts.

Nothing. You never discriminated against people by age or sex, did you? Depending on the other side's response to sending Autumn Waves to Master Crest or to provoke hostility towards me, I would blow a hell of a blizzard.

"Mr. Marie? Let's have lunch. I'm so hungry."

"Yeah, right."

The dining table has a slightly more luxurious menu than usual. Root vegetable main soup is Mirtil's specialty dish, where the mountain vegetables that Holt picked for me first thing in the morning are lined up on their own, pickles that 'Chris' made Rex hold there and... roasted venison.

It was roasted with this venison, slightly crusty venison covered with herbs and some spices, and was a favorite of Rex and Ike. Ike likes meat because he's a boy, and I'm convinced by his age, but he likes Rex, too. I still like meat when I work hard, so I don't know what you're saying, but if you ask Ike, do you really like beast meat purely? Sometimes in the village where they lived, I guess they only caught the meat or so.

Rex has been repeatedly told only to call it a handicraft. Because I can't help it. I would like to hear Lord Crest's pure thoughts. Because if he finds out I made it, he's gonna flatter it again in vain.

"I'll have it."

Rex sits down instead of Mr. Holt, and the table fills.

I pound my tongue on Mr. Miltil's soup and softly steal a look at the neighbor, Master Crest, answering questions about the conditioning from Rex. He stared at the pickle he brought with him and included it in his tease mouth. I'd like to ask if I needed to stare at the pickle. But I don't want to say anything far-fetched.

The meal proceeded as I chose a topic that I didn't touch, and when the dish was with a third left, I spoke the truth.

"I knew Mr. Miltil's soup was delicious. How was Master Crest? I think it's a very different dish to eat at the mansion -"

"Right. But sometimes I travel to various towns for work. I'm not unfamiliar with these dishes."

"Really? Then you're eating the land's specialty dishes, right? Let me talk to you next time."

"... ah. Nevertheless, this pickled vinegar and venison was delicious"

Shiatsu, and my movements stopped. Rex, sitting diagonally forward, also looked at this one with his eyes round.

"Oh, what is it? Good for you, Rex. Thanks to you for climbing the mountain path with a heavy bottle."

"Yeah, that's right, Marie."

No way, are you finding out?

Even though it was' Chris' who actually made it, in a broad sense, I was pinpointedly praised for what I made. From that upset, it's hard to even think that Rex accidentally slipped his mouth.

You can assume you thought it was purely delicious, right?

"Marie?"

"Ha, ha."

"It's leaning and the soup is spilling."

"Oh, yes, yes, hey"

No, I almost ruined Mr. Miltil's soup. I softly place a bowl in one hand.

I wonder why. Wow, I'm scared.

What if it's really a statement about perceiving that I've got it? But look at the food I could do,... how much? But when it comes to Master Crest, there's a history of reacting to 'Chris' that doesn't even look like me...

"Marizia?"

"Yes."

"You're not eating anymore?

"Oh, no, I'll eat"

I had no soup and drank. Delicious. Because it contains ginger, or your body warms up pompous.

"Marie. What did you do this afternoon?

"Oh, I'm continuing to draw formations in the corner of the workshop"

"I'm going to bake in the evening, but do you have anything extra to put in the kiln?

"Hmm, nothing in particular...... Oh, yeah! I had a favor to ask of Mr. Miltil."

Yes, it was. When I heard how Master Crest was supposed to come here, I had an idea.

"Can you make me a baked dish that's going to pair? I'll pay for it."

"Nothing, but a pair?

"Looks like you and your wife are close, so I was wondering if it would be nice to have a matching cup or bowl just for the two of us"

"Huh, doesn't that sound interesting? If that's what you mean, I'll make it."

"Thank you!

Yeah, I can thank Mr. Lauschning for advising me on this.

"Marie?"

"Yes."

"Who are you going to give it to?

"Uh, to Mr. Lauschning. You took care of him, didn't you?

……

Was that some bad suggestion?

To Master Crest, who for some reason became silent, I tilted my neck and waited for words to continue, but unfortunately my mouth was not opened.

◇ ◆ ◇

My hands stop.

I want to finish carving out the sorcery formation quickly, but I can't concentrate on it at hand.

"You're alone today, aren't you? I don't think they're here either."

Richter, a rented stable who forgot to exist, is talking to Chris, who's been in the store for a while now. Regardless if you simply pay attention to sight and sound, in public you have to concentrate your consciousness on facial expressions and tricks, so nature and your own hands are neglected. This is not a situation where you can do a magic team drawing of a single battle.

"I'm sorry. I don't know when the customers will be here, and Rex will be back soon, so..."

"That would be convenient. I'll leave it to my apprentice to eat something delicious."

Richter is the so-called prodigal son, but he used to come a little bit in solidarity with 'Chris'. My scary brother = 'Nicole' was out there to get rid of me then, but unfortunately, there is no such thing now.

"Um, really, I'm in trouble..."

Thinking about how I refused, Master Crest stood in front of me and pulled himself away for a moment.

"What's up?

"Uh, I'm having a little trouble with Chris."

"What?

"... Well, there's a soft guy who's been calling me before, but he's pushing me again."

That made Master Crest more grumpy. Whatever you say, I wonder if you care about 'Chris'.

"Which one?"

"I'm the owner of a rented stable."

"He did? He seemed like a very serious person."

"That must be the servant. My husband is a prodigal son, but since it's a store my parents gave me, there are people who manage it properly."

"... that's hard"

"Uh, it's about time Rex got back. I think it's okay."

"Really? … I'll deal with it later."

Something was a grunt I wanted to decide I couldn't hear in the second half. I don't know how to handle it, but if you think about it, you lose.

"Hey, Marie. Look, let's go, huh?

"I refuse"

Oh, Lex, I wonder if you'll be back soon.

I sighed not to be enlightened by Master Crest.
