How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 2 - Not very much (3) >

For dinner, I had to move to another building.

Thus, Calian finished preparing early and climbed onto one of the two wagons that had been stationed in front of Chermill Palace. The remaining one is, of course, for the prince who has not yet departed from Randall or Plants. So one of them must have already started.

'It was so wide that I wanted to know how to go to another building. I didn't expect to find a moving wagon in the palace.'

Callian shakes his head, reminding him that Hartsara built such a ridiculous palace because she said she couldn't live in a narrow place.

The wagon passed through a long corridor surrounding the Chermill Palace, through a fountain garden that bounded the living and executive spaces. Afterwards, I ran a little further past the Arfia Palace, which is a place for nobles to work related to the royal household, and stopped.

It was in front of the Senho Cove, used for small occasions with nobles. It was a white marble building decorated with gold columns, and it had a fairly beautiful view of the sunset.

"My prince, we're here."

Jan placed a small staircase at the entrance of the wagon, helping to prevent Kalian from stepping on the footsteps of his clothes when he got out of the wagon, and escorting the servants of the Senho Cove to the place where the banquet and supper would take place.

The garden that was created behind the señor coffin.

There was a magic lamp ready for the day to go dark.

Callian crosses the garden and sits on a chair that the acolyte pulls out. Randall was already here, and after Callian arrived, Plants walked in and sat down. And there was always the same static for a while.

Suddenly, I felt the smell of dark perfume.

It was the scent of a Renieri flower, whose value was different because it only bloomed one day a year. A fragrance that even if it wasn't indoors, your fingertips still smell like a child.

'Silike.'

Kalian had never seen silica or smelled Renee. But the moment I felt the scent, I knew right away that she had arrived.

Calian turns his head and looks at Queen Silica walking along with Baron Brycen. Silica's gaze was also on Kalian. And they turned their eyes away from each other at the same time as if they had promised. Randall stares at you for a moment.

Silica sits in a seat that is reserved for her as if nothing had happened. It was next to Plants. The plants that saw the pair were sitting there with no particular example.

Seeing that, Silica frowned slightly, but didn't say much because she was conscious of Calian and Randall there.

"Long time no see, three princes."

Renan gives you a simple greeting.

Then I looked at Calian's somewhat unfamiliar face. Lennon looks surprised as if he had seen Kalian before. As he tries to open his mouth at Calian, Silica's hands move.

- Glug!

The debt made of purple silk was somewhat loud.

"Hmph!"

Renan notices Silica's discomfort and shuts up with an awkward cough.

Dinner started soon after the appetizer. As Lennon barely spoke and Silica responded briefly, Silica's gaze turned towards her.

"You've grown a lot."

Calian looks at Silica as soon as he realizes it's a question directed at him. I don't think it really meant "I was tall" at this point.

"It didn't grow that much."

After a few moments of hesitation, Calian adds a relaxed smile and a bold reply.

"More will grow."

Silica's eyes changed.

The old Kalian never laughed like that. I didn't like it.

At that moment, Renan, who was not aware, intervened between the two.

"That's right, Prince. You have to be taller, you're still growing!"

- Glug!

I blocked Renan's mouth again, not understanding the meaning of what Silica was saying.

'That's true. I'm amazed by the rumors.'

There are many skills required to run the Merchant Guild.

Among them, judgment is the foundation of the foundation. at least noticeably. Lennon has just proved to himself that there are no two things.

'The Merchant Guild Manager must be having a hard time.'

Silica looked at Renan with fierce eyes.

"The chef paid particular attention. Enjoy yourself, brother."

It is a blatant expression to shut up and eat.

Now he understands the words, or he's afraid of the eyes. This time, Lennon, who understood the meaning of silica, shut up and focused on steak. Plants, who was looking at it next to him, laughs without any concealment.

Silica's eyes turned towards Plants.

You ended your conversation with Kalian anyway, and this time you opened your mouth to Plants.

"I heard that your words did not follow you."

Randall glances at Calian slightly.

Calian didn't feel Randall's gaze, either from the horse raven he had acquired from Plants or from the thought of speaking to Calian himself.

'No. A horse is not someone who cares about a temper.'

Therefore, the word that Silica refers to is not Raven, but Calian. It means that Kalian's attitude towards Plants has changed.

"I wish you had informed me in advance."

Plants shakes his head.

He looks back at the green eyes of the same silica as his, twisted voice behind him.

"Something."

I wasn't asking what to say.

The quietly disappearing dust following the back of my mother's life has changed dramatically. So it's irritating Silica like a thorn in her neck. Plants understood the meaning of this.

"I would have told you already."

However, he knew that Plants' acolytes were reporting all of his men to Silica. So he asked what else to say about Calian.

Of course, Silica didn't realize that Kalian had changed. Rumors had already spread throughout the palace on the very day the head was cut off. In addition, I was thoroughly aware of the situation in between, including the incident at the restaurant and the riding lesson.

Silica said in a frustrating way that she was disappointed in Plants' reaction.

"You didn't tell me you were completely out of your hands."

There were no more fears in the red eyes facing Silica. You should have told Silica that Calian's change was not just appearance, so she could no longer hold on to it.

But Plants didn't.

"I don't know what you're going to do."

"That too · · · · · · · · · ·."

Plants had a snide mouth.

"I told you."

"I don't remember."

Plants leans back to the chair as if it were too much to talk about. Seeing his appearance, Silica smiled quietly.

Soon Silica's smile changed a little differently.

It was a clear smile like a child. It was a complete resemblance to what Plants had seen just before he threw the knife at Jan.

"Plants. You always have been. But don't worry too much. Nothing to miss, nothing to come back to."

You find a small smile on Calian's lips.

'If I die and disappear, there will be no escaping.'

Callian takes a sip of water, pretending not to mind, and puts it down. And then I went on to eat. Then Silica opened her mouth again.

"It won't take long."

Plants closes his eyes, turning his head as if to do so. Calian's eyes, which were moving the knife naturally, gradually turned cold.

How ridiculous would it be to put such a story in front of you?

Randall turns his head quietly to look at Plants and Calian. After that, I surprisingly spoke to Kalian.

"You look tired. Get some rest first."

I looked at him with surprised eyes, even Plants, at Randall's unexpected words. But Randall didn't say anything else.

It was a pleasure to hear you say one thing to get away from this dreadful table.

Calian nods immediately and stands up. Silica's glance narrows, but she doesn't say anything else about Randall's behavior.

"I enjoyed your meal."

Callian turns her head and looks straight at Silica.

Callian smiles, staring at Silica with the same eyes as the woman who died from Silica. Hopefully this will also resemble the dead Freya.

"See you next time."

As Silica frowns for a moment and tries to answer a moor, Kalian swoops away. I felt the power in Silica's hands, holding the debt.

Randall opens his eyes and takes the dessert to his mouth. It was a sorbet with Renieri flowers, made because silica liked it.

The scent of Renieri flowers melts away while wandering around Randell's mouth.

Three more weeks have passed.

In the wake of the King's Birthday celebration, the whole of Cairys, the capital, was ravaged. One or two of the nobles who were staying in their territory have gathered at Cairysis' house. The envoys from different countries have come and released the poison in a Rubia coffin prepared for the nobles of the royal palace. Two days ago, there was a commotion because the crowd wanted to see the Elves entering Cairosis.

Someone welcomes a guest, someone prepares a banquet. Others were busy keeping themselves safe. Everyone couldn't shake their heads before the grand festival.

However, Jan's complexion became noticeably worse.

Not only Yann, but also the six maids who helped Calian look bad. Even Shatin, the costumer who came back to Calian in a month, frowned.

"Prince, how did you get so dry?"

"That's it."

Calian grins, looking at Shatin's worried face.

I answered with a calm face and a voice, but Calian was also sensing the problem. Whenever I tried to use my magic power, it seemed obvious that Mana in my body was having a bad effect on my heart, as my heart aches and my body continues to deteriorate.

Jan looked at Khalian like that and said he would call a healer for a long day. After all, Calian explained to Jan that magic can only be used, that he had to hide the circle, and why he had to wait until the King's Birthday festival.

Of course, I couldn't say that I knew Alan was coming, so I hid that part appropriately.

'I'm sure some famous wizards will come for your birthday party. I'll find someone I can trust and check on the problem. Just wait until then.'

Yan nods at the top of his head, since the healer's power could have a rather bad effect if he had learned magic.

Callian is thinking about that moment and he hears Shatin's voice.

"I think I'll need to repair my uniform."

At first, I tried to pin my clothes on everything, trying to distinguish between where to shorten them and where to leave them. But then I realized it wasn't a problem to be solved, and I pulled out the tape measure again.

"I'll measure again, Prince."

I felt like I was going to cut down all my clothes and come back.

I felt sorry for Calian and followed him gently. Shatin, who has been measuring again for a while, said as if nothing was wrong.

"Still, I'm glad we have time. I'll have it repaired and back by tomorrow morning."

"I'll wear two outfits on the second and third day anyway, so if you're running out of time, you can bring them back a little later."

"Yes, Prince. I understand."

Soon, Kalian ordered the wagon to be delivered to Shatin. It was the least I could do to help Shatin.

And so, the birth day of King Remain came.
