How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 9. Check (2) >

The man looks away as Callian walks out.

Calian glances at the man and asks for the egg.

"He's looking for someone."

"They say they're looking for a kid who ran away with something."

Khalian looks at the egg with a meaningful eye and says again.

"I've got a lot of tail to come looking for."

Yuan's gaze shifts for a moment. What he noticed was what came out of Calian's mouth. Khalian asks the man, who never saw it coming.

"What does the seeker look like?"

"A young elf."

Kalian nods. Then he said, pointing to the group, specifically to Asia.

"Check."

You hear a breathing sound from inside the robe.

Suddenly, the man looks at Kalian for a moment. Then Calian turns his head slightly and looks at the egg. The head of the egg shifts slightly up and down.

Kalian grins.

"And go back as if you weren't looking for him. If you want to live."

The man's eyes became somewhat fierce. Kalian ignores the gaze and once again focuses on the surrounding energy.

The moment the man is one step closer to the group, he feels vulnerable. Some of the people who hid their lives didn't know exactly how many people were hiding in the forest, but it was clear how many were pointing arrows at this place.

But that direction was strange. Living towards men and Asia. The man looked at the robe and said that what was in it was waiting to kill both of them the moment he was confirmed to be correct.

So Khalian could see that the man had been abandoned by his colleagues long ago, and that the item that Sierra stole wouldn't be involved in such a good thing.

Kalian opens his mouth again.

"Keep your eyes open. Someone's been pointing at you in the woods all along. The arrow will fly as soon as we check it out. So just go. Don't get too close to them."

Naturally, the man did not believe Kalian's words. I gaze into the forest without knowing it, and Callian lets out a hiss.

"Don't do it."

That word became a signal.

As the Eggs and Knights' swords are drawn, six arrows fly out.

Four of them were aiming for Asia.

Nervous Kyrie and her knights swing their swords to stop the arrow. Immediately after that, the arrow flew again. This time, Kalian made his move.

- Oh, my God!

Kalian tugs at the man, leaning over him, and strikes the flying arrows. After that, the arrow that was fired again is blocked by the widespread shield.

This is Arsenal. Khalian smiles at Arsenal without even knowing it. Soon, the egg spoke to the knights.

"Check it out. Don't go too far."

It was an instruction from the idea that we didn't have to catch the people who shot the arrow. It wasn't their attack on Calian, and Calian's escort came first.

At the words of the egg, five knights gallop out.

Immediately after that, the arrow flew again, but it couldn't do any harm.

After that, no more arrows fly in.

He would have chosen to run.

Kyrie and the two knights next to Xia approach Kalian. To take over the man that Callian is holding onto. However, the man's hand slithers toward the hilt of the sword. Kyrie, who saw it, was surprised and raised her voice.

"My prince!"

The man quickly draws his sword and draws it up, forgetting that it was Kalian who saved him.

Thankfully, Kalian's reaction is a little quicker.

The moment she realizes the sword is drawn, she lets go of the man's grip. You then twist to the side, lifting the knife and turning it in the opposite direction. At the same time, a faint voice comes from Calian's mouth.

[Wind Arrow]

An arrow of wind appeared in an unsolicited starter. It soon passed through the shoulder of the man holding the sword and disappeared.

"Aah!"

The blade of the flying Kiri flies out of the man's blade.

- Ka-ang!

The man's sword flies away powerlessly.

The man didn't even pay attention to it. A sharp concentrated wind pierces through the passage, gripping the raging shoulders and screaming in your head.

And everyone, except for the man, was silent. The knights' eyes are fixed on Khalian.

Calian silently tucks the knife into his sleeve. As if nothing had happened.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault."

The egg that came to Kalian bows his head.

After 20 years of escort work, the real struggle was because Kalian was alone. Of course, Calian replied, shaking his head as it happened in the wind.

"Take him and check it out."

"Yes, Prince."

Immediately following the instructions of the egg, the two knights suppressed the man and stopped bleeding. We had to interrogate him, so he was in trouble if he died or fainted.

The knights who looked at the man's wounds looked at each other. Now there was the same thing in their heads. Just now, Kalian's movements and magic were continually catching my eye.

Jan didn't. Alan Manasil declares he has no magical talent, and he's learned a little self-defense from a sword.

He's a flower prince!

"· · · · · · · Where?"

The knights stare at Calian with a calm face, dragging him far away from him.

Calian's head stops halfway, looking back at Sia. This time, Jan looks at Kalian. Of course I knew how to use magic, and I was a little angrier than surprised because I had learned how to use a sword from Kiri.

If there's just a problem, I don't have enough eyes to see. To be precise, Calian's skills are completely inconspicuous.

"McDreamy, it almost happened again!"

Stormy nagging begins.

Stupid about what I believed about the knights and went forward.Stupid about what I would do if I got hurt. Stuff like that continued for a long time. The man is clearly invisible to Jann, who was dragged away from Calian with his shoulder pierced while looking at the blade once.

Calian turns his head quietly, raising his nagging voice for a moment. For some reason, the egg dodges Khalian's eye. It was clear that Jan knew his slowness and was holding back his smile.

By the end of the seemingly endless nagging, the knights who had gone into the forest returned. He looks unharmed, but has no income. The egg, which was not supposed to be caught anyway, asked the knights without reprimanding it.

"How many were there?"

One of the five knights came forward.

"There are seven of us. They dispersed immediately, leaving no trace behind."

"Yes, I understand."

After eating food, I met an Elf, but I got caught up in the unexpected and even got nagged. Callian walks towards the crowded Asia. Then he swoops off the robe that hid his ears.

Before the battle with the man, Calian's eyes were quite frightened, smiling at him. Shia's eyes are full of fear. And Sia and Calian's words appear almost simultaneously.

"Luca did. I don't know."

"What did you steal?"

Khalian looks at her as she overlaps words. Xiao said again.

"Yeah, I didn't know."

"You didn't know?"

"It's not me."

"They think you're..."

Instead of talking all the way there, Calian wraps his head around it. Now I understand what the problem is.

Callian turns his head away and calls on the one who can best deal with the situation.

"Sir Hertz."

"Yes, Prince."

Arsen, the smartest wizard in the land, came straight to Khalian. Kalian points to Asia with a frowned face.

"I answer questions before I ask them."

Arsenal was surprised to hear a short voice, when he realized what Kalian had said, looking back at the words of Xia. Callian, who no longer wanted to use his head to talk to the strangely articulate elf, looked at Arsen and said,

"We'll figure out how to say that later, and I'm guessing Sir Rochelle will investigate him, so Lord Hertz can start with what the elf said. I don't know what's going on. And you're gonna talk to him until I get him off your back."

It was at the beginning of the path of Arsen's Thorn Field.

* * *

"That's right."

"So what you're saying is, you don't know anything."

"I don't know."

"Moreover, in your case, what is the object?"

"No."

"What's more you · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · ·."

All the knights were bowing their heads because of the sound of conversations, not conversations coming from the side. My shoulders trembled. I couldn't smile as much as I wanted, so I just wanted to cry.

The only decent Khalian was making a small smile here, even if he acted freely.

- Poor wizard.

Kyrie, who saw Hina's Sour, smiles slightly.

A long time later, after receiving a note from Xiaa, Arsenal looks back at Jan. I asked if it would be okay to tell Callian the story. Jan seeks Khalian's permission to slow down the horses and head for Kiri. Soon, Arsenal came to Khalian's side with the message.

"It means the spirit of the crooked horse. It was built by my mother's tree."

"His name is Siarus Tian Eureha, Elf and he is 12 years old."

On the horse of Arsenal, the man riding with him 'interrupted' for a moment. Arsen, who was silent for a moment, said awkwardly.

"· · · · · · · Yes."

"Carry on."

Khalian replies briefly. Arsen opens his mouth again.

"The quicker answer than the question, the quicker I am."

"Sir Hertz."

Kalian turns his eyes to look at Arsenal for a moment. Arsenal bows and replies.

"Yes, Prince."

Callian raises his finger and points to Asia.

"In order."

Arsen pauses, nervous.

I realized that I thought what it meant to say in order, and that I should report it in the order in which I told them to find out about Asia. Somehow, Arsen tries to put aside the idea that Kalian is only very strict with himself.

"I'm sorry. First of all, I don't think you know what you stole. He was walking around with an elf named Luca and selling wooden sculptures. Lucara pursued the group that attacked the man with something unusual, and I think they stole something."

Lukara tells me that the Elves stole something and that the Siamese don't know what it is. I'm surprised the Elves really did steal it, but Calian nods slightly.

"Then I got chased, and Luca broke up with an elf. I think I've seen Prince Charming since then."

Kalian's head shifts up and down once more.

"And the reason for answering them first is that I don't know the details either. It is said that she opens her mouth by herself, but it is difficult to understand the accuracy of the child's description. I'm sorry."

After hearing everything Arsenal has said, Kalian looks at her. When Khalian's mouth opens, she replies.

"That's not all."

Kalian nods once more, trying to ask if it was a prophecy.

Kalian glances at the man on the horse tied between the egg and the other knight for a moment. When the man finally fainted and could not wake up, there was nothing to ask.

"What else can I tell you?"

"Nothing."

Eventually, there was nothing to be sure about. Jan asks Arsen, who greeted Kalian again, to go back and return to his rightful place.

"Do you want to find out for yourself?"

I had a long way to go. Kalian shakes his head.

"I don't think I need to be stuck here. Leave the investigation to Lord Latran for further investigation."

"Yes, Prince. So what do you do with the kid? I heard you live in the forest of Hiriska."

Kalian looks a little embarrassed.

It is a long way for the soldiers of the territory to protect and take you to Hirika Forest. Instead, it was near Siegfried territory.

I don't know what to do.

Grabbed the bottom of my shirt.

"Even if it's not at the entrance to the forest, you can take it nearby."

"Yes. I assure you, it's no longer dangerous."

I could carry around an Elven kid even if I was busy.

Kalian nods without a word.
