How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 19. Brother (3) >

When Chase stopped walking in front of Plants.

Alan stops moving as he enters Remain's office.

Alan rubs his temples together and mutters.

"· · · · · · · How did they get here?"

As soon as Alan realized who another guest was coming for lunch, he glanced at Remain's office door with an unusually calm face. This is the worst shit that ever happened to His Holiness the Great King of Cairys.

Callian never mentioned that Chase had been to Cairis in the past. If I'd known he was coming, I wouldn't have gone out of the palace so excited as a duck who doesn't know how to fly.

It's natural.

During the time of Bern, Chase did not do anything dangerous enough to come into the country with the prince's body.

'How did the absence of Bern affect Chase's ability to come here?'

Whenever Chase came all the way out here to meet someone, Alan was just lost in thought.

Moreover, it seemed that Chase and Plants had met. Both have no memory of Bern, but the vibe is unusual.

Alan postpones going to Remain's office and heads out. Just in case, I was trying to get Chase in before Callian saw him.

'It will shake.'

Kalian is clearly shaken.

I had to give him time to prepare.

You can't use any attack magic or movement magic inside the buildings of the Arfia Palace. With deep appreciation for the safety of the king, Alan sped up his walk.

* * *

"Nice to meet you."

This was Chase's first words to Plants.

royalty versus royalty.

Originally, there should have been a process of explaining who Chase and Plants's attendants were. But it was too soon for Chase.

What Chase brought out was a perfectly ordinary word, and it made no difference.

And that was Kalian's way of saying it.

Suddenly, Plants was once again deeply reluctant. Why do I keep smelling my brother when I've never seen him before?

I had no idea who Kalian looked like, so Plants didn't even understand why it was so unpleasant.

"I know it's good to see you."

Plants still lowers his voice, keeping his gaze fixed on Chase.

Chase was definitely a threesome from another country.

Moreover, no matter how great the Cairys was, Cecretia was not a subordinate of Cairys. It was not a bad relationship between the two countries.

Moreover, even if the attendants did not explain, they already knew who each other was. So it must have been Plants first.

But Plants didn't seem to recognize Chase at all.

"Dare. It is a country's custom to hide your face from the prince of a kingdom."

I can feel the air around me freezing white.

Prince Cairys.

It was a truly arrogant attitude that could be seen as Plants.

The acolyte's mouth widens, knowing that the tooth in the robe is Chase. At the same time, a vigorous speculation emanates from the knight standing behind Chase. The only thing that didn't shake was Plants himself and Chase.

Chase's lips below the robe make a small smile.

Goddamn it.

He's the same as Kalian, laughing like that.

With this in mind, Chase moves his hand as Plants tries to bring out a flying horse again. He bites the knight about to step forward and slowly raises his hand to take off the hood.

"I keep coming dressed like this."

Long blue hair shook briefly and dark purple eyes turned towards the plant.

"I had forgotten for a moment. Prince Plants."

I just explained it, and there was no apology or excuse.

At that moment, Plants was relieved to learn that the appearance underneath the robe was much different from that of Calian. Then he opened his mouth naturally as if he had only just recognized it.

"Oh, my God."

Plants' mouth rises.

However, fortunately, both lips went up evenly.

And I bowed my head so rarely that it would be out of respect, and I asked.

"I wonder what Prince Cecretia came all this way for."

Plants was also not in a position to offer apologies.

Chase received an example from Plants with a face he didn't care about, but he could not have known that he was being so stubborn.

"I have something to celebrate and someone to meet."

Chase turns his head for a moment.

Then Calian looked around at the enormous palace, which he couldn't help but wonder.

"So we have these unexpected conversations, and it's very realistic where this is."

I'm not here to talk to you.

Chase's words sound like this in Plants' ears.

In fact, I didn't come to see Plants, but Chase was the one who spoke first. Thus, Plants' answer did not continue to multiply.

"You came all the way to Cairys, but of course not. You couldn't have known."

It's natural to have a garden.

It was just a pretty aggressive thing to say.

Although it wasn't long before I took care of Plants, long-time palace acolyte Raleigh knew what happens when Plants's wick twists. And Knight Tailan didn't realize Chase wasn't usually this sensitive. These two were in a very troubled state.

The dialogue between the two kingdoms could also affect the relationship between the two countries.

For this reason, he needed mediation, but Raleigh was unable to intervene in the conversation between the prince and the prince, and Tailan was unable to resist Chase's bidding.

"It's been a long time, Your Grace. And good morning, Prince Plants."

So they felt the world brightened by the sound of their voices.

* * *

There was another one who noticed this situation outside the Arfia palace.

Slayman Horn Siegfried, the Duke who came to the royal palace to shine a light on Remain.

"Hurrah · · · · · · · ·. Remain. You've invited a great man."

Remain's face was not so grumpy, even though Slay was comfortably calling out his name.

In fact, they were quite gruesome.

To be precise, not just Lemaine and Slay, but his brothers, Asnan and Slay, were two of a kind. Then, Le Maine was no longer angry, and it was always the place where she and Le Maine had this conversation. So it's probably only Slay in the world who can call him by his name in front of Remain.

Remain sits across from Slayman, who seems to have found something interesting.

"Prince Cecretia?"

Only Slay laughs for a long time.

Remain's chamber, which was always quiet, echoes loudly.

Slayman didn't care much when he found out that Calian, Remain's son, was hiding it.

Just like that, I didn't forget my role as an elephant even when my brother failed to succeed in his quest to ascend the throne.

Would Slay be the only one interested in prince secretia?

"When did I see the royal family? The sword, of course."

A sword with the prince.

Tailan Castrin, the continent's first sword. It was the sound of him coming.

"I take it the king of Cecritia brought Tailan with him when he crowned his son."

"It's a well-known fact."

Remain opened his mouth as he realized something, appropriately answering Slayman's admiration.

"Then how did you know Lord Castrin was here?"

"Oh, I didn't feel his error. I realized he was jealous. I don't know if I'll ever die from Castrin's error."

"Why is Lord Castrin speculating here?"

"Maybe one of the princes here had a fight with Prince Cecritia."

Le Maine rises from her seat, terrified to hear it.

The arm of Remain sits on Slayman's large hand.

"Your Majesty, your butt is so light. The Wizard's gone. He'll take care of himself."

"There should be no quarrel between the prince and the prince of Cecritia."

Le Maine is back on her feet.

However, instead of listening to Slayman's words, I started watching the crowd walking to the window instead.

As you approach the herd, you see Allen bring Chase into the Arfia Palace. It wasn't long before I saw Plants leaving.

"The speculation has subsided. Look, it's no big deal."

Le Maine returns to her seat after watching her for a while. Hearing Slayman's words roughly, you focus on Chase coming in, and you don't see anyone else outside the window.

The entrance to the royal palace is far away.

A black horse standing in its place.

* * *

Calian smiles quietly.

"· · · · · · · So."

I've been so excited since morning.

The child was so burnt that he couldn't catch the thirst of the heart.

It wasn't the sword.

Kalian looks down.

Raven's high-pitched hand turns blue.

Raven keeps trying to run forward.

Dried it out.

I tried my best to stop him.

* * *

Jan was worried because she didn't look so good preparing for lunch that day.

"Perhaps you should have lunch and rest."

Calian shakes his head, frozen and smiling, as if it were normal. Then he said in a sinking voice.

"I'll take Kiri. See if you can find the Siegfried Ball in the palace."

I tried to say that I didn't have to, but it was hard to refuse. That's why Jan called Kyrie after answering her will.

He didn't say anything to Kiri while he was on his way to lunch. You're just looking at Calian with a more worried face than Jan.

It was because Alan sent a short message a moment ago.

- The prince of Cecretia finds Cairis.

No further explanation was necessary.

I immediately understood why Kalian's smiling face looked like that.

Calian steps out of the wagon and enters the Senho Coffin. Then I walked along the hall for a long time and stood at the entrance to the banquet hall.

Kiri stops the knight from opening the door.

It was because I knew that the sound of Kalian's footsteps had never been constant.

"Please wait a moment."

It takes a long breath from Calian's mouth. Then he said something to himself or to Kiri.

"· · · · · · You wouldn't know anyway."

Chase doesn't know who Callian is.

Chase won't know if he's being a little awkward. Alan would understand, and Plants would notice the awkwardness, but would not be very interested. So she thought it was okay.

Soon, Kalian's eyes reach the knights standing at the door.

The door opens and Calian's position is revealed.

One step at a time, Calian steps inside.

And then I met him.

· · · · · · · Brother.
