How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 21. Behind the Abyss (5) >

The eyes of the late Evan Brissen are wide open.

Plants' words were more surprising than when Kalian joined Demirea.

"Sacred knights. You mean the First Prince really brought them into the palace?"

Plants also hated repeating the same words as Callian. Rather than repeating the words, it was appropriate to say that it is a bothersome nature to speak.

That's why Plants told me a different story instead of saying it's true.

"Is Brissen strong?"

Strong?

Evan replied with a face that he didn't know why he sounded so naturally.

"What are you saying all of a sudden that you don't even know the power of Brissen?"

"Curious. Strong."

"Strong. Powerful, but not the most powerful among the nobles of Cairys."

Having said this, Evan looks up at Plants with his proud eyes, and one of Plants' mouths rises wide.

"I look like a jackal."

Silike, Lennon and Grey, Alan's Pier, Calian's Ordeal, Calian and Siegfried's alliance, and more. So far, Evan has been trying to stay awake for so many things.

"Notice, take off your feet, revise the plan, bite your feet again. I've only done this once. I've never done it right. Griffin is nothing but a lion. That's what it looks like."

Plants or Evan or each other didn't even think they were blood. Relationships as needed, no more or less. That's why Plants said it as a prince, and Evan heard it from the Marquis.

Evan was therefore frowned upon by the thought of being persecuted by the prince. He tries to say something with unpleasant emotions, but Plants shuts Evan out in a low voice.

"My brother thinks more than he breathes."

Plants turns his head to look at Evan.

Then, he looked at the person with a clear look in his eyes.

"Because I have to live."

"It is · · · · · · · · · ·."

"Do you think Randall is any different from my brother? Seeing if I was really asking if he was watching the flowers every day, he made fun of me."

Evan shuts up.

Plants was right.

Every day, we go out to the garden and look at flowers and look at books. That's what Evan sees.

Being the firstborn did nothing for Cairys. So whether it's Randall or Tensile or some nobleman who supports Randall. I thought it was nothing.

"You said you'd deal with those two, and all you do is roll around."

"My prince, the word is too..."

"I assure you, if you keep this up, Bryce will never beat my brother, not even Randall. Don't you have to figure out how to make a gamble and put me on the top of the tribute at the time of making arrangements to bring in a change bag with no income?"

The blade is in the eye of Plants, which was drifting gently down. Plants looks like he's pulling out his sword at Evan right now.

"So now. I need you to wake up."

Unless, of course, we bring Randall down.

With a hidden meaning, Plants was trying to fix Evan's mind. I couldn't stay under the shadow of Calian forever, so I wanted to use Evan and Bricen's sword on Randall.

Evan gives you a slightly more intense look at what Plants said.

You can no longer touch other princes than Plants. I was listening to Plants, who only knew he was a jackass, so I thought I shouldn't be distracted by my self-esteem. At this rate, I have to decide to try my best.

"I understand what you're saying, Prince."

After hearing Evan's answer, Plants felt fortunate to understand at all. I don't know how much head Evan will use, but it will be better than before.

By the time Evan and I had a few more conversations, the ball was already over. So Plants went back to Chermill.

Then I saw the acolyte standing at the head of Chermill Palace. It was Jan, the great acolyte who said that Calian didn't even know why he was doing this here.

Jan meets Plants and greets him with an unflattering face. As Jan passed by, Plants suddenly stopped and opened his mouth.

"You."

I didn't say Siegfried, so I called Jan the servant this time. Jan replied with a slightly more respectful attitude than in the morning.

"Yes."

"Call the maid. Not you."

Plants are generally short of words and yarn is generally shortsighted.

Therefore, it is inevitable that the face of the acolyte who was looking at the two princes would look like, "Please understand and eat."

Powerful Plants looks at you with irritating eyes and says again, "I don't know what to say."

"Let Hina stay with the maid. You go."

"My prince, are you hurt?"

What son of a bitch touched my prince like a flower?

Just before that came out, Plants spoke on his behalf.

"My brother barks well, so even his acolytes want to bark."

Then, I walked in like it was none of my business whether I understood it or not.

* * *

I haven't talked for a long time.

It was enough that Chase cut off his hair and Calian came to see him, so he didn't have to speak out of his mouth.

That way, Callian tells Chase a lot.

Guilt over Chase, memory of the last day, a lot of things that have happened.

And Bern.

I put it all down in front of Chase.

Chase accepted everything without saying a word.

Ironically, the only person who could fully understand what made Kalian incapable of being Bern was Chase.

Chase loosens his grip on Calian's arm. Bern was once again Calian from the moment he escaped Chase's arms.

I decided to accept that I can be seen with my face, but I can't be a brother.

Callian opens his mouth with a fading voice.

"Later."

When it's all over.

Then.

When it's okay for Callian to have a place to go back.

When it's okay to believe there's a place to go back.

When the time comes.

"Later · · · · · · · ·."

The next word did not continue.

Callian wasn't very good at lying.

Chase, who understood that, smiled and replied.

"Goodbye. Prince Kalian."

You told me to go back because it's too late.

So you take Calian's steps back.

* * *

Hina, who didn't even know it in English, left the cat in her arms running into the Chermill Palace. I had no reason to stick around since I was sure I was going to the fourth floor anyway.

'You didn't come here because you went somewhere alone.'

Then he gets a little bored and quietly waits for Callian to come instead of Jan.

After a long time like that, when I was holding back the yawn that I didn't even know existed. I saw Calian walking from afar after falling asleep. And I noticed.

'Ahh · · · · · · · · · ·.'

Blessed eyes do not heal or pour so much as they are useless. Kalian's eyes are puffy.

After seeing it for the first time, Hina quickly ran to Kalian. You feel a joyous glow on Calian's face.

"Hina."

Soon, he became embarrassed.

It's because of the face I don't want to see.

"Why did you come out? You're going to catch a cold. Get in there."

Kalian is particularly kind to Hina.

Hina also knew that it wasn't about reason, so she used to think it was fun for younger Khalian to act like her brother.

Anyway, Calian, who was worried about Hina, clearly had a look on his face, tried to get inside with a slight bow. Hina quickly said, pausing in front of such a Khalian.

- We're in big trouble. Your eyes, Toad.

Jan will be worried again.

With the exception of 'Toad', Kalian nodded his head and stopped his feet, knowing all of Hina's Suir. And Hina grabs Kalyan's arm and takes him to the shore of Chermill Palace and sits on a rock.

Hina looks at Kalian for a moment with those big eyes.

- Did you cry?

Callian shakes his head and says, "Yes." Hina smiled, because his actions were more honest than words.

- Just a little longer, then we'll go in.

Hina covers Kalian's eyes with a small hand. Then you tap Calian on the back with your remaining hand. I'm finally trying to be a sister.

Hina was the warmest light in the world.

Tears fall from Hina's palm, filled with a calm light.

Hina just clapped her back as she had no hands left to say anything. I didn't ask anything, I just patted her.

A short distance from the window of Chermill Palace, you hear a sigh of meowing, and soon you're gone.

* * *

The festival ended in celebration of Remain's birthday, which always happens big, but the main character of the festival does not intervene that much.

It was definitely Remain who sent the birthday after all.

However, the look on Calian's face suggested that he had aged on Le Maine's behalf. Alan kicked his tongue for it.

"Are you obedient?"

Seeing Kalian, who had not understood his teacher's words for a long time, Slay added an explanation.

"Your suffering means it all comes to your face!"

Then he grimaces and grabs her breasts, smiling as if she were so magnificent that she interpreted Alan's words. Obviously, there was an arm's length cut on Slayman's broad chest the other day.

Alan kicks his tongue at Slay's Bay.

"They just made me look old again."

Callian laughs a little louder, impatient.

That morning.

Arsenal came to see me when a decent Khalian sat across from Jan and was having breakfast. Then he said he needed to take Hina for a while.

Callian, who didn't know that it was going to be this hard until then, came to Wilhelm Cove with Hina with a kind heart to see Alan as well.

And then I saw it.

The marble on the floor, the slay on top of it, and Tailan sitting next to him in perfect shape.

It was a good thing Jan didn't come with the meeting.

"It doesn't even tickle this much! '

Slyman smiles and soon dozes off.

Eventually, Alan stepped up and took over Slayman's big body.

A long time ago, Slayman almost died pointing his sword at Tailan. Slay was so eager to see Tailan again. Even though you knew you'd lose!

Anyway, Slayman felt a lack of alcohol at the ball yesterday, and ended up having another round of drinks in Alan's office. I ran into Tailan on my way home in the morning, and he asked me to play a game with him in the perfect hangover.

And then there's that.

Calian sighs deeply, seeing the half-destroyed training ground. Then I woke up a moment ago and said to Slayman,

"You will be charged for recovery."

"Of course you do. I'll pay you well for your treatment."

Slay smiles again with an answer about what's so good. He lost the fight without a grudge and laughed because of it.

Calian opens his mouth, watching Slay like that.

"Something other than money."

Slayman's face is awkward when he hears it.

"I have no intention of asking for a sword other than Siegfried's shield, so you have nothing to worry about. That's enough with Demirea's name."

"And with what do you want me to repay you?"

Calian opens his eyes and clears his mind for a moment. Then, as if he had made a decision, he nodded his head and conveyed the answer to Slayman.

"I would like your permission, so please lend me the ball's mansion."

"You mean Siegfried's Mansion in Cairysis?"

"Yes."

"You may first ask what you intend to use the mansion for."

A question crosses Slayman's face, and Calian smiles.

"I want to hide my knights in the ball house. Even the Duke of Siegfried has a training camp where knights stay."

The Knights created by ISON, of course, are in ISON's territory. What better place to sneak those knights into Cairosis than Siegfried's mansion?

"Are you referring to the prince's knights, Karen and Raon, the royal guards?"

"That's right."

"You're looking for something quite expensive to call a marble floor price."

"Seems like a reasonable price to me."

Slayman smiles as he hides the prince's mercenaries for the bottom of the training ground.
