How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 24. cornerstone of understanding (5) >

A piece of the sky seemed to sparkle.

Dozens of red lights slowly appeared to many people looking up toward the sky. Remain was one of them.

Alan said that he was sitting across from Remain, taking off his glasses, to see if he wanted to go to the window.

"Don't stare."

If there's one person who shouldn't know what that means or who the flame is for, it's Le Maine. Alan was going to come and sit in Remain's office a while ago.

"Looks like Chermill Palace."

In response, Alan shuts up and Remain stares deeply into his eyes.

"What's going on?"

I knew there were some things about Calian that Alan wasn't telling Le Maine. Nevertheless, Remain didn't bother to ask about it because there was nothing to hide or deceive about it.

If it were normal, Calian would play a prank on you. He told you not to even look at him. That's why the light bothers me.

Is it just a curiosity, or a vague hunch about my bloodline, that Le Maine, who used to take things for granted today? Alan, who has a short tongue, replies with a sinking voice.

"The third prince is just trying to find his way."

Remain looks out the window for a while, then nods and opens his mouth.

"Yes."

"Would you like a drink?"

Even though Remain didn't answer, Alan puts a bottle and a glass on the table. I had already prepared the drink without asking permission.

I met Randall this morning, and Le Maine replied softly with complications.

"Sure."

Alan smiles quietly and fills two glasses with wine. Le Maine opens her mouth as she watches the glass fill with light, sparkling liquor.

"I felt it again today."

"What did you notice?"

At that point, Remain picks up a cup that Allen hasn't given up, takes a sip first, and then opens his mouth.

"It was not wise. You don't deserve to be a king or a father."

I wish I had been crowned by the prince's choice and given up when my brother rebelled.

"What the hell."

Alan opens his mouth, knowing Remain had met Randall this morning. The eye that was speaking was bent thick.

"Of course, you've come to a new understanding."

Le Maine smiles bloody.

He won't take Le Maine's side even if he dies soon.

That's why he's drinking without checking what's in the liquor he brought.

Alan looks out the window for a moment. Suddenly, the red energy almost disappeared. The flame of the Kalian almost touched the sky.

"Don't try to undo what's already too late. It's arrogance."

"I don't."

Remain silent. Then he finished drinking half the alcohol and opened his mouth again.

"I'd better find my way, too."

"The day will come when I see it. He who lights fires, he who speaks."

I'll find the right path this time.

Alan smiles quietly, saying that.

* * *

It's funny when you think about it.

The control of the Valkan Wizards is Allan's, and the Knights Karen and Raon are now under Plants' control.

Alan is holding up Remain's hand for now. Plants has also teamed up with Kalian, who wants Le Maine's life extension and an unarmed man. That's why it's no threat to Remain.

That's why they say it's funny.

They're supposed to all belong to the king.

"The country looks so · · · · · · · · · ·."

I blurred my words because no matter what I said to myself, I didn't think the word "country looks like shit" should come from the mouth of the prince.

Because of this, Kalian shakes his head in a dark black bathtub.

- Woohoo.

I hear the sound of the water being kept warm for a long time or the water temperature regulator running. It also meant that he was focused on thoughts like that.

I came into the water because my mind became complicated for no reason, and I was about to reach Remain's snared life while continuing with the tail of my thoughts. Soon, Kalian seizes the thought of going too far and puts it back to its original state.

You look at the tip of your wrinkled hand as it blows into the water, and you hear Kalian's voice.

"How hot is the seal of the oath."

I still have a lot of worries.

pebbles, the identity of 'them', the axis of time and Serenti, Randell's secret and hidden power, the Knights of ISON, the true meaning of 'good' as Hina said, what kind of dog would you have if you went to Camelon, etc.

But my brother left me another one. Saying that my brother will let me live peacefully.

"I'll let him take care of it."

So the Sispanians.

I should have been a little less considerate.

If it's a jailbreak, it should be resolved with blessing. The power of your blessing rests on the seal of your oath. Don't you think that's a little strange?

"Ha. Really."

I couldn't bear to look at the old Khalian for saying good-bye. Because of this, Calian sighed for a short while, talking frustration to an ancient dragon who had no idea where he was.

"Anyway, let's hear the terms of the contract."

There is no answer if you complain to the Sispanians. It was definitely a light improvement to make it portable, so there should be a hole in the contract from Evan's head. Without it, I believed it would not be Plants that would receive the seal of the oath. Therefore, once I heard the terms and conditions, I decided to reconsider.

The next thing I thought of was Randall.

I don't know what you've been talking about with Le Maine, but I didn't expect Le Maine to have a big impact on Randall. Randall will never open his heart to Remain.

"Serenti wants me to solve all the problems in this house."

Like repairs for Remain's mistakes.

Calian leans his head against the bathtub and looks up at the ceiling, his imaginary smile. I was lying still in the water, and then I sighed again.

"Come out."

That's why I felt like I was back again.

Calian frowns for a moment at that resolute voice that doesn't care about privacy.

"Yes."

He wants me to come out, but I have to.

* * *

I like cats.

I have a bad relationship with Randall.

Mint hates it. You can't eat anything fresh. Uncooked onions do not come out that way. I don't think I eat much meat. I don't eat bread with nuts. I don't even touch my dick or butter.

Eat grass well.

White bread is easy to eat. I also eat eggs. Milk is mediocre and juice is mostly all I drink. I don't know coffee and I drink tea well.

The mouth is rough, but no swearing. Oh, he barks.

It's noticeable.

It really bothers me to talk. It doesn't move well, but it's not sloppy. I think deeply. If I think about it, I stay put until I come to a conclusion.

And surprisingly, I am in a hurry.

I think I've given all my consideration to cats.

"Meow!"

'I am Prince Plants' favorite cat, Prince Kalian. '

The cat cries out in Plants' arms. This time, I don't know if he came through the door or not, but he definitely brought his cat in.

"What brings you here?"

"Contract contents."

"Are you here because you failed to deliver on the seal of the oath? You can talk about it at dinner tomorrow."

"You'll think about it."

"I didn't bother to wonder that at night."

Callian replies with a still dull voice. I was leaving my head dripping with water and making it clear that I was interrupted from my personal time.

Of course, Plants didn't care at all. He sighs silently and opens his mouth.

"Tell me."

"I will not betray Brissen."

"Yes. Details."

"Nothing."

"You just said that one."

"Yes."

As Evan Brissen stares at you for sure, Plants smiles and replies.

"Because they're arrogant."

I believe that if the range of 'treachery' I think comes from here, others will see it that way. Because their judgment is a universal criterion, there will be no one who makes different judgments than their own.

"I'm sorry to hear that."

It's so stupid.

I tried to follow up, but Plants replied first.

"I know."

"Yes."

No matter how easy it was to accept the seal of the oath.

Perhaps Evan would have thought more deeply if he hadn't signed the contract there. Then at least one more detail would have been created. He would have said he would make a contract there. I didn't want to give you time to come up with another scheme.

Rather than being specific and detailed with no gaps, I prefer blurry and ambiguous conditions. The range of caution will be widened as it is vague, but there is very little chance that the phosphorus of the oath will actually occur.

"It's better to be safe, even if it's annoying. Thank goodness."

Plants nods and Calian looks at Plants. Plants once again ignores the blatant gaze of leaving if there's nothing else to say.

"Knights. I should tell you."

"Yes. I should warn you before the Knights are passed on to you. Regardless of what we do, Prince Brissen will not be handed over to you, so you wouldn't be too reluctant to bring it."

"Of course."

"Tomorrow, my brother says, I can't leave Chermill until tomorrow."

But I can't tell you to come, like the teacher, but Kalian is full of them.

"Moreover, since you were the subject of this matter from beginning to end, you should be able to face His Majesty."

I remembered the same look on Plants' face as when he drank mint tea.

Of course. It may not be as good as Randall, but Plants will still have goals left for Remain, so it was not easy for the two of you to meet.

"Okay."

Soon, a short sigh came out of Plants' mouth.

"And I'd like you to come meet Lord Hertz with me tomorrow. We need to be specific about this. How are you?"

I remembered Plants' expression was irritating.

Kalian laughs when he sees it.

It was the first time Plants looked my age.

"Don't hate me so much. He's interesting to know."

Seeing Callian say that, Plants rolls one lip up. Soon, Plants leaning against the couch opened his mouth with a soft voice.

"You're saying it's fun to accept that crazy wizard."

Calian shuts up for a moment and looks at Plants.

"· · · · · · · I told you to just turn it over."

"It's obvious. Who ran the Balkans instead of Earl Manasil."

I'm guessing.

Who would lead Balkans on Alan's behalf? Who else would have stopped him. I don't know what he did.

Who died for whom.

Khalian smiles slightly, not knowing who Arsen's spear would be the last to reach beyond Bern.

"My brother is broad-minded. Maybe you have a short memory."

"I think there's too much unfair to remember."

There were already so many unfair faces, but Plants didn't say anything else. And Kalian opens his mouth as if he was just coming up with an idea.

"Well, maybe tomorrow I'll go see someone as unfair as I am."

Callian raises his hand and points up. I want to meet an empty person with an unfair mind.

Plants gives Calian a silent glance and nods once.
