How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 30. My People (2) >

It was quiet.

After the fight, there was always silence. It was so quiet that the lightning struck and the pillar soared.

In the midst of that silence, Alan's eyes, which were looking around, touched Euria. After hearing about what had happened so far.

With that gaze, Uriah, who was standing quietly, lowers her head slightly. I thought I knew what Alan was trying to say.

When the wind blows, Alan lets out a silent voice as he watches the tip of his purple hair shake for a moment.

"Deception."

Alan warned me of danger, and told me to take my hands off it.

Uriah disobeyed.

Even if the servants of Xeon were to step on the backs of the tenants, not of Uriah, it is only a reference to understand the current situation, even if Uriah started purely for Calian.

It did not justify Euria's guilt or allow her to spill her blood again.

"Arrogance, arrogance, arrogance."

Alan's eyes narrow like this. As angry as Callian was, Alan was angry. But the reason for being angry was a little different.

If Callian was angry with Arsen's injuries right now, Alan was reprimanding Uriah for short notice.

"You're not the one who's going to die when you're wrong. It's the man who trusts you and hangs himself while forgetting it."

Uriah's eyes tremble when she hears this. He asked what happened to Arsenal.

Alan shakes his head and says, "I didn't mean to mislead you."

"It doesn't look like there's a big mount. Don't think it's a good thing you arrived just in time to save my life. Maybe he would have died a little later. Because of you."

Uriah bows her head without excuses. Alan wasn't wrong.

Alan turns his head and looks at Calian as he looks at her. You feel the aura of Arsen rising above Raven drifting away toward the Movement Magic. So where Callian is now, the two of them are alive.

"It's not that I don't know what I was doing for the prince."

They were not fighting. Calian will not be speaking to the enemy in a peaceful manner.

Alan speaks quietly because he's more concerned and concerned about what he might be doing than what Callian might be doing.

"Please don't do that from now on."

Soon after, one side was cut off.

There was only one person living in that vast place.

* * *

Scattered.

It was such a day that I no longer needed to twitch my body in the night air. But it only felt scattered to Plants.

So, the light of the magic lamp that was left in the darkness, the sound of the wagon running forward depending on that one light, and the speed of the mind that was listening to it were all scattered.

- Polygon, polygon.

The wizards of the Balkans are not left in the palace. And Kyrie didn't have as much faith in Kyrie as she does right now. Apart from them, only Hina, Jan, and Plants were able to enter the area where the Calian Movement Mages were located.

But you can't ask Yan to take Hina to the Movement Magic Camp. I can't send Hina alone.

As a result of these reasons, Plants became the second prince to leave without permission that night.

In fact, I should have gotten the right permission when I met Remain, but I forgot because of the innocent lavender and the evil words brought out. It wasn't really Plants, but I was too eager to get out of it.

I should be thankful that those who stood by the front gate listened to Plants because they were from the Knights Karen, whom Plants had acquired.

With that in mind, Hina, who was sitting opposite her, raised her hand as she turned her head forward to look at the scattered landscape passing through the window of the wagon.

- Are you worried? Bad face.

Hina asked, even though Plants wasn't particularly frowning. Plants, who had seen such a hina, quietly replied.

"No. It's just scattered."

What, no, no, no, no, etc.

Plants had a long enough response to answer and hand it over. Though it may not have been a return on strawberries, consideration for hinas, or otherwise meaningless change, Hina smiled as she thought anything was good. He then took off his white robe and handed it over to Plants.

Plants extends his arm to ask why. You have to be empty-handed to hear the reason. For now, Hina said to Plants, who handed over the robe as she gave it to them.

- Warmth, magic. It's warm.

Hina was still staying at her original residence in Chermill Palace. Callian asked Allan for some magic to keep him warm because he was worried he might catch a cold on the way to the inn and Wilhelm Coffin. I was thinking about Alan Robe, who enchanted the wagon I had prepared for the adult ceremony.

Then, I was worried that my Hina would run away in the summer. Unlike Chermill Palace, there was no thermostat in Wilhelm's coffin. So I asked Alan to do the same.

Because of the increasing demands, unlike the lobes of the other Balkans who were not enchanted by any of them, Hina's magic was greatly increased, such as temperature regulation, lightening, basic magical resistance of all attributes, and automatic expansion of shields up to three times. Even recently, it has been awarded "Clean."

- Cover it up.

Since Plants is scattering, he is handing over a precious robe that cannot even be paid for.

Plants opens his mouth, unaware of the lifeline, because Khalian is not in Cairysis and cannot see it.

"That's enough."

It wasn't because it was cold anyway.

I just felt like I was scattered.

Hina, who saw the robe returning like this, moved her hand again.

- If it's warm, my mind, it's fluffy, I like it.

Plants did not recognize Hina's word as' fluffy '. But I understand. The look on your face tells me what you're trying to say.

"· · · · · · · · Know what."

So Plants replied:

Don't tell me you don't know anything. You bring out the sound that might be heard in a standing voice. Rather than a fury toward a harsh place, it was a vigilance to the person who handed over unfamiliar things.

Hina smiles silently, staring at such plants for a moment. Then he got up from his seat, picked up the robe in Plants' hand, spread it out, and covered his knee at will.

- I don't know, there are things I can do.

It's unbelievable.

Have you forgotten you're dealing with the prince? That's why you're acting like this.

Plants, who was about to ask, just shut up and looked out the window. Then you turn your head back to the front. After that, I closed my eyes like a habit and opened them again.

If you look somewhere else, or if you close your eyes, you won't be able to speak. Hina.

Then suddenly, I looked down. A purple mark has been engraved on the robe. It meant healing, so Hina's was the only purple one in Balkan. Stay out of sight wherever Hina is. So we can get there fast when we get hurt.

So you can be healed before it's too late.

Plants' eyes, briefly looking at the purple mark, saw another pattern carved together on the inside of the circular mark. A tiny, star-like thing.

"Flowers again."

Plants said this without my knowledge. The white robe was engraved with white thread, so it was definitely a flower that was not visible.

I was getting tired of flowers anyway, but it's flowers again. So I was about to take the robe back to Hina, but she spoke freely to me.

- La, li, si, um, No scent, flowers. So, okay.

Larissium.

Hina said she liked flowers by that name.

- Flowers, they don't smell, and I, I can't speak. So instead of a name, I put it in.

He said he liked the scent because he was speechless. That's why it was carved like a name.

Plants takes his hands off the robe. Then, the last thing he said was a passing tone.

"What's wrong with that?"

It's nice and fortunate for Plants to have a flower that doesn't smell good. Isn't it like permission to not have to feel all the fragrances of the world as Renaissance? Even if every scent in the world smells like a Renieri, this flower won't always be a Renieri.

So no scent, no words.

What's wrong with that?

At the words of Plants, Hina rolls her eyes and moves her hands again.

- I know, I just said she looks like me.

Plants smiles slightly when he hears that. And he leaned against the chair.

The flowers that said they didn't smell, the flowers that looked like little stars, were like stars on a moonless night for Plants.

I have a purple flower that I hate.

I learned a white flower I didn't hate.

I felt like nothing would happen if I added and subtracted it, so I turned my back on it because I thought it would happen one day.

Instead of Lucy, the robe on her knees is as warm as Lucy's, with her back bent.

* * *

It was silent.

In the meantime, Kalian stands alone and says nothing. I just stood there quietly, staring at the floor, and I just stood there like I was pinned down.

- Peppermint

There is a sound of treading on the floor from a distance.

Kalian stands still. I did not look where the sound was coming from, nor was I conscious or alert.

I was just standing there because I knew who it was, and I knew I wouldn't have to watch out for it until I was dead.

- Peppermint. Peppermint.

The sound of an impetuous footstep draws closer to Calian. Then you pause quietly next to Callian.

It was Allan who came all the way here without asking Calian about anything that seemed urgent, leaving this place as it is, according to Calian's doctor, to help Euria.

Allen confirms that there were no survivors around him, and then sends Euria back to the cave where there were seizures of Cecretia. After that, I came back to Kalian and asked him.

"Are you hurt?"

A soft voice rings in Calian's ear.

I knew that Kalian had grown up, and I asked if I knew that the people here would never be opponents to him.

Callian, who knows the question is not a greeting, replied as if not to worry.

"I'm not hurt."

There are no bodies around Kalian. We didn't know if they'd already taken care of it or if they'd left it somewhere else, but it wasn't important to Alan.

"I'm glad."

With a warm word, Calian nods.

Then, for a short while, he looked around and gave a monotonous voice.

"It seems that the purpose of the first raid on Sir Seyren and the people who came here today was different. They said they didn't know anything about the first raiders. Judging by the difference in power, you were aiming for Sir Seiren, and the people who came this time were said to have stepped on the backs of the tenants. I don't think that's a lie."

In other words, one of the members of the Zeon camp found the forest today was a Great Desert warrior, and the first attack on Euria consisted of ordinary people who were rightfully part of the Zeon camp but not the Great Desert Wolves.

Soon, Callian pulls out what's in his pocket and throws it out in front of Alan. Allen, who recognized what it was, asks with a blunt face.

"You had the same thing."

It was two pebbles, not what Kalian was holding. The reason I could see it at first glance was that the color was clearly different.

Both dark grey and lighter grey pebbles looked exactly the same as what Kalian had except for the color.

"One was destroyed. My heart is broken."

I said it as if it was nothing, but the meaning behind the words was not so light. The other two were in the heart.

"Once you finish your life, you can't use it twice, so you don't have to touch another body."

Alan sighs briefly.

Khalian speaks as if he hadn't heard it.

"I don't know anything else."

After hearing that, Alan walks in front of Callian. And since they haven't all grown up yet, I still hold Callian smaller than Alan in my arms.

"Well done."

Then he tapped her on the back and said,

Because it sounded like it was soothing a real 15-year-old child, Calian, buried deep in Alan's arms, laughs a little.

"· · · · · · · Yes, sir."

The hand that tapped his back, his chest, was so warm.
