How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 68. Sleep (4) >

There were two incoming footsteps.

There is a voice of confident shoes, and a voice of silence in the hallway. The latter was what I had heard earlier today, but the other one was unfamiliar. However, it was not so difficult to figure out whose step it would be, so the water guard commander Tribune quickly got up. Then I opened my mouth to the one sitting in front of me.

"Here comes His Royal Highness, the Duke of Siegfried. Rise."

A man who stood in front of the Kalian whom I had met a long time ago and did not stand up, show examples, or even show proper respect. The man who acted because of the pain of the injured arm before the arm was cut, because of the sensation of loss after the arm was cut, and most of all because he was scheduled to be executed for touching the royal body. A man who was later understood instead of being punished by Callian.

Norton Ramirez stands up without a word this time. Then, as you enter the dark room together, you look down at the two of you.

"I meet His Royal Highness and the Duke. This is Tribune Peat, Guard Commander Cairosis. And this is Norton Lamirez from Whitlin territory."

The tribune greets you.

Léric approaches and takes a step off the chair where Plants will be seated. Plants sits there, greeted with a nod in a seemingly blurry motion.

'Kalyan. Where is he?' '

'In the capital, near Anancha. According to him, Sir Hill confirmed that there is a place where he suspects that he may have forced the smell of blood off of several people while searching the area. This is consistent with his statement. Lord Hill said that the smell of one man's blood, Prince Kalian's blood, was cut off on the way to Anantia.'

'· · · · · · · Anancha. Maybe it's where the nobles live.'

"Yes, that's right. '

'I don't know where it is.'

'If I could call someone higher than you, I would tell you myself. If you don't meet them in person and you send Balkan wizards to Aenansha to search the house,'

'See you. Now.'

'· · · · · · · OK.'

Plants recalls a conversation he had just had at the palace, waiting for Demirea to sit down and leaning at her back. I crossed my arms and twisted my legs.

In short, everyone here was in a position that would be uncomfortable except for one Plants.

Plants raised their heads in grief, regardless of whether or not they cared. Then the tribune speaks with a cautious voice.

"Something suspicious has happened in Whitlin territory recently, and I've come to the capital to speak to Prince Kalian in person. Then I encountered a stranger here who I had seen in Whitlin territory, and I found Prince Kalian while I was chasing him. I know where Prince Kalian is, but as I preached the word, he is not opening his mouth."

Plants nods at the words of the Tribune, his eyes turning to Norton. You look down at Norton from a distance for a long time and open your mouth.

"Tell me."

Short command.

Without your permission to sit down.

Not only do they know how much this behavior of royalty, of course, deprives others, especially the commoners, but Demirea, who considerably discriminates, did not say much about him.

It was in the duc's decree a while ago. Ronan Site, a knight who came up to the capital briefly along Kalian and Plants, told me that 'two royal families and Arsen had stopped for a meal at a popular restaurant'. He also told me from Slayman that 'the two of them went to the brewery to buy liquor themselves.' Of course, even if you don't say it, you already know that Plants is not normally such an authority figure. So I was thinking there must be a reason.

Plants' eyes were still on Norton. The word "higher man" meant that he should speak properly because he walked directly like this.

"· · · · · · · Where can I start, degradation."

Norton's voice is somewhat divided towards Plants.

Plants slowly turns his head, looking at that face for a moment. Then you give a low voice to the Tribune, standing a little distance from Norton.

"I came because I have a mouth. You have a head."

You don't need a head to filter out what you want to hear. Ask questions, listen to answers, and make fun of your mouth because you don't need a head to understand.

Without permission, I skipped the reprimand for asking the royal family questions.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty."

Instead, the Tribune sends an apology to Norton.

"From beginning to end. Don't forget to put up anything you've been hiding."

Norton closes his eyes for a moment and opens his eyes. After that, I shut up again for a while. I thought that for a moment with the head that I didn't have to.

One side of Plants's lip twitches as he looks at it. Knowing it or not, Norton heads toward Plants. You're not allowed to look him in the eye, so you start talking to him, looking at Plants' arsenic mouth.

"· · · · · · · If I tell you,"

"That's enough."

Glug glug!

The sound of the chair purposefully pushing up echoes through the silent room. A slightly startled tribune looks at Plants and Demirea wakes up together without a word. Norton stood up and looked down at the tip of his shoe.

"If there's anything else I need, I'll let the guard commander know."

"Yes, Your Majesty. I will."

Without asking why, a tribune turns and looks at Plants. And I stuck my tongue out in it.

In the royal court, it was because of that thought, rather than teaching people how to deal with people.

'The person who is in front of my older brother, who is in front of me, is saying that he is picking words out of anxiety or caution or calculating them. Simply nervous people have dry lips and frequent neck movement. You don't have to be so vigilant in your conversations with them. I was just afraid to leave a tall man in front of me, so I think it's enough to be comfortable.'

In fact, it was not a royal.

Of course, it was Callian.

'Cautious people often refer to the conclusion of a story first. because I've already got something in mind. Your voice is even and your face is calm. Your eyes don't move much and you don't do anything unnecessary. Baron Melpire Pollun, the late Reddington who works with him, and Earl Eiprin, who leads the knights' union. I don't have to be wary of such people, but I need you to listen carefully and treat them as well. '

The royal court taught him etiquette, and Silica taught him how to rule. Of course I haven't forgotten. I am familiar with it and writing it in my own way. However, what Plants was describing was not polite and not governing.

'The problem is the latter. Do not listen to the conditions before the story. If you're trying to fool yourself with something other than what you need, say no. Cut and deal with horses. You can get out of your seat. Don't forget that you always have control of the conversation. If you swing it at the other person's tongue, it won't help you as long as it's an important story.'

How not to lose, how to win, how to handle.

How to deal with it.

I was reminiscing about what Kalian had taught me.

- Jubbuck, Jubbuck.

I can't deal with people with words, so I think Serenty will beat us with one fight. The mild Plants, who had learned his brother's teachings well, either by hand or by mouth, moved their feet as if they had nothing else to see. A swift follow-up of Raedric steps to the door first.

"Maybe he was wrong to call his brother."

"Ramirez, shut up."

You hear Norton's words from behind, and the sound of the Tribune telling him not to.

- Jubbuck.

I continued walking without showing any other reaction.

It continued to speak towards such plants.

"Sometimes I know my brother is better than my brother."

"I told you to shut up. Why are you being so rude? Have you forgotten what this place is like?"

- Jubbuck.

Plants' feet do not stop.

You move your feet toward the door as if you didn't hear anything.

"If it was Prince Kalian at this point, he would have told me first that he would protect his body if I took out what he needed. I, Lord Plants, have come to hear Prince Kalian's whereabouts. What will I believe?"

- Awesome.

The stuffy words continue to make Plants' feet stop.

And of course, you can't deal with it all in one way, because everyone is so different. There are always exceptions. That's when you take care of it. '

The last words of insensitive teaching are catchy in my ears.

"The man who lost his arm to my brother came to help me find him. I don't know what I'm supposed to believe and give it to you."

- Jubbuck.

The steps that had been moved again came to the open door.

Plants looks at him.

Leek, who looks down, reaches out for the door. But I took my hands off it and turned my eyes to Plants. Then I whispered to Norton in a voice I couldn't hear.

"Decrease · · · · · · · · ·. It's better to ask him once more if he knows where the prince is. It's also a way to search and find, of course, but then time."

"He's at the Marquis of Brissen. What more should I ask?"

Plants says he's headed for Raleigh.

Norton says nothing. Plants opens his mouth again to Raedric, who is suddenly the Marquis of War.

"I don't know if he saw someone take my brother into the palace or if he found out about the situation that he didn't tell me about, but the person who said he would tell me what he found when someone who was on my brother's side came and said something to me. You said you knew my brother's whereabouts, and now you're protecting him. I thought you said you were on guard. That means Brycen is involved. You don't know me. You're probably keeping an eye on me. If he's that dull in the news, there's no way to tell if the owner of the house has anything to do with Brycen's house."

The reason the sound following the description was not small, Norton's gaze from a distance reached Plants.

"Except for Grey Brissen's house."

Since Plants' quick thinking never happened for a day or two, the familiar Raleigh looks just like that without any other doubts. There, I did not take it out because I had many ears to hear that it was already a place where His Highness had studied. It's not Plants that doesn't know that.

Soon he spoke to Demirea, who was beside Plants.

"Put in all the Siegfried knights. Don't close the door."

"Are you worried Siegfried will get in the way of me?" "

"· · · · · · · Yes."

"Yes, of course. I will wait comfortably without knowing anything."

"Got it."

Demirea nods, smiling slightly.

Then you open your mouth to the Tribune.

"Him. Since you're a guest from Prince 3's estate, my betrothed, if there's nothing else I can do, I'd like to invite you to my house for dinner. I'm sure it's fine."

"Ah · · · · · · · Yes, absolutely. No problem."

You have no reason to refuse to protect yourself in Siegfried. The Tribune replied happily.

"Thank you for your concern."

"No, Duke."

He just opens the door, confirming that the conversation is short-circuited.

Plants sets foot first and Demirea and Léric follow. That again, Jubbuck Jubbuck. The sound of both feet disappears as they travel along the dark corridor.

* * *

Somehow.

I had a dream about dead Lennon.

Peek-a-boom grey taps his waist and looks around. You see a wave of white robes slamming behind Prince Standing face-to-face, and knights of silver armor standing a few layers behind him.

It is disadvantageous without even counting.

No. Do I need to count? Alan Manasil, who's standing behind the prince, has made it hard to tell the difference in power.

Grey opens her mouth, barely able to make out a smile.

"I don't know if you know, Your Grace."

"I know."

· · · · · · · You know what.

Grey smiles again, putting his face in close proximity.

It's been a long time since I've been able to face Plants and the troops standing behind him. Le Maine may have really tolerated this march, but if it was a force that took Le Maine by surprise, Elazar would come to resolve this situation first, so he was thinking of holding on for a while.

"Just a moment, please."

"No, open it."

Grey sighs silently, her eyes closed.

The day they met. Maybe it was Plants who hid her insides and held Calian's hand. For now, I was trying to stop the day and open myself up and take a look at Plants. It was to find out what was inside that I had hidden it.

I changed my mind so much that I touched Rasheed, his son, so Rasheed set a trap and almost caught the wrong prince. I didn't realize that Lennon had stepped out of Grey's dream and gone back in.

"But degrade. You already are."

"Captain Manasil."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"I need you to open it for me. Is it possible?"

"Should I open the door, or should I open the walls and roof to make it a little easier to look around? Let me know and I'll try."

If not, it's also a way to open his chest.

Somehow, Allen's words seem to blend in, and Plants nods and makes a decision.

"Everything." "

"No, I'll get the door."

Grey, who knows the situation, stops Plants from speaking.

"As I said before, Prince Kalian is not in here. If I get repeatedly checked for missing things, I can do this."

"I hope I don't either."

Alan's voice cuts off Grey's words.

Alan looks at Grey with a soft smile.

"If I could just confirm Prince Kalian is in here. I'll have to work hard to find the culprit and burn him from the bottom of my hands."

I thought I'd put an end to the whole thing right now, but I endured it. If you don't think you can handle the anger, I was just holding back thinking about what Plants told me to calm down in the palace.

Eventually, the words silenced Grey.

Soon Alan takes a step forward. I didn't touch her, I couldn't see her, but I stepped back, leaving her body firmly pressed against something.

When the Knights of Brissen saw it, they unravelled the network of defenses that were surrounded by layers. And in the meantime, a few people made their way through.

- Chin up!

Kyrie, holding the sword back, raises an arm in front of her. The plant nods its head and moves its feet. Lenan was once home to Brysen, and now he sets foot directly into the fortified castle that had just become a monument.

By wiping out everyone associated with Brissen and leading the rest of the force alone.

* * *

Adelia frowns, silent for a moment.

Now it's because of the obvious buzziness in Kalian's ears.

Adelia opens her mouth, looking at you in distress.

"Can I run away?"

I didn't need another word.

Kalian grins.

I wanted to see you.

"Can you run away?"

"Alone, as you wish."

"Go, then. I'll explain it to the teacher."

"If you're at risk of being alone, I'll give you a few more minutes. That's about it. I'll help you."

"If you try to hide, you won't find me either. Don't worry about it."

Yeah, he was a sodmaster.

Adelia nods, thinking about what she forgot for a moment. She takes something out. Adalia's words continue as Calian raises his head to accept it.

"Send a letter to the border when it opens."

It was a paper with coordinates on it.

Calian, concerned about the situation outside, simply memorizes the coordinates and burns them. Adelia speaks as if she was determined to go towards such a Khalian.

"I have to pay you back for saving me. Otherwise, I have to come back here again."

"Got it."

Adelia rises from her seat.

I felt like using my hands instead of magic to purge the dirt off my clothes. Then I stretched out my arms and waist and opened my base. Then he quickly hid his appearance as if it had all been hallucinations.

Saying that the smell of blood and vitality will spread as soon as he disappears, so tell him to prepare for a fight, be careful, and see you next time. Not a single word of it.

I feel like it really is Adelia, and I've lost Callian, who erased my wits in response to Adelia's disappearance.

But then again, wait a minute. Calian straightaway wipes the smile off his back. I cut a few times and stood up straight, not knowing how and where I was stabbed. I didn't intend to move quickly to spread the smell of blood, so I held my breath as long as I could and looked outside while hiding in the shadows.

Then one moment, stand still.

"Kirrie."

And quiet.

If Allen were here, he would have called his knights with him.

We don't know what's out there. In fact, I don't know exactly where this house is. But if Alan was here anyway, it would have been better if he and Kiri had not been discovered by the Knights of Bricen. They must have a plan. By the way, they must have brought Balkans, but they didn't bring an army without a plan.

· · · · · · A, no way.

I put the anxiety aside first.

Instead, there are a number of patient plans on what to do when you meet Alan you haven't seen for a long time, how his disappearance will spread in the future, and when to deal with Rashid Brissen. When I thought about it and erased it and looked around.

- Jubbuck.

You hear someone walking in.

I was glad to hear it first.

- Jubbuck.

Soon, I frowned.

- Jubbuck.

After that, I sighed deeply.

Glad the peas didn't starve to death and come all the way here.Worried that you didn't bring an army without a plan, but then I remembered that the peas were also irrational people. Then I sighed.

I took it out.

- Tak.

I don't know if you know what's going on inside that complex.

Plants, who had walked all the way to the deepest part of the mansion, stopped. And I looked at Callian for a long time. Even though it's alive, I look at it long enough to see if it makes sense.

"Do it."

You throw a short horse at Calian, who still hasn't said anything.

"· · · · · · · What."

"Apologize."

Just in case you're mistaken, I'm not here to save my brother, I'm here to apologize. A horse with such an explanation comes back.

Calian nods, smiling in relief.

And I opened my mouth.

"I don't want to."

Plants looks annoyed. Calian smiled at it and said.

"I won't leave you alone, so if you're alone, you didn't keep your promises, so you didn't apologize to each other."

Calian says, "It's either me or you who came back to life because I've become weaker."

"About 30 years from now, Or 50 years from now. It's the evil god of Serentigo, and if I forget it all, I'll lose my mind. All I have to worry about is going hunting tomorrow, sitting at home watching books, eating cows, eating pigs at night. By the time that's all that's left. I apologize at that time."

You'll have to be alive to apologize.

That's quite a promise.

"If I don't."

"I'll take care of it."

"Okay."

Plants nods.

Neither of them agreed to apologize, nor accept an apology. No, I don't.

I postponed it a little bit, maybe 30 years, maybe 50 years.
