How To Live In A Different World

Episode 56: The Rare Beast? Part 9

We saw the cave entrance for an hour from the top of the slope, but Kobolt and the others never even showed up.

So me and Cain went down to the cave entrance and checked around.

"Nothing."

Cain says so, setting up a newly equipped, two-handed Battleax to guard the area carefully.

"Um, I didn't see it well in the dark, but a good number of Kobolts may have been buried alive in the dirt sand"

"Whoa, so you're saying that Queen Cobolt did it with you?

"Isn't that right? If that were the case, the Kobolts would never be gone so beautifully."

"Oh, shit, Zane."

We looked around, but we couldn't find anything but the remains of Kobolt.

Two of us go back to the front of the cave and check the entrance crushed by the dirt and sand.

Out of the dirt sand that filled the entrance, the hand of one muddy cobolt protruded gnarly, indicating plausibly that he had not made it out in time to escape.

"I wonder how many cobolts you could have played"

"At least ten of them would be in the dirt because the highco bolts were pressing in front of the entrance to the first hall. I mean, even if you quote less, you'd be sure of about three high cobolts and about 30 cobolts and 50 child cobolts. Out of the way, the high cobolt could be wiped out."

We're at the cave entrance, and sometime we'll sit back and discuss this crusade achievement.

"What a surprise!

"Fair enough. I feel like I just got lucky..."

"So what are we going to do, brother?"

"I think it would be nice to go back to the village once. Then he comes back here again and asks the village chief to borrow manpower to collect the treasure that Kobolt has siphoned in. And I was wondering if it was a patrol in the woods until I found out I was somewhat safe."

"... well, that's right. Okay. Let's do that."

When Cain said that, we went back to Mooies on the slope and started walking in the direction of the village.

In the end, he arrived safely to the village without encountering Kobolt at all on his way home.

It was late at night when we arrived in the village, but as soon as we entered the village, the village chief greeted us.

And I was to explain the end of this one from Cain at the village chief's house.

"... I mean, the nest hole. Oh, did you have a strong type of child called High Cobolt or Cobolt Queen?

"That's what I mean."

"Well, I'm sure it's even more troublesome. So you crushed it at an early age? That's good. Good."

"It's just a shame, but I think Queen and some Cobolts are still somewhere in the woods,"

"Oh, wow. Are you saying it's not over yet?

"That's right. So for the time being, they're going to tell me where the cobolts around the village are going to come out, and we're going to check on the smudges."

"That's right. Thank you."

"So I need someone from the hunter to show me where Kobolt is likely to come out"

"I got involved. I'll be ready,. Yes!"

"Also, please, I found a trophy in a cave in Kobolt, so I'd like you to have three powerful villagers and three loading robbers ready to take it home."

"Loot. Well, if that's the case, you seem cheap. We'll be ready by noon tomorrow."

"Thank you very much. Well, I'm tired today, so I'm off in my room."

"Oh, thank you. Well, well, well."

Cain's status report is over, and when we got back to the room, it was easy to get rid of the dirt, and then it turned out to be Batanchu.

◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Because of the nervousness, all four of them were completely asleep until after noon.

The village chief, as I asked him, had prepared the villagers and the loba.

We got ready for another adventure and headed all the way back to Kobolt's cave.

Once on the road, he was raided by a large demon resembling an ostrich named Kruku.

But instead of being our enemies with renewed gear, they turned out to be roasted chickens in return and vice versa.

"This bird is good."

Cain walked and, after eating the boned meat mushamsha seemingly well, threw his bones into the pawn and bush.

"Be a little more nervous! It's not weird when the Kobolts come at us."

I pay attention to strengthening.

"Daiji-bu. If you're going to attack me, you're already attacking me."

Saying so, he arrived at the rock at the cave ceiling entrance and exit while Cain was tapping his light mouth.

The area was getting dim.

For safety's sake, I created a large firecracker and used Cain Cui Mooi as an entrance lookout. I took the three villagers and followed the rope into the rocks, tearing apart the roots of the trees and re-entering the cave.

The inside has been more than a day since the battle, so Kobolt's carcass began to crumble and the odor appeared.

All four of them put cloth in their mouths and replaced their masks, pulling them up to the ground almost overnight with what was likely to sell out of the loot in the first hall.

"Uh, Shindo."

"Thank you very much."

Cue offered me a water bottle.

The three villagers also feel like tattoos, nodding in large letters on the ground.

Cain and Mooie split the booty they pulled up into three parts and put it on the back of each loba.

It is unlikely that I can put all of them on board, but if I hold them separately later, there will be no problem.

I was drinking the water from the water bottle and watching.

Then open the luxury iron box at hand and hold the eggs in it to your hand.

The surface of the egg is grey with green spots and even more watermelon stripes in one direction.

I'll put my ear on the egg again and listen to the sound inside.

"Gwe..."

"Ugh, whoa!?

I was surprised and about to drop my eggs for a moment, but I managed to catch them again with criticism before they fell to the ground.

The guy in the egg clearly seemed to have responded to my behavior.

"That, what do you do?

Cui laughed and asked me how it was.

"Huh!? Um, I'd like you guys to..."

Cui looks interesting as she scratches the back of her dog's ear with her fingers polypoly.

"Mr. George, are you going to raise him?

"Well. Sounds interesting. I'm a solo, and I wish I could use it in the future."

"Maybe we'll both have no problem. 'Cause whatever you think about this quest, it's Mr. Yoji's greatest feat."

"Really?... thanks. Well, we'll all talk when we get back to the village."

We waited for the health of the three most tired villagers to recover from the booty pull and returned to the original path.

In the end, there was no raid at all by the Kobolts, no particular problem except that they fought three separate goblins, and it was too late noon when they returned to the village.
