How To Live In A Different World

Episode 65: The Rare Beast? Part 18

"Well, fine. I'll leave it at that."

I decided to do it on a stupid act to prioritize my original purpose.

"Look at this guy."

That said, I slowly unwrapped the mucha that was wrapped around my neck and put it on the table that was in the center of the room. Mucha looks up at my face anxiously from below. Occasionally, I glance at my grandmother and grab my clothes with those little hands.

"What is it?

Grandma is looking at me with her eyes narrowed.

"I picked this guy up by accident somewhere. But I have no knowledge of these demons at all, and I don't even know them in detail. Well, this guy seems to understand my language somewhat, and he won't die because he's eating the same thing as me normally, but I wanted to know a lot about it because there are things to come. So, someone I know told me that I might know something here."

I honestly told him exactly what I was thinking. Expressing your thoughts honestly to the first person you meet can be detrimental in time and in some cases. But if it was Grandma's sister who made the magic wand that was sitting down on her hips, she intuitively thought it might be enough to trust her, and decided to believe her own eyes.

"Ho... Apparently, you're not lying."

Grandma glanced at the light flying through the room, raising her right mouth angle and grinning. Did the purple light that was flying through the room turn blue at any point? And I wondered.

"…… have you noticed? Surprisingly, I like it. That's how they use it."

Grandma read my mind when she saw my expression change.

"I like it! It would be good. You're a guest of the relievers, let's talk about it. So, what exactly do you want to know first?

Grandma pulled the chair at the table and sat down, pointing to the chair in front of me and suggesting that she sit down. I followed the instructions honestly and felt relative mainly to Mucha.

"Right, uh, first of all, what kind of demon is this guy?

I point to Mucha.

"Right. I'm the one who starts and sees, too. Probably, but it's a chimera based on the Naga species. There's no such thing as a black guy in Naga, let alone a feather."

When I said that, Grandma stuck with a stick and poked Mucha's wings. Mucha is making a vigilant noise with his wings folded cuddly.

"Naga species? Chimera? I'm sorry, but I don't really know anything about that area, so I'd like you to tell me..."

When I say so, my grandmother basically gets up from the chair and opens the shelf with the door in the back of the room. And when I brought a book from that shelf, it turned peppery, and I opened a page and showed it to me.

"Naga is a half-man and a half snake demon. They are about the same size as people. Build swamps and live in swamps, carrying out relentless attacks on those that invade the area. They have the same level of intelligence as people and use their own words to fight in groups and, in some cases, magic."

I take the illustration seriously as I listen to the explanation. And when I turned the book over to my hand, there was a back cover I was used to seeing.

"Ah!? I knew it."

That was seven volumes of Erd Miller's demonic book. Turn the book to the full page with your hands in pieces and see what's inside.

"What, you know the book? Don't be a bit abusive. Give it back!"

Because I turned the book into a pepper and looked a little dangerous, Grandma pulled the book with a strong force besides her thoughts and was taken away by Ba.

"Ahhh, a little more!

I stared at the book in front of my grandmother with a remorseful expression.

"Oh, no! This is my business tool. Don't look at me like that."

"Chip!"

I pound my tongue gently, narrowing my eyes and looking diagonally up. Grandma put the book back on the shelf with a shiver, closed the door and locked it tightly. When I close the door, I finally stare and the shelves are lined with flaccid books. It's all the same back cover book.

"I'm not thinking weird!

When I got back to my seat, my grandmother stabbed me in the nail.

"Oh no. I'm not that stupid."

I laughed when I said that.

"Ha, what do you say? But it's unusual, not that I like Viscount Eldo's books."

"Mm, I have a few books, but I have the same one. That's a really good piece of writing. I never get tired of watching it all day, Silomon. In fact, as an adventurer, I don't know if that information is helpful."

Reminds me of the other day's battle with Kobolt.

"Ho, you know how great that book is. Uh, but I'm not selling it. As I said, it's an important business tool for me."

When she said that, Grandma wrinkled between her brows and looked nasty.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

That said, the inside was different and I was unconsciously rubbing one spot with my right index finger as I looked at the table. In the meantime, Mucha held Peta in his right hand and looked at him with a slightly worried face, so he thought back to Hata and looked up.

"So I got some idea about Naga, but what is a chimera?"

"Oh, yeah. Chimera is a magical creature. It is a technique that combines multiple demons using a huge amount of magic and multiple tools under special conditions. Even so, it's not a substitute for everyone, and in fact, I don't really know how anyone creates it."

"Heh, is this guy that precious?"

While I'm good, I feel comfortable grunting and throat when I stroke the tail part of Mucha.

"We demons use many different methods to use demons, but among them the chimeric formula is made easy to use with eggs. Once you decide on your husband, your subordination will be very strong."

"Heh, yeah. Hmm... Oh, and speaking of this guy, I used magic."

"I don't know that either. I can grasp magic, but I'm not very good at it. Honestly, chimeras are special in many ways, and common sense of common demons doesn't work. We just have to ask the person who created the details directly."

As such, Grandma gestured that she was lifting her shoulders with her palms facing up.

"Um, well. So you don't know any more. Sure, this guy was in a box, but there were only eggs there. There was nothing to explain."

I put my arms together and remember that time, but nothing seems like a clue.

"All I know is how to handle Naga in general. Even so, there is nothing special about it. Basically, the lower body is just called a snake, and it feels much like a human being."

"I see, I see. Thanks for everything. I'll leave it to you today."

I have been talking to my grandmother for quite some time and a few customers came into the store. Something tells me I'm waiting for the end of the conversation, so I decided to cut it off.

"If only there was a demon who wanted something other than that. I'll make it a lot cheaper."

Grandma says so, making a circle with her thumb and index finger and waving gently.

"Yeah, I get it. Say hello then."

When I said that, I took a seat. After all, I wasn't sure anything special about Mucha this time. But I had a harvest that was too much for me. In the future, I will be traveling to this store frequently. Whatever, the encyclopedia of demons sits in the back shelf of the store...

I laughed and tried to leave the store, but went back to the store as if I remembered.

"Oh, yeah. What's the name of this store?"

"This is a Leitesian demon dealer. Because my name is Leitesia."

When she said that, for some reason, Grandma went around and did a wink.

"Ugh..."

Seeing that, my chest was starting to get upset.
