Episode 166: Gabriel's Leap

Slightly back in time. Gabriel came all the way to a cave in the human realm.

It has come out before, but this is a cave where Gabri was collecting humans as sacrifices for the resurrection of phantom beasts. But Gabri, disgusted by the distracting task, threw it out where the 26 gathered.

Those 26 are still being held captive in this cave. These humans should have been used because they abandoned the Fantasy Beast Resurrection, but Gabriel thought there were other things worth using and didn't let them go.

"Oh, thank you. I don't suppose you let anyone get away with it, do you?

Gabri speaks casually to the three junior angels who were keeping an eye on the cave.

"But Dear Gabriel!

"Yes, even one!

The junior angels showed obvious upset as soon as Gabriel appeared. As if he had done something backwards in confidence with Gabri.

"... ahem?

Gabri peeks into the cave and realizes that the humans are eating vegetables and fruits. And in the hands of the lower angels, vegetables and fruits as well. It was obvious that they were feeding the humans.

"Hey. What the hell is this guy talking about?

"Sa, I think it's just cruel not to feed you anything all the time - ugly!?"

Gabri grabs that junior angel's throat and pushes it straight against the rock wall. It was the mouth that was laughing, but the madness seeped into its eyes.

"Who told you to do that? You can even feed them human sand. Don't piss me off too much...?

"also... sorry...!!"

"... okay. I feel good today. I'll take a big look."

When Gabri takes his hand off the throats of the lower angels, he approaches the humans. The humans gaze at Gabriel with a terrorized look.

"Don't look so scared. Let him have a good dream. I just want to. Spells [Sleeper Whispers]"

Activating [Sleeper Whispers], one of the spells taken from Raphae, Gabri put all the humans on the spot to sleep.

"Nghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh You were right to keep the humans together."

Smiling satisfactorily, Gabriel stomps and crushes the fruit that has rolled at his feet.

"La, Lady Raphae's spell? What is that...?

There is no way to know, such as the fact that Gabriel killed Raphae and took away his power, the lower angel asked with a tempting look.

"Oh? At the minute of a junior angel, you throw an inquiry at me, the Seven Star Angel?

"Yes, no! Excuse me..."

"More than that, Temei and the others, get the humans out of here. I don't know because these guys are important customers of the party that will start soon......!

…………

There was no way I could disobey the orders of the Seven Star Angels, and the three lower angels had to snort.

Gabri then returned to the "Sanctuary of the Sky" to complete a certain preparation, using [Moment Move] to return to the castle where the Seven Star Angels are currently based.

Originally Gabriel could not use [instantaneous movement] or anything else, but now Gabriel had won various spells such as [resentment sword] [transformation] rather than just the spells that Raphael possessed. [Momentary movement] is one of them.

When Gabri opened the castle door, Kiel waited there with a rugged look.

"Hey, the plan is going well! It's rather too good and scary. If we get this far, the king will be buried."

Without even paying attention to Kiel's condition, Gabri is in a good mood to report it.

"... an operation to capture hostages and lure out the king? A soothing imitation..."

For Kiel, who believes in fighting squarely, whoever his opponent is, Gabriel's way didn't feel very good.

"You're welcome to sigh. The late Seal said," If you want to bury the king, you don't choose the means. "I'm just imitating it."

It was an obvious trick, but Kiel also understood that Gabriel was such a man, so she was no longer willing to let him withdraw.

"Come on. I'll finally get Temei and Micah to work from here on out when I'm ready down there. If my predictions are correct, the King will try to recapture Henri with the two remaining Four Extinct Demons. I can't help myself."

"... you think the King will go that far to save just one subordinate?

"Of course not. That's what that guy is. You must know that very well, don't you, Temei?

…………

Kiel arms up and silences. Kiel had also heard that the King had previously boarded the 'Sanctuary of the Sky' in a human figure to save a human woman named Serena. It's impossible for a man like that to abandon his subordination first. Kiel also agreed on that point.

"I don't know, but you're not supposed to come here and say, 'I knew I stopped cooperating' or something, are you?

"... don't worry, I don't have two words. I'm sure I regret riding your mouth truck early, but now I'm gonna give you priority for what you really are as a seven-star angel."

"Nffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff."

Gabri passes beside Kiel with an invincible grin.

"... where are you going?

"It's up to Henri. I'm also bored to just wait until the king arrives. That's all the upper balls, it's more rude not to get your hands on them, isn't it?

"Wait."

Kiel stops Gabriel and stares sharply.

"Oh, come on, look at me like that."

"Don't imitate the Seven Star Angels in such a way as to hurt their possession. I will not allow them to be demons."

"I don't insist. No, Seal said something similar. I don't care what you hold back for this period."

"Right. Then we'll stop it with force, but you don't mind?

Gabri tongues annoyingly. It is of no benefit to Gabriel, such as contending with Kiel in advance of a showdown with the King.

"Uh, it's a joke, joke. I'm just gonna go talk to Henri about the king for a second. Damn, don't you get the humor..."

With a bumpy complain, Gabriel left for Kiel.
