Duncan casually opened up a demon cavity, looked at the embryonic structures of various demon forms inside, and a wisp of evil Magic Power emerged on his giant palm. The next second, the abyssal worm before his eyes began to change.

In the hands of fiends, the soul worm can ascend to become the gene tree of a Yugoloth demon.

In the hands of demons, the soul worm is injected with the Tanari gene tree of the Bottomless Abyss.

In the hands of devils, the soul worm is transformed into a unique Baatezu gene tree.

Three evolutionary routes.

Their origin is a unique modification surgery on the soul, among which the Lord of Hell, Asmodeus, borrowed the craftsmanship of the Obiris demon, and Duncan is now deciphering their genetic editing codes.

The original Tanari demons were handcrafted collector’s editions.

For example, the Demon Prince Wolf Spider Misca, the two-headed baboon Di Maoge Gen, and later Tanari demons were mass-produced after the stabilization of the gene tree, among which the Balor is a standout of the Tanari race.

But the threshold for the Balor is too high, and it is hard to tame, so Duncan needs a middle-tier substitute.

He wants to twist the chaotic nature of demons and create an orderly branch of demons.

"The Lord of Hell, Asmodeus, can create orderly and stringent devils from the same soul."

A trace of excitement flashed across Duncan’s face. He swiftly copied the stable gene sequence, and he would find ways to further enhance the subsequent capabilities, including expanding higher evolutionary sequences and abilities to burn Magic Power, strengthen limbs, and offer sacrifices.

This successful step was significant for him.

The two-headed baboon Di Maoge Gen created creatures like hunting spiders and made purgatorial manta rays his clan.

Duncan being able to create the primordial form of an Abyssal Hellhound also meant his control over the demon law had advanced, and he could already attempt to decipher and reshape the evolutionary gene tree of the Tanari demon.

"Indeed, I still need to kill some Obiris demons to acquire their abilities."

The Abyssal Hellhound was running around Duncan’s figure. As one of the successfully modified primordial forms, its potential was immense, able to withstand more soul energy infusion.

More importantly, it obeyed orders.

As Duncan attempted to inject Spell Resistance into the Abyssal Hellhound before him, he suddenly seemed to have sensed something and looked up towards the direction of the Silver Palace.

The figure of Trasia - Chromatic Sense appeared.

She landed proactively at the sight of Duncan, then carefully approached, avoiding the patrolling Mother Worm on the outskirts, curiously inspecting the Abyssal Hellhound about a meter long before her, saying in surprise: "Is this the new demon created by the lord?"

Duncan needed genuine Demon Guards.

He was dissatisfied with the creations of the Obiris Demon Lord – except for the few high-tier demons, like the Balor and Marilith, he found other demon forms unsatisfactory.

Duncan needed a demon army of his own.

Otherwise, in a comprehensive war against other Divine Spirits, especially during Divine Country wars, the present third-generation Tanari demon forms could not possibly support the arduous task of annihilating Divine Countries.

The Enchanting Demon was ready to use, and their nature was close to fiends, pretty obedient, and compliant.

But other demons, especially middle-tier ones, were too trashy, completely uncontrollable, and Duncan needed the Burning Legion.

Mortals could transform the abyss into the Holy Hall.

With his thoughts open, Duncan was finding ways to circumvent the Abyssal Will and create a demon army obeying commands, weakening their chaotic nature.

The source of Tanari demons’ chaos was the madness of the Obiris demons; if it could be erased, they could be remodeled.

Trasia sized up the Abyssal Hellhound before her, unable to figure out the use of such a canine demon, with strength not even matching other low-tier demons. But since it was Duncan’s work, she dared not to speak rashly. As long as the demon incarnation had things to do and did not compete with her for ruling power, she was more than happy to see it, even willing to serve wholeheartedly back and forth for it.
