The so-called Subordinate Demon Lord is a legendary demon who cannot completely conquer a single level or who relies on a formidable lord. Such entities are numerous in the Bottomless Abyss and are not considered major figures. If a Balrog were to pledge allegiance to a certain demon lord, it could likely gain the status of a Subordinate Demon Lord.

A true Demon Lord must at least conquer a certain level of the Bottomless Abyss.

This towering Great Bull Demon named Auvance constantly patrols the borderlands of Azgregate, following the orders of the Dark Monarch, Glazest, to protect traveling merchants from the few bandits in this realm. Glazest also issued a ban prohibiting any theft against those marked by the Six Fingers. Any creature refusing to comply with this ban would be obliterated by Auvance.

This clumsy and rigid beast also demands tribute from those it protects, most of which is delivered to the treasury vault of the Silver Palace.

The Dark Monarch’s territory is one of the few trade points protected by law.

This is also a bold attempt by the Goddess of Wealth, Waukeen, who, by collaborating with the Dark Monarch, established an inter-plane trade platform in the Bottomless Abyss.

Once it’s collected the protection fee, it won’t bother the convoy and will escort them for a distance, until they reach the nearest town, where there’s also a brothel of Enchanting Demons; it’s going to find some amusement.

However, upon parting, one of the Iron Cavalry Demons suddenly galloped towards the town, perhaps to deliver a message.

Glazest’s former rival, Adimachus, once ruled a realm named Skull Pillow Domain (Layer 507), and Asas played a key role in the latest efforts to overthrow Adimachus’ rule, making the adversary fall victim to his extraordinary charm (seduction).
