"I saw with my own eyes as he slaughtered Asas’s Demon Commander."

The enemy of an enemy is a potential ally.

Trasia wore a thoughtful expression, her skin slightly pale, tall and slender. Unlike other offspring of the Dark Monarch, her appearance was more akin to a human, except the dark magic markings on her skin, a favor from the Bottomless Abyss, a reserve Demon Lord.

"Let’s go in then."

Trasia was in dire need of a powerful ally. She glanced at the enchanting mage Marita beside her and saw her nodding slightly. Taking a deep breath, she stepped into the ruins scorched by flames.

All around were serpent trees that had been burned.

This is a plant life with Purgatory characteristics, usually not attacked by demons, but for some reason, the half-demon fighter killed them all.

"Serpent trees have a hint of soul."

"Could he be craving souls?"

Trasia looked up; almost no living things were in sight, and even on the treetop hung the charred corpse of a three-eyed crow. Ahead lay a treehouse turned to ash, surrounded by burned corpses of old crones. On a small hill of piled remains, she finally saw the formidable demon warrior Lavice spoke of.

Hiss!

In an instant, Trasia involuntarily gasped.

When did the Triple Realm have such a powerful demon?

The one standing on the bone heap was comparable to an Elder Warrior, highly demonified. Despite retaining a stern human-like face, he grew two enormous and somewhat exaggerated demon horns on his forehead, his ears turned sharp, and his black hair surrounded by flame spiritual light, akin to the power of a Balrog, yet the flame tinged with a mystical purplish hue, like a warlock’s hellfire.

His broad back lacked armor, instead engraved with magical markings embodying demon law, favored by Abyssal Will, offering protection akin to legendary-level armored skin.

Demon skin was exceedingly tough, featuring a keratin layer comparable to armor.

Muscles hard as steel appeared sculpted from marble, with broad shoulders hosting keratinized demon shoulder guards, purely evolved flesh, unlike any demon form she had seen.

"Could he possibly own the ’Demon’ domain?" Trasia was utterly shocked.

Only mastery of demon domain laws could modify demon biology, creating desired creatures with a Purgatory template.

Di Maoge Gen excelled among them.

The counterpart seemed to be conducting some ritual; Trasia dared not approach, raising her hand to signal others to halt. Approaching now might cause misunderstanding, possibly provoking an attack.

This half-demon warrior stood nearly three meters tall, massive hoof-like feet, frighteningly explosive muscles covering his entire body. He stood within a bone-laid altar, gripping a menacing skull, drawing strands of faintly blood-hued golden light infused into his marble-like form as evil power surged.

"Divine Power?!"

"He’s absorbing the divine power from the skull!"

Trasia couldn’t help but gasp; she surveyed the surrounding ruins and whispered to the desecration priestess Lavice beside her: "Did he kill the Otherworld Divine Envoy of the Ghost Hag Goddess?"

Beside her, Lavice was equally shocked, stiffly nodding: "Probably so."

"Not long ago."

"Our people found him near Alagash."

"All the undead creatures belonging to Ocus there were slain by him!"

Boom!

An invisible force of evil magic expanded in all directions.

Threads of flame spiritual light encircled the grotesque demon’s body, his initially human-like appearance altered; behind the broad back emerged fearsome demon wings, huge black bat wings engraved with magical markings, ending in sharp spikes, keratinized markings spreading across his skin and forming spike-like arm armor along the sides.

"He’s far more than just a half-demon fighter."

"His demon bloodline almost surpasses other higher demons."

Boom!

A terrifying flame storm engulfed the bone-laden ruins as the demon warrior gradually raised his head, easily crushing the skull in hand, having fully absorbed its divine power.

The Otherworld Divine Envoy of the Divine Spirits only possesses about 1 divine power point, making digestion uncomplicated.

An overwhelming aura enveloped everyone.

Even the demon bodyguards beside Trasia dared not look directly at him. Faced with this terrifying half-demon, they seemed to confront a Balrog, no, far more dreadful than a Balrog.

For a moment, Trasia seemed to recall something.

"Death Arena."

"The half-demon fighter who slew the wolf serpent demon Zugnas."

Though his appearance changed, this terrifying aura could only belong to one half-demon.

Not far away.

Duncan slowly opened his eyes, his gaze first sweeping towards the enchanting mage Marita, whose seductive lush eyes showed surprise and a hint of fear. Duncan’s transformation frightened her, as this demon form she had never seen was somewhat akin to a humanoid Balrog.
