Under the awe-filled gaze of countless demons, the Wolf Serpent Demon, Snagg, leaped down from the stands. As it landed, it swung the Beheading Giant Axe in its hand, stirring up a whirlwind that swept the dirt and sand away. Its murky blood-colored eyes fixed on Duncan, the snake head hissing, while the wolf head spoke in a deep voice: "Let me see your limits."

"Demon Warrior!"

Strictly speaking, the Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg was not much different in rank from the advanced Balor Flame Demon before, but as soon as it appeared, Duncan felt an intense murderous aura. The other was the same kind of being as him—a ruthless character that had crawled out of the Corpse Mountain and Blood Sea.

Such beings in the Bottomless Abyss often participated in the Abyssal Blood War.

"That’s right."

"I am also a demon who crawled out from the Blood War, and a general of demons too."

Saying this, the Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg revealed a grim smile, exerting pressure on Duncan through words. As one of the leaders who had participated in the Abyssal Blood War, it knew very well that those Blood War Veterans could not be judged conventionally. Duncan’s expression was grave. Facing the Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg in front of him, he slowly drew another Flame Demon Greatsword. Even the pupils of the deathly still Undead Lich ignited with Soul Fire.

Even the Balor Flame Demons rarely carried two Beheading Giant Swords simultaneously, yet he seemed to wield them as if they weighed nothing. Plunging the two Flame Demon Greatswords into the ground, blood-red runes and faint Flame Spiritual Light immediately surfaced on the blades.

Roar!

The Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg let out a roar, first launching an attack toward Duncan. The Beheading Giant Axe turned into a gust of wind as it moved with its figure, its combat techniques resembling a frenzied dancing monk. The deadly glint tore apart everything in sight, with an eerie power spreading as well.

Clang!

Explosive sparks appeared, then instantly vanished.

Duncan’s figure leapt up, the two Flame Demon Greatswords parrying the enemy’s mad onslaught. Yet in the next second, thin streaks of blood appeared on his chest. Though he had already blocked the opponent’s whirlwind Beheading Giant Axe, the invisible blade still cleaved onto his chest.

"Alert! Alert!"

"Detecting Force Field damage!..."

In the Dimension Space projection page, the human form’s health bar dropped a fraction, and although it was gradually recovering, the enemy’s immunity to Duncan’s combat skills, ignoring his parrying, caused his brows to furrow.

Helical Slash.

Duncan wielded the two Flame Demon Greatswords to push back the Wolf Serpent Demon in front of him. As they distanced themselves from each other, Duncan glanced down at his chest. His demon skin had already been cut open, and although the damage was not fatal, it penetrated insidiously.

"Force Field Weapon?"

Infusing magic power, the Flame Demon Beheading Greatsword in his hand ignited in blazing fire.

Force Field Weapons are like invisible sword energy. Even if Duncan blocked the enemy’s physical giant axe attack, the Force Field energy could still penetrate and cause some damage, similar to how some weapons carry sonic damage—no matter if you successfully block, the sonic damage still causes interference.

The Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg’s attack had two phases of damage. The first phase was a physical slash, while the second phase was the invisible Force Field Blade unleashed by the weapon itself. Duncan could block the first phase but not the second. The best way to counter it was full-body heavy armor, using heavy armor to resist the Force Field Blade, but this would completely sacrifice agility.

"Injured already?" The Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg chuckled hoarsely.

It seemed to mock its opponent, circling Duncan at high speed. Its movements were extremely swift and explosive, creating dust storms in full sprint. As one of the demon generals, its strength, agility, and constitution were extraordinary, with its charm perception granting it powerful magic-like abilities.

The Wolf Serpent Demon suddenly leaped, the whirlwind Beheading Giant Axe stirring up a tempest, slashing toward Duncan like a death whirlwind.

Amidst bursting sparks, the Wolf Serpent Demon’s body was scorched by the flames but quickly regenerated. It suddenly shifted its attack; the hook on the side of the giant axe caught Duncan’s sword blade, and then a great force came, causing Duncan’s Flame Demon Greatsword to fly from his grasp.

Duncan immediately abandoned the Flame Demon Greatsword, dashing forward with a slashing strike. As he lost one Flame Demon Greatsword, he gripped the other sword with both hands, cleaving it into the Wolf Serpent Demon’s shoulder.

Blood sprayed wildly.

The Wolf Serpent Demon Snagg let out a painful howl, and at close range, it attempted to waist cut Duncan, but Duncan evaded with astounding agility. This was high-level instinctive evasion, surpassing physical instincts and bordering on a sixth sense.

Hiss hiss hiss!

The snake head on one side of the Wolf Serpent Demon hissed and struck suddenly. This time, Duncan had no chance to dodge. Taking the hit head-on, the Flame Demon Greatsword and the whirlwind Beheading Axe clashed, leaving Duncan’s abdomen with several wounds as he retreated to create distance once more.
