Beside her, Alevia-Huanmeng quickly stepped forward to help her dress. The atmosphere within the Church had somewhat changed, and even the Mother Superior had to pay slight attention to her influence.

The Cult of Joy was now transforming into the Joy Church.

Consequently, the power of the Mother of Great Bliss was waning while the status of the Joyous High Priest soared.

"No need."

"I’m not going out today."

The Mother of Great Bliss waved her hand lazily, reclining on the sofa, cradling her heavy breasts with both hands, selecting a more comfortable position to lie flat, and whispered, "Lord Duncan hasn’t returned yet?"

Beside her, Alevia-Huanmeng nodded gently, "Yes."

During the days Duncan was absent, thoughts of him filled her, leaving her feeling empty inside.

After lying flat for a while, the Mother of Great Bliss decided to have someone groom and dress her, and she headed towards Duncan’s former residence.

She was Duncan’s maid, and the Mother of Great Bliss would often visit her.

Compared to others, the Mother of Great Bliss was bolder and believed herself to be closer to Duncan, even if there was no one inside, she would push the door open and enter, idly flipping through everything on the desk.

The marks were utterly chaotic, not coherent, and impossible to read continuously. Only a few words she could understand, with numerous arrow-like symbols, and eventually, a peculiar circle and an inverted triangle pattern outside.

"I remember him saying he wanted to completely reform the Church!"

"Suddenly, he stopped mentioning it."

"Were these his plans at the time?"

The Mother of Great Bliss read with curiosity, but unfortunately, with her intellect, she couldn’t quite understand it, let alone Duncan’s spontaneous doodles.

The first page was a tree-like pattern.

At the top was a spell name ’Plant Growth,’ followed by chaotic symbols, then ’Fertility,’ and ’Druid,’ ending with ’Nature.’

Many marks were discontinuous, seemingly a chaotic ecological cycle.

"Was he interested in farming?"

The Mother of Great Bliss seemed to see another side of that man, her eyes filled with curiosity, unable to imagine such a man who loved killing and controlling, secretly fond of farming.

Yet, he loved using brute force to achieve wonders, so farming should be something he’s good at.

"Ploughing through would be fitting."

The Mother of Great Bliss turned the page, understanding only bits and pieces of the chaotic doodles.

The second page was similarly chaotic and difficult to understand, with only some simple characters she could comprehend.

At the top was ’Remove Disease,’ a Divine Technique sign, which she understood as she knew this Divine Technique, a third-circle spell used by mid-low-level Priests, though rarely used, as they preferred to memorize other Divine Techniques.

Contained within the complex triangle doodle were numerous chaotic symbols, the Mother of Great Bliss tried to understand them, but her knowledge was insufficient.

Remove disease, faith, Divine Spirit, followers, etc., formed a closed loop of random symbols with a line in a corner reading ’Free universal healthcare (for followers).’

This was also a pattern resembling an ecological cycle.

"Did he want to provide free healthcare to others?"

"Is this his plan for Church reform?"

The Mother of Great Bliss’s eyes sparkled with light; this indeed seemed feasible, but implementation would be extremely difficult due to the limited number of Priests and their non-free Divine Techniques.

In an unseen realm, the Mother of Great Bliss had a feeling that this man seemed to have planned something truly astounding, yet it suddenly came to a halt for unknown reasons.

On what seemed like a ’Divine Spirit’ doodle mark, there was a large cross drawn over it.

The Mother of Great Bliss more or less guessed that Duncan intended to become an Ascender, given her intellect she couldn’t demand too much, while the Five Fierce Women had long been aware of Duncan’s ambition.

She disliked overthinking, which delayed her enjoyment, the Mother of Great Bliss looked over it and turned another page.

It was marked with ’Knowledge.’

As she turned the pages, the doodle marks became more chaotic and impossible to decipher, only a few remaining readable characters such as ’Knowledge,’ ’Civilization,’ ’Faith,’ and a special symbol ’Earthly Divine Kingdom.’

Beyond this point, the Mother of Great Bliss’s knowledge level could not grasp the content anymore, lacking even characters, just various chaotic images resembling multiple overlapping ecological closed loops.

The last page featured a pyramid-like triangle, relying on her previous understanding, she guessed its meaning.

The symbols marked upon it were Divine Spirit—Faith—Mortal.

The Mother of Great Bliss turned to the last page, seeing an incomplete phrase, her eyes suddenly narrowed, her expression became exceedingly shocked.

"Saint’s Calamity... Twilight of the Gods..."

For the Mother of Great Bliss, the Saint’s Calamity was a recently past event, while Twilight of the Gods was beyond her imagination.
