The Luofan Country, with its vast territory spanning the eastern and western sides of the Lin Hua Continent, had to defend against a land-based beast tide from the west while simultaneously repelling an invasion of Marine Beasts from the east.

The Mu Country, with its smaller territory, initially only had to defend against beasts from the sea. However, the fall of the Peninsula Country extended their defensive lines, subjecting them to greater pressure from the beast tide and causing them to suffer considerable losses as well.

The worst off was the Great Desert Kingdom. It was already vast and sparsely populated, located in a difficult-to-defend desert region. Furthermore, being situated in the west of the Lin Hua Continent, right next to the Lin Hua Country, it suffered severe collateral damage.

When the beast hordes from the Myriad Beast Mountain Range attacked the Lin Hua Country, the Great Desert Kingdom was also caught in the crossfire, forcing them into a continuous eastward retreat.

By the time the beast tide receded, they had already lost half of their territory.

Jiang Pingle then had the Alien Party move in under the pretext of helping the Great Desert Kingdom recover its lost land, but in reality, they seized control and occupied that lost half of the kingdom's territory.
