Chapter 79: Ch 79- Five Billion Yuan
Before Qin Sheng could even realize where Mo Yuan had gone, he suddenly felt something cold against his neck.
Mo Yuan was standing directly behind him, his saber lightly resting against Qin Sheng’s neck.
"Seems like I won, Young Master," Mo Yuan said casually, his voice coming from right beside Qin Sheng’s ear.
Qin Sheng’s entire body froze.
He hadn’t even seen Mo Yuan move.
The surrounding students were completely silent. Everyone stared at the scene in disbelief.
How had Mo Yuan appeared behind Qin Sheng so quickly?
Before Qin Sheng could react, Qin Qiong’s voice sounded across the training area.
"Winner, Mo Yuan."
Hearing this, Qin Sheng immediately became angry.
"I can still fight!"
He turned his head slightly, refusing to accept the result.
However, Qin Qiong looked at him calmly.
"If Mo Yuan wanted to kill you, you would already be dead."
Qin Sheng froze and then his face became pale.
He knew that Qin Qiong wasn’t joking.
If Mo Yuan had really wanted to kill him just now, that saber would not have stopped at his neck.
Qin Sheng gritted his teeth but couldn’t say anything.
Mo Yuan casually withdrew his saber.
"Well, since the winner has been decided, let’s settle the bet."
He looked around before turning toward Wang Baoli.
"Buddy, get me a pen and some paper."
Wang Baoli was still standing there with a stunned expression.
"Huh? Oh, okay!"
He quickly ran to get the things Mo Yuan requested. A few moments later, Wang Baoli returned with a pen and paper.
Mo Yuan took them and quickly wrote something down.
Then he handed the paper to Qin Sheng.
"This is my bank account number. Don’t forget to send the money."
Mo Yuan grinned.
"Five billion yuan."
Qin Sheng looked at the paper in his hand and his face became extremely ugly.
Five billion yuan!
The money wasn’t the problem but he has lost his face and as the young master of the Qin Family, he couldn’t possibly go back on his word.
Mo Yuan patted Wang Baoli’s shoulder.
"Let’s go, buddy."
"Alright."
Wang Baoli nodded, still looking like he hadn’t completely recovered from what he had just witnessed.
Mo Yuan turned around and began walking toward the exit but after taking a few steps, he suddenly heard a strange sound behind him.
"Huff..."
Mo Yuan stopped.
He turned around and looked toward Qin Sheng.
The arrogant young master who had challenged him earlier was standing there with his head lowered.
There were tears slowly forming in his eyes.
Mo Yuan’s eyes widened.
"What?"
He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
Qin Sheng suddenly turned around and ran toward the exit.
He ran so quickly that everyone in the training area was left staring at his back.
The entire floor became completely silent. Mo Yuan looked at Wang Baoli with a strange expression.
"Did that guy just start crying because he lost?"
Wang Baoli’s mouth twitched.
"I... think so."
Even he didn’t know what to say.
The surrounding students were equally shocked.
Nobody had expected Qin Sheng, the young master of the Qin Family, to actually cry after losing a fight.
Mo Yuan shook his head.
’His mentality is really weak.’
He didn’t think about it any further.
Qin Qiong glanced at Mo Yuan before leaving the training floor as well.
The students slowly began discussing what had happened, their voices filling the previously silent training area.
Mo Yuan and Wang Baoli also left the dojo. As they walked outside, Wang Baoli still looked at Mo Yuan strangely.
"Brother Mo, you really surprised me today."
Mo Yuan smiled.
"It was just a fight."
From beginning to end, Mo Yuan had never taken Qin Sheng seriously.
The fight had been nothing more than a small incident to him and now he had also earned five billion yuan from it.
"Not a bad day," Mo Yuan said with a smile.
He had finally obtained the Ultimate Grade Saber Talent he wanted and he had also earned a huge amount of money.
’Time to go home and paste the Ultimate Grade Saber Talent.’
Mo Yuan said goodbye to Wang Baoli and returned home.
As soon as he entered the house, he saw Mo Ran making preparation for the academy.
"Where did you go, Brother?" Mo Ran asked curiously.
"I was just roaming around here and there."
Mo Yuan didn’t explain what had happened at the Qin Family Dojo.
After talking with Mo Ran for a little while, Mo Yuan went into his cultivation chamber and closed the door.
He sat down cross-legged.
’Time to paste the talent.’
He took a deep breath.
"Paste."
The moment he gave the command, a strange energy entered his body.
Pain immediately spread throughout his body. However, Mo Yuan didn’t panic.
He had already experienced this several times before, so he was used to it. Compared to the pain he had experienced in the mysterious trial, this was nothing.
After a while, the process finally ended.
Mo Yuan opened his eyes and immediately brought up his talent panel.
Cultivation Talent: Ultimate Grade
Copy and Paste: Unique Grade
Speed Talent: Ultimate Grade
Saber Talent: Ultimate Grade
Shadow Talent: Standard Grade
Strength Talent: Peak Grade
Regeneration Talent: Ultimate Grade
Space Talent: Secondary Grade
Comprehension Talent: Inferior Grade
Flame Talent: Inferior Grade
Endurance Talent: Standard Grade
Defensive Talent: Superior Grade
Looking at the long list of talents, Mo Yuan couldn’t help but smile.
’Who would have thought that I would have so many talents?’
Mo Yuan then focused his attention on the Boundless Saber Art. The moment he started comprehending it, he immediately noticed a huge difference.
The parts that had been difficult to understand before suddenly became much clearer.
’So this is the effect of the Ultimate Grade Saber Talent.’
Mo Yuan was pleasantly surprised.
’At this rate, I should be able to reach Minor Achievement in around three months.’
Minor Achievement would give the Boundless Saber Art a 9x boost.
That was something Mo Yuan was looking forward to.
’And if I copy that Superior Grade Comprehension Talent, I’ll be able to reach it even faster.’
Mo Yuan then thought about his Saber Intent.
’As for Saber Intent, I’ll ignore it for now and think about it later.’
He still had to be careful because of what Qin Qiong had told him about his Blood Saber Intent.
For now, the 9x boost from the Boundless Saber Art was already enough.
Mo Yuan stopped thinking about it and began cultivating.
Most of his daily routine was now divided into two things. Practicing the Boundless Saber Art and using Beast Blood to increase his cultivation.
Whenever he wasn’t cultivating, he would eat, rest or spend some time with Mo Ran.
Days passed quietly.
One day.
Then another.
Mo Yuan completely immersed himself in cultivation and before he realized it, fifteen days had already passed.
Inside the cultivation chamber, Mo Yuan slowly opened his eyes.
A sharp light flashed through them. His aura had become noticeably stronger.
"Fifteen days already?"
Mo Yuan looked at the remaining Beast Blood beside him.
He smiled.
"Time really passes quickly when I’m cultivating."
A/N- I won’t show all Talents again, as it only increasing the word count. If you want to check his current talents, I’ll add in auxiliary Chapter.
