Chapter 1846 - 999: Dark Lord Grazte
Kane Floating City,
For the sake of safety, Lis returned to Kane Floating City, placing the Demigod Brain Demon Visarion in the Magic Workshop.
With various magic devices prepared by Lis and the support of Kane Floating City, confining a demigod without any power to resist is no problem.
After handing Visarion to the Life Avatar stationed at Floating City, Lis left directly.
Although this battle achieved quite astonishing results, Lis still needs to be cautious of the demons retaliating desperately.
Even though the possibility is small, Lis and the others still decided to be a bit careful.
Anyway, discussions with the Dark Lord can be left to the Life Avatar.
Lis threw the unconscious Visarion into the carefully arranged magic seal.
The energy source of this magic seal originates from the Miserla’s Core of Kane Floating City, and has enough strength to seal a demigod.
Moreover, Lis had already placed numerous seals on Visarion beforehand.
This caution is to prevent the Dark Lord Grazte from secretly making any moves.
After making all the arrangements, Lis then released control over Visarion.
At this moment, Visarion’s ugly brain slowly opened its eyes.
Instantly sensing his situation, Visarion urgently prepared to struggle.
But at that moment, Visarion suddenly stopped his movements.
Visarion’s gaze calmed down from the previous panic, observing the surroundings with interest.
Lis knew that this indicated Visarion’s consciousness had been replaced.
The one taking over must be the Dark Lord Grazte.
Lis sat in front of Grazte, looking at him sealed by countless magic arrays, not in a hurry to speak.
Grazte glanced at the seals on his body, not intending to struggle, but instead said to Lis:
"You are the World Tree Favored, also a future peer of mine."
"At this moment, can’t you show me some respect?"
"I’m sorry, I can’t, Lord Grazte."
Lis shook his head and said:
"Perhaps, once I’ve become a god, I might have that confidence."
Lis showed not a hint of arrogance.
The Dark Lord Grazte stands at the pinnacle of the Endless Abyss.
He may only be somewhat weaker than Demon Prince Demogorgon.
Always dangerous to face such entities, so caution can’t be exaggerated.
"I’m waiting for that day."
Grazte said with a smile.
"Then, Lord Grazte, what do you want to say to me?"
Lis looked at the Brain Demon before him and asked in a deep voice.
Regarding the cooperation Grazte mentioned, Lis had some guesses.
But it still required Grazte to bring it up himself.
Grazte looked at Lis, did not hesitate and said directly:
"I plan to work with you to disrupt Demogorgon’s plans."
Is it indeed this?
Lis looked at Grazte before him, without directly responding.
Previously, he had no relations with Grazte.
Now the Dark Lord seeking him out indicates he has enemies to deal with.
Apparently, the enemies are not in the Endless Abyss, or Grazte wouldn’t need Lis to cooperate.
In Gaia World, perhaps?
However, Grazte should know that Lis, as the World Tree Favored, won’t cooperate against the Church of the Gods.
Then it’s targeting the Abyss Demons?
Being considered an enemy by the Dark Lord requires at least being equivalent in strength.
Such entities are beyond Lis’s capability.
The most likely scenario is Grazte wishing to cooperate with Lis to disrupt someone’s plan or arrangements.
Currently, the only major event in Gaia World is the invasion of the Endless Abyss.
It’s what Demon Prince Demogorgon has been planning for countless years.
Coincidentally, the relationship between Grazte and Demon Prince Demogorgon isn’t great, to say the least.
In truth, there’s always an animosity among the powerful evil gods in the Endless Abyss.
The Abyss Evil Gods can cooperate now mainly to confront the Order Gods.
Also, the Abyss invasion is led by the Endless Abyss Will.
At times like these, they wouldn’t defy the Abyss Will.
But Lis understands the Dark Lord’s thinking.
This Abyss invasion is led by Demon Prince Demogorgon.
While Grazte can gain certain benefits from the Endless Abyss Will, Demogorgon can gain much more.
Under such circumstances, Grazte can’t tolerate it.
Originally, Demogorgon was stronger than them. If successful this time, he’d step over them.
With past experiences of conflicts between evil gods, Grazte expects no good outcomes then.
Moreover, after killing Elf Main God Correlon and triggering the Abyss Blood Battle, Grazte sensed a stronger aura from Demogorgon.
Could he be moving towards Great Divine Power?
This is unacceptable to Grazte.
Thus, Grazte seeks cooperation with Lis.
As long as the Abyss Blood Battle is disrupted, Demogorgon’s plans stopped, Grazte wouldn’t mind cooperating with the gods.
