Chapter 1870 - 1011: The Titan Giant’s Temple
Minos Floating City,
Lis looked at the young man in front of him. Although somewhat surprised, he still nodded and said:
"I am."
"Are you Lord Osiris?"
Lis looked at the young man in front of him. From every angle, this should be none other than the Chairman of the Pan-Continent Mage Association.
Although quite surprised by Osiris’s youthful appearance, Lis showed no disdain.
Because he could not sense any extraordinary aura from Osiris.
Other than that aura which seemed to transcend the world, Lis could not feel any power fluctuation from him.
Lis was quite aware of this situation in his heart.
Indeed, the First Councilman harbors many secrets!
Could he really be the Time Dragon?
The young man turned around and looked at Lis.
After a moment, he smiled and said:
"I am Osiris."
"This is the first time meeting you. I didn’t expect a Fourth Councilman to appear in the association during my absence."
"And with your current strength, you have surpassed Stephens."
"I still have a long way to go."
Lis listened to what Osiris said and responded.
Facing Osiris’s gaze that seemed to pierce through all hidden secrets, Lis felt a bit uncomfortable.
Although Osiris looked extremely young, those eyes seemed to possess the wisdom brewed from the passage of eons, making Lis involuntarily concerned.
Osiris looked at Lis and said with a slight smile:
"It seems you have many questions, but don’t rush."
Osiris gently clapped his hands, and a bronze door appeared before him and Lis.
"Follow me."
Osiris nodded towards Lis and then pushed open the bronze gate and walked in.
"This is..."
Lis was somewhat surprised as he looked at the door that appeared before him.
He did not feel any space fluctuation, but the bronze gate in front of him surely led to some mysterious place.
Even Mr. Stephens, who was skilled in Space Magic, could not completely shield Lis’s perception of space when using Space Magic.
Was it another method?
Or did the First Councilman’s strength far surpass his estimates?
Lis hesitated for a moment, then stepped through the bronze gate too.
His vision twisted, and after a slight sensation of weightlessness, an exceedingly vast palace appeared before Lis.
A thick, cold aura filled the air, and a magnificent bronze palace appeared before Lis’s eyes.
The massive bronze walls reached up towards a hazy dome, and the sturdy bronze pillars crisscrossed, their rugged and grand construction seeming as though crafted by ancient giants, exuding an ancient oppressive force.
The light inside the hall was dim, with tiny glimmers of light scattered that refracted a cold, somber metallic sheen on the icy bronze surface.
Lis stood alone in the vast and expansive center of the palace, making him appear thin and small, like an ant mingling into the grand hall, weak and insignificant.
The bronze walls on both sides of the palace were covered with intricate and extremely complex ancient patterns.
The patterns wound and intertwined, flowing robustly, finely depicting vivid and weighty ancient images.
The mottled carvings overlapped in varying depths, engraved with the long history of the Giant Clan from birth and rise, battles waged everywhere, propagation and continuation, including the fierce battlefields against the giant dragons, the grand festivities where giants congregated, and the passage of time marked by the changes of mountains and rivers...
The cold bronze carried the lost ancient history, with the mottled carvings holding the secrets of sealed ages.
In the silent palace with no superfluous sound, the oppressive air carried the ancient war tension and desolation, the heavy pressure of history overwhelming.
At this moment, Lis quickly realized that he was no longer in the Minos Floating City.
Because Lis was quite familiar with this place, having been here several times before.
This is the giant palace where the Legendary Council of the Pan-Continent Mage Association convenes!
The reason Lis didn’t realize it when he first entered was that the palace lacked the seats belonging to every Legendary Member during the council meetings.
As well as the vague mist obscuring the surroundings and the palace walls.
And it was due to the mist’s disappearance that Lis could finally see the bold yet uniquely beautiful murals on the palace walls.
According to the information recorded on those murals, this seemed to be a palace belonging to the Giant Clan?
Surveying the palace before him, Lis couldn’t help but be filled with emotion.
Back when he became a councilman of the Pan-Continent Mage Association and attended the Legendary Council, he had some interest in that giant palace.
But at the time, he was entering that palace through the magic intelligence life of the association, projecting his consciousness there.
Thus, Lis originally speculated that it was merely a palace virtualized by the magic intelligence life based on the association’s collection of various extraordinary knowledge.
But now, he actually stepped into this palace.
Previously, why hadn’t Stephens and Tarinda mentioned this to him?
Looking at this palace, Lis was sure that it was undoubtedly one of the association’s most important secrets.
After all, according to the murals on the walls surrounding the palace, this was a palace belonging to the Giant Clan!
One must know that the Giant Clan was an extraordinary race that emerged at the dawn of Gaia World, contending with the Dragon Clan to jointly rule over Gaia World.
In the subsequent years, the Giant Clan gradually fragmented, their glory fading.
But there was no denying the brilliant and glorious history and extremely formidable strength the Giant Clan once had.
