Chapter 350: Never-Ending Kisses [M]
Roxanna felt like their kisses would never end. Every time she tried to pull away, Azul would gently draw her back into another kiss. And whenever he was the one to lean back, she would close the distance again, stealing another kiss from him.
[After this, I’ll have to wait three months before I can kiss him again,] Roxanna thought sadly. [Can I really go that long without him?]
At last, Azul slowly ended the kiss. He gently wiped the moisture from Roxanna’s lips with his thumb before saying softly, "You can still kiss the others."
Roxanna pouted. "I know. Of course I’ll still kiss them like always." She lowered her gaze. "But I still won’t be able to kiss you."
She had long since gotten used to having five husbands. Living with all of them had become such a natural part of her life that being apart from even one of them for too long made her heart feel uneasy.
[Is this what people call separation anxiety?] Roxanna wondered. [I don’t like this feeling.]
"I don’t like it either," Azul said.
He wrapped his arms around Roxanna’s waist and gently pulled her into his embrace until there was no space left between them. They were so close they could hear each other’s breathing.
"But why think about that," he whispered softly, "when we can think about something else right now?"
He kissed her again, this time more slowly, while his hands gently wandered over her body.
He slipped off the flowing gown she was wearing, along with the delicate jewelry that draped from her neck to her stomach. However, he left the bracelets on her arms and the anklets around her ankles untouched.
"Did my mother give you these pieces of jewelry?" Azul asked as he placed a trail of gentle kisses along her neck, slowly making his way down to the space between her breasts.
Roxanna’s breathing became a little uneven as she answered, "Yes..."
She continued, "The Devourers stole all of these jewels from your kingdom. But since there aren’t many women here, she gave them to me."
Azul looked at the jewelry decorating Roxanna’s body and recognized that some of the pieces had once belonged to his sisters.
"Don’t you like them?" Roxanna asked hesitantly.
[After all, these jewels belonged to the past...] she thought. [I should have thought about this more carefully before wearing them.]
"I can take them off if—"
"No." Azul gently caught her hand before she could remove any of the jewelry. "They look beautiful on you."
He lowered his head and pressed a soft kiss to the bracelet around her arm while his hand slowly slid from her thigh to her ankle.
His fingers slipped between the anklets, carefully adjusting them so they rested comfortably against her skin. His touch was gentle, almost as if he were handling something precious.
"They suit you," he murmured.
Roxanna looked down at him, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks. "Really?"
Azul nodded without hesitation. "Very much."
His gaze lingered on the jewelry for a moment before returning to her face. The precious gems had once belonged to the royal family of Aquillian, carrying memories of a kingdom that had been ruined. Yet somehow, seeing them on Roxanna didn’t make him feel sad.
Instead, it brought him a strange sense of peace.
His mother had entrusted those treasures to the woman he loved, and now they had found a new home.
"I think..." Azul said softly, lowering his head to place a gentle kiss on her ankle. "They were meant to stay with you."
Roxanna’s eyes widened slightly before she smiled. "I’ll treasure them," she whispered.
"I know you will."
He lifted his head and met her eyes again. There was no sorrow in his expression anymore, only warmth and affection.
Azul leaned forward and placed another soft kiss on her forehead before resting his own against hers, savoring the peaceful moment they still had together before time forced them apart once more.
Azul gently lifted Roxanna into his arms before carefully sitting her on the sofa. He settled her there while lowering himself until his head rested between her legs.
Because they were underwater, Roxanna had no trouble staying in that position. The gentle buoyancy of the water supported her body, so she didn’t need anything behind her back.
"It’ll probably be hard for you to get wet underwater," Azul said softly. "But don’t worry. I can help with that."
A merman’s and a mermaid’s saliva were different from that of land beasts. Since they lived beneath the sea, their saliva could also work as a natural lubricant.
Roxanna closed her eyes and tilted her head back as Azul first latched onto her clitoris. His hands slowly caressed her thighs, sending warm shivers through her body and, for a brief moment, making her forget about the painful goodbye waiting for them.
His tongue flicked her clitoris inside his mouth, making Roxanna’s toes curl. After a moment, his tongue slowly moved lower, gently parting her folds.
He licked her lower lips before finally slipping his tongue into her honeypot.
Roxanna’s fingers slipped into Azul’s soft hair as she closed her eyes, letting herself sink into the warmth of the moment.
The sound of the ocean surrounded them, gentle waves brushing against their bodies as if even the sea wished to comfort them.
Roxanna’s breath hitched as Azul’s tongue moved within her, savoring her like she was something precious. His grip on her thighs tightened slightly, anchoring her against the gentle pull of the tide around them.
"Azul—" her voice came out breathless, unsteady.
He hummed against her in response, the vibration sending a jolt of pleasure up her spine.
A soft gasp escaped Roxanna’s lips as she felt a cool, slick sensation curl around her ankle. Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked down.
Her eyes widened when she saw several tentacles emerging from Azul’s lower back. They were dark blue and looked as though they had minds of their own.
"Azul, these are..."
He smiled awkwardly, looking a little embarrassed. "As you know, my father was a kraken, so... I have these too."
[But why didn’t the tentacles appear on the battlefield?] Roxanna wondered. [Why did they show up now instead?!]
Azul lowered his head even further, his cheeks growing warm with embarrassment.
"That’s because..." he whispered. "Back on the battlefield, I was still trying to figure out my abilities. They only started appearing recently whenever I feel strong emotions... like..." He hesitated before finishing, "...excitement."
