Federal Assembly Senate Military Committee

"Dear visitors! I apologize for having to speak out of my mouth today the very inconvenient truth for you and for the senators of the 'Federal Party'!

The military commission that took place on this day was sometime overflowing with turbulence and strained air.

Members of parliament who were not part of the committee in the committee room and had no say also visited to see how it was going, and the press, of course, were rushing to the hearing room, as were the general public.

They show so much interest because the information was brought to the press by the Commission on this day that certain shocking facts would be told.

"Operation Orchestra, an offensive operation against the Demon King's Army that took place last year, could have been a success had we believed in the military press officers' press announcements. But behind this, it is also true that the Pan-Human Coalition has suffered so much."

It is the middle-aged man whose gray hair has begun to stand out, who will be discouraged and "impeached" as if to give a presidential inaugural speech.

He became a member of the largest opposition party in the Federal Assembly, the Socialist Party, and a member of the Senate Military Committee.

"It would be a well-known fact to your visiting senators, as well as to your audience, that they interpreted this as' a great sacrifice martyred in jihad '. So I want you to look at 215 of the materials that I handed out to you earlier."

He raised the material in his right hand high and opened his mouth to shout in a slightly faint voice at the federal senators in front of him, and at the people who would be behind them.

"The main purpose of Operation Orchestra by the Pan-Humanian Coalition was the Crusade of the Demon King's Army's Leading Demon King. For the sake of confidentiality, this fact was not made public after the operation, after its purpose had not even been communicated to us members of the Military Commission. Regardless, it's a fact I didn't know until I got this material too!

Exactly outrageous, an insult to the duties entrusted to me.

He keeps up his accusations with a voice that he won't say so.

"Why is that? That is nothing more than because it was an extremely inconvenient truth for the military, that it barred the blood and taxes of our federal people without fulfilling the operational purpose of the Demon King Crusade!

The committee room is slightly awkward.

Even members of the opposition "federal party" do not try to hide the expression "I did not know such a thing".

Only a few members of parliament who know the facts turn a blind eye from opposition members who stand on the podium looking abominable.

"This draft operation was originally proposed by the Allied Kingdoms.

But regardless of the solo manoeuvres carried out in his country alone, our country and the republics, empires, negotiating nations, empires, urban alliances, kingdoms and other powerful nations are also borne by each of them. Therefore, we are also qualified to discuss the admissibility of the operation. In fact, there was also skepticism within the Federal Staff.

In spite of that, the Federal Chief of Staff who attended the meeting did not make a big argument, and without picking up their voices, they endorsed the proposed operation without thinking about it!

As a result, 2059 Federation soldiers who participated in the operation lost their honorable lives, and many more were wounded!

In the middle of his speech, he wept.

It is clear to everyone's eyes that it is a lie and a political performance, but when it puts it on a filter called a newspaper or magazine, it is strangely unaware that it is an act.

"It is a clear fact that this can only be regarded as an omission on the part of the military, which has made our military commission known to the world to Parliament, to the people, to their incompetence to belittle democracy!

Make it clear to your heart that the responsibility for the unimpeded scattering of your honorable life rests with the Federal Chief of Staff, who is the representative of the military, and the President who appointed it!

After that speech, the committee room was wrapped in applause and curse and the sound of running a pen.

---

"Absolutely, it's a problem for that old man."

After the military commission, a member of Parliament who left the committee room walks down the hallway and complains to a colleague member of Parliament who walks with him next to him.

Former Lieutenant Colonel Keith Burke, MP of the Federation Party, the largest congregation in the Federal Assembly.

One of the few people who has a seat in the Federal Council who has seen first-hand the figure of Herr Arche, the Demon King.

"That's what I'll say, Keith. The internal documents put out by the Socialist grandfather are indeed authentic. A lot of federal partisans think it's 'credible'."

And dating Congressman Burke's stupidity is also Adisal Bryan, a member of the House of Representatives of the "Confederate Party" and former Federal Brigadier.

These two names are relatively young within the Federal Party and are powerful senators who have been asked to look to the future.

Such was the sight of them walking down the hallway of the capitol with evil spit, so much so that from the perspective of those who did not know them, they would assume that they were "someone else".

"I know. But it really pisses me off that someone who doesn't know what the military is talking about. That jizzy speech was just a theory of results."

Everyone would have desperately stopped if they knew there would be so much damage, he continued.

In fact, the problem, the damage to the orchestra operation was unexpected for the human army.

Tactically, it was a great victory, but the failure to lead to the strategic victory of the Demon King's crusade makes matters bigger.

"Let's think about things. Thanks to the forward movement of about 300 km on the front, we acquired a vast territory after being able to further reduce the threat of the demonic tribe.

Cutting cakes is a long way off, but given the Federation's contribution to the operation, I guess we'll get some favorable land. "

"How many years ahead are we talking about? Even the land we acquired 15 years ago hasn't progressed in colonization, and we can't be glad to get an even more unproductive desert here.

The next midterm election is more troubling than it was 20 years ago. "

Brian turned his sympathetic eyes to Burke holding his head. Especially since Brian was placed in the same situation as his best friend.

"Exactly. Alle of the United Kingdom, did you hear the results?

"Oh, was it some local election? You're talking about the main warring opposition, the Unity Party, only got eighteen seats, right?

"That's right. They don't like war any more than the Demons do anymore. Isn't it time we changed our minds, too?

"It's easy for you to say. Now I don't need to tell you where the Federation's main polling fields are?

When Burke snorts sarcastically, Brian has no choice but to sigh heavily.

Supporting the largest congressional federal party is the "Federal Cross Church", which manages the "Cross" Church and its priests, who demand extinction by seeing the most faithful religion in the Confederation, the Demonic Nation, as a "demon hostile to God".

And companies that manufacture various kinds of weapons, munitions, etc. used in war, that is, companies that profit from war.

No matter how they rise, there is no way in the framework of the Confederate Party to break the pre-construction of the "doctrine of main warfare".

Both Burke and Brian are well aware of that.

We also stir up our tongues in the House, because there is a bias in its voting fields.

"... it's become a world I don't like at all. I can't believe we're not allowed to detour or stop, even though we know there's a mud ahead of us."

To his foolish best friend, Burke caged his powers slightly harder and slapped him on the shoulder. Leaking out of his mouth is no word of comfort.

"Don't worry, Brian. It's everyday tea on the battlefield."

"That's the Silver Star Medal holder, the words are convincing."

"I've said it many times, I just happen to be able to take it"

Burke replied scratching his head to his best friend's tearing words.

"If I happen to get a medal (it), I won't struggle. I'm hesitant to talk to you like this when you put it in a trench and took the War Wound Medal."

Laughing and talking about things you don't even think about, Brian.

He cages a joke and shows that medal glowing purple, but he knows it's not "awarded simply for sprinkling".

If so, because there is no explanation that Brian is a body that cannot even walk early without a cane.

"I see, that's why you're fat, you"

"Well known."

So they looked over the battlefield relatively calmly in the midst of a Federation party with a lot of main warriors, and were about to step right into the mud just down the road.

Burke stopped his leg and went into the councilman's lobby nearby.

Despite his unprecedented sudden behavior, Brian went in following Burke without hesitation and tightened the key.

Secret talks in places where there is no room. In other words, this is where it starts.

"Brian, a guy named Johnston, my ex-boyfriend, sent me two pieces of information."

Johnston.

The person was one of the few "men with skepticism about the operation" within the Federal Staff before the orchestra operation was activated.

In other words, the opinion that Johnston, a former subordinate of Federal Rep. Burke, feared leaked from somewhere to become an offensive material for the Socialist Party, but Burke didn't really care about it.

It is not surprising that some of those who have access to that information were members of the Socialist Party, and it is not uncommon to circulate information for the Socialist Party, apart from what is not unusual.

"One is that the Pan-Human Coalition Command, without punishment, also set up a politically 'favorable to the Confederate Party on the verge of being trapped' operation."

"... what a brave thing to do. Do we have the Commission's approval?

"'Given the number of mobilizations and the amount of material mobilized, it's a small operation, so there's no need for a Commission resolution'."

"You got it. He'll criticize me later."

"If you succeed, there's no problem"

"Oh, yeah."

He is Brian, who loses his temper to argue with Burke, who answers openly.

Whether you want war or not, you can't read his thoughts just by looking at the surface.

But given that Burke has no responsibility in this matter, his deep psychology can be inferred to be natural.

"So, what about the other one?

"The other one is Joshua's unsubstantiated guess, so listen to me in half."

Preceding that, Burke spoke pale of the information he had obtained.

Says the Demon King's Army is experiencing a time of change.

Yes, there are not many grounds on which Joshua judged.

Only because he overlooks the battlefield, sometimes at the forefront, and concludes by the information and successful imagination obtained by his eyes and ears.

"Is that credible?

"I guess not. If we take this up in the committee, I'll probably lose the next midterm election."

"What are you gonna do with that information to me? Are you gonna drop me?

"Well, that's not bad either"

"Hey."

"Joke. The real deal is after this."

Burke takes out the cigar and lights it.

Brian, an anti-smoker, literally distanced himself from Burke with a smoky face.

Burke exhaled a breath of smoke and told it.

"I haven't set a specific date, but I'm going to go on a front-line inspection next time as a federal member of the House Military Committee. I'm sure you won't hear from the Homeland Development Commissioner."

A Federation party that fails to crusade the Demon King and is politically criticized sends senators of high public opinion to the front line.

That would be more than a simple political performance, to say that there is something behind it.

"Maybe that's the pre-op phase? In favor of the Federal Party..."

"I don't think it's irrelevant. I don't know exactly what they're going to do, but maybe they want an informal political 'approval' for the military commission to go to the front."

"Not 'Witnesses'?

"Maybe both."

Laugh, he puts the cigar in the ashtray.

Unventilated compartments were filled with the smell of Burke's cigars.

"Anyway, I'm going to vacate the capital for a while. I don't believe in federal partisans these days. Will you keep an eye on Congress at your place?"

"Cheap (no prevem). Have fun at best."

"He who should be is a handy friend."

"Well said."

Brian smiled sarcastically.
