I Break through Crazily

Chapter 100 - 99: Fell by Himself?

Tang Yi’s opponent in the second match was, surprisingly, Su Jian—the very person he’d clashed with before!

Su Jian laughed when he saw his opponent was Tang Yi. While he wasn’t strong enough to defeat the Nine-star Martial Master Tang Piaomiao, he was confident there would be no problem taking down Tang Yi. He smiled and said, "Big Waste, I didn’t expect we’d run into each other so soon."

"I didn’t expect you’d be in such a hurry to die," Tang Yi replied coolly, looking completely relaxed and composed.

"Hmph. Big Waste, tough talk is useless. Let’s see you prove it in the ring," Su Jian snorted. He was still utterly disdainful of Tang Yi. Though he didn’t know how Tang Yi had won his first match, it didn’t matter. ’A Big Waste is always a Big Waste,’ he thought. ’Nothing could have changed that much. There’s no way he can beat me.’

Hearing this, Tang Yi didn’t seem to care. He simply crooked a finger and said, "Bring it on."

Once on the fighting stage, the two stood facing each other, trading barbs. Their exchange immediately drew the attention of numerous spectators and fellow contestants.

This time was different from Tang Yi’s last match.

In the previous match, no one had favored Tang Yi. They thought he was just a token participant with no hope of victory. Furthermore, Wul Xiao had been extremely nonchalant in his approach, making the fight look like a complete joke. As a result, no one had paid that match any mind.

But against all expectations, in that very match no one watched, Tang Yi had actually won!

The victory was said to have been incredibly bizarre.

This left everyone half-believing and half-doubting, curious to see just how Tang Yi had managed to win.

And so, Tang Yi’s second match instantly attracted a great deal of attention.

Among them were uninformed spectators, people who knew Tang Yi personally, his supporters from the Tang Family, and rivals who wanted to see him make a fool of himself.

All at once, the match between Tang Yi and Su Jian became the center of attention.

"Tang Yi is finally up again! I’ve been waiting for ages. I just want to see how this Big Waste actually managed to win."

"What a coincidence, me too! But he’s a universally acknowledged Big Waste. I have my doubts about his strength. I’m sure he won his last match using some kind of Techniques. Maybe his opponent was even an actor he hired."

"Well, we’re about to find out this time."

"The Big Waste’s opponent this time is Su Jian of the Su Family, right? I hear he’s pretty strong too."

"I saw Su Jian’s last win. It was very impressive. The Eight-star Battle Master, Xiuyong, was no match for him at all. Even though Su Jian hasn’t reached the strength of a Nine-star Martial Master yet, being able to defeat an Eight-star Battle Master is direct proof of his Talent and potential."

"I’m afraid Tang Yi is going to show his true colors in this match."

"..."

As soon as the referee announced the start of the match, Su Jian’s figure shot rapidly toward Tang Yi.

"Go to hell, Big Waste!"

Su Jian roared as he charged.

Su Jian’s Speed was incredible. If his opponent had only been at the Level of a seven or Eight-star Battle Master, they would have had a very difficult time dealing with him.

But was Tang Yi’s strength merely at the seven or eight-star Battle Master Level?

Of course not.

As Su Jian charged, his Speed seemed as slow as a turtle’s in Tang Yi’s eyes. Not a single movement could escape his sharp gaze.

Tang Yi could counter any of Su Jian’s attacks the instant he made them, so he wasn’t worried in the slightest.

Dealing with Su Jian was infinitely simpler than eating or sleeping.

So, as Su Jian charged, Tang Yi remained standing in place, completely motionless—the signature style of a master. (Just posturing, of course. Ptooey!)

But the crowd, unaware of Tang Yi’s true strength, saw him standing still and couldn’t help but shake their heads.

"Heh, all show and no substance, just as I thought."

"He must be scared stiff. Look at that pathetic display. How did a coward like him win the last match?"

"I told you, a Big Waste is still a Big Waste. And he thinks he can defy the heavens?"

"I have a feeling that in the next second, Su Jian is going to beat Tang Yi’s face into a pulp."

"..."

Of course, there were also voices supporting Tang Yi—those of the Tang Family Members.

"Haha, you idiots! My Brother Yi is just going easy on Su Jian. Su Jian thinks he can beat our Brother Yi? In his dreams!"

"Hey, you! The one who said he’s scared stiff, are you blind? Can’t you see how straight Tang Yi is standing, how composed he looks? You try being ’scared stiff’ for me and let’s see if you look like that!"

"Of course a Big Waste can’t defy the heavens! But our Brother Yi isn’t a waste. The heavens? He could flip them over with a flick of his wrist."

"I have a feeling, too. In the next second, Su Jian is going to suffer the same fate as Wul Xiao and get knocked right out of the ring by Tang Yi."

"..."

The Tang Family Members argued back and forth with the spectators, but being few in number, their words carried little weight. They were quickly drowned out by the voices that despised and mocked Tang Yi.

The spectators didn’t buy the Tang Family Members’ words at all, thinking they were just spouting nonsense to save face, unable to bear watching one of their own get thrashed on stage.

Just then, Su Jian arrived in front of Tang Yi and threw a punch, aiming straight for his face.

He aimed for Tang Yi’s pearly white teeth and swung. Moreover, he used a Fist Technique and one hundred percent of his Power.

Su Jian’s goal was simple: to shatter Tang Yi’s teeth and utterly humiliate him.

When Su Jian had first met Tang Yi and Tang Piaomiao, Tang Yi had been incredibly arrogant, relying on the presence of Tang Piaomiao, a Nine-star Martial Master, to completely ignore Su Jian. This had infuriated Su Jian, who had been wanting to get revenge on Tang Yi ever since.

Now that Tang Piaomiao wasn’t around, Su Jian could do as he pleased to get his revenge on Tang Yi, and the thought filled him with glee.

’One punch is all it will take to knock out all of Tang Yi’s teeth. He’ll lose all face. Let’s see how arrogant he can be then!’

Of course, it must be said that Su Jian’s plan was a beautiful one. He would surely feel incredibly gratified if he could pull it off. But would Tang Yi let him?

Of course not!

As Su Jian’s fist came flying, a bizarre scene unfolded.

Just as Su Jian’s fist was about to smash into his face, Tang Yi deftly sidestepped, shifting his body just enough. The punch aimed at his face was easily dodged.

But that wasn’t all.

For some reason, after his punch missed its mark, Su Jian should have logically stopped his momentum, changed his attack direction, and gone after Tang Yi again. Instead, his body seemed to be out of his control. His forward momentum didn’t cease, and he continued to charge straight ahead.

After failing to hit Tang Yi, Su Jian’s body actually kept rushing forward at an extremely high speed, as if his target had never been Tang Yi, but the empty air behind him.

Even after passing Tang Yi, Su Jian’s body still didn’t stop.

Under the astonished gazes of the crowd, Su Jian just kept charging and charging... right off the fighting stage!

THUD!

Su Jian fell to the ground below the stage, eating shit as his handsome face made intimate contact with the floor in a remarkable coincidence.
