Chapter 961 - 321: Primordial True Insect [Extinction]
Insect plague...
Wei Qing’s thoughts seemed to drift back in an instant, returning to the era when the Five Great Forces resisted the insect plague.
There was a time when, at their inception, the Five Great Forces were united, and exterminating the Insect Race was the common goal of all humans on Blue Star.
It was a moment that belonged solely to humanity.
Though there were sacrifices, every hero’s name was remembered and respected.
As the Insect Race weakened, human malice slowly began to emerge, capable of sharing hardship, but unable to share blessings.
Deceit, betrayal, interests, scheming—the Five Great Forces parted ways, ultimately calculating against each other, intriguing and competing.
The shadow of Dawn was within this.
But Dawn was merely a backstage manipulator; if strictly speaking, what truly pushed the forces on Blue Star to their final conclusion was fundamentally themselves—endless desires and greed.
Later, with Li Shutong’s death, the fuse was ignited.
The general trend of the world, long united, must divide; long divided, must unite.
Just unexpectedly, the insect plague, thought to have vanished completely, would reappear in such a manner.
Lin Jingxuan thought of this, retracting his thoughts.
Fortunately, Blue Star is now completely different from before; the people on Blue Star are more united and stronger.
This time with the insect plague, they will certainly protect their homeland from its end!
"First, organize the battle strength."
Thinking this, Lin Jingxuan had Celestial Net list the current major battle strength classifications on Blue Star according to his instructions.
First are the high combatants.
Currently, Blue Star’s high combatants, including Lin Jingxuan, number nine, who are:
Great Xia Commander-in-Chief, Lin Jingxuan, Realm of Transcendence.
Great Xia War Zone Legion Commander, Shen Zheqi, Tier Nine Spirit Contract Master.
Great Xia War Zone, Yu Lian, Zhan Ning, Tier Nine Knights.
Great Xia War Zone, Luo Qiuhong, Tier Nine Swordsman.
Great Xia War Zone, Mass, Tier Nine Cultivator.
Great Xia War Zone, Tier Eight Peak Spirit Contract Masters, Elder Bing Li Tugui, Dong Dachui, Chen Zui, Fan Chaohui.
The Contracted Spirit Girls didn’t appear because now, in Han Zhan’s Creator God state, they must combine with Ancient Divine Soldiers and merge with Han Zhan to maintain normal operation of the Array of Billions of Stars Creation.
Wei Qing and Shang Jianyue are also not included because they have been selected by the antique artifact "Battle of the Gods" and entered it.
Ye Qiu is not among them either, because he has completely turned into an ordinary person, losing his talent ability.
The reasons temporarily don’t matter, but at least, this is all the high combatants Great Xia can currently present.
Apart from that, there are the combat units engaging the insect swarm:
First is the Great Xia Combat Spirit Contract Masters.
Great Xia’s Combat Spirit Contract Masters, in recent years, have experienced explosive growth in both quantity and quality, even in combat awareness and ability, achieving further improvement.
This is closely related to Great Xia unifying Blue Star and everyone’s shared idol belief in Han Zhan, along with nurturing training resources and the special intelligent training by Celestial Net.
Simply put, Great Xia Combat Spirit Contract Masters are definitely a formidable, unusually powerful, trustworthy combat unit.
Second is the Intelligent Mechanism Legion.
Originally managed by Celestial Net AI Bob, now taken over by Lin Jingxuan, the Intelligent Mechanism Legion is undeniably the ideal troop type to combat the insect swarm.
They fearlessly charge ahead, devoid of pain perception, confronting countless insects with a programmed instinct to fight to the end.
And, given Blue Star’s current wartime production status, with all large arms factories operating simultaneously, the production and replenishment speed of the Intelligent Mechanism Legion is absolutely maxed out.
They will become the main force to counter the insect sea.
Third is the Knight Legion.
They are comparatively fewer in number, but as Blue Star’s second largest troop type, at its peak, the Imperial Knight Order could rival Han Zhan leading the Great Xia War Zone.
Their abilities are also not to be underestimated.
The above three are currently Great Xia’s main troop types.
As for others that are not part of the main troop types, they are not included in Celestial Net’s statistics.
Besides these, there is the planetary-level war fortress, Blue Star.
It serves as the first line of defense in direct confrontation with the Insect Race.
Regarding Great Xia’s current battle strength and configuration, that’s roughly it.
As for the opposing side,
The Primordial True Insect and its tribes are even simpler.
Insects, a vast number of insects, enough to completely occupy the entire star sea.
They possess nearly transparent wings and a pitch-black, hard shell with sharp, slender mouthparts.
The rapidly vibrating wings allow the insect swarm to swiftly traverse the star sea, faster than a regular starship burning energy bricks.

The pitch-black hard shell not only makes them difficult to detect in the similarly dark star domain but also fends off attacks.
The sharp slender mouthparts enable them to devour anything in sight, even an entire planet is no exception.
The overwhelming insect swarm is attacking Blue Star,
As seen through the float dimensional traveler’s view in the star sea, like a black tsunami surging in the boundless cosmos.
Behind the "black tsunami" is an incredibly colossal insect.
It’s the same Primordial True Insect that appeared in Blue Star’s outer star sea before.
However, this one’s name is different.
Its name is "Extinction."
Primordial True Insect "Extinction."
It wasn’t conjured from thin air.
It has always wandered the cosmos, devouring decaying, scented planets, fulfilling the destructive intent of the River of Eternal Darkness.
Previously, it didn’t enter this star domain because the Creator God-level World Tree existed.
Even Primordial True Insect "Extinction" couldn’t set foot in the domain of the Creator God.
So it has actually been lurking outside the star domain, until now.
The World Tree, emitting terrifying Creator God aura, suddenly vanished, leaving this star domain unprotected, enabling the Primordial True Insect swarm to ravage and devour.
And the reason for the World Tree’s disappearance is because of the antique artifact "Battle of the Gods."
This predestined linkage seems as if a hand of fate behind the scenes is connecting them.
Predetermined destiny cannot be altered.
From the edge of the star sea to Blue Star, it won’t take long.
Shortly after, in the Primordial True Insect’s view, appeared the planet emitting a gentle blue glow.
It "smelled" the atmosphere of rot and extinction, a particularly dense aroma.
The forward advance units, the black tide-like insect swarm, had already approached.
At that moment, a strong light suddenly erupted in the boundless darkness.
Explosions representing destructive aura accompanied by blinding white light.
A massive white sphere engulfed the forefront of the insect swarm, in just a blink, cleansing a large gap in the area where the insects originally were.
Witnessing this sight, the Primordial True Insect "Extinction" emitted a sound frequency audible only to the Insect Race.
It was a cold and bloodthirsty command:
"All insect swarm, attack!"
