"This is to Lady Claire, Lady Lily. Welcome to our home. Hey."

Baron Thompson's head of the family, Lady Wedge-Thompson, smiled briskly and greeted the three of us.

Master Wedge was a little younger than Master Dollar, a little fat man.

Although the size of the Thompson family mansion did not extend to the François mansion, it was also a size that seemed disproportionate to the lower nobility.

The guided mansion was also decorated with a lot of brilliant artwork that, from my point of view, seemed to be somewhat of a gold hobby.

Master Wedge played a very discerning statue of nobility in the hallway leading up to the reception room, where was that famous painting, yeah it cost a million gold... etc.

Though Claire and Lily seemed to be in a rush.

"So... what are you looking for today?

As everyone lowered their hips in the reception room, Master Wedge asked Master Claire as he palmed his hand.

I do gaze at Master Lily sometimes, but I don't even look at her.

I guess they think they're totally on the two sides.

In fact, I'm on Master Claire's side.

As a matter of fact, I was appointed Special Agent by His Majesty the other day.

"I know you. It's a wonderful birth to be a woman."

It's noble there, albeit inferior.

Master Wedge seemed to know about the Secret Service.

Fast ears on boulders.

"So I wanted to check on the Thompsons today."

"Oh dear...... That's not calm."

Master Wedge blatantly flaunted his face.

"You think we're committing a fraud that can be investigated by the Secret Service?

"I suspect that, so let me look into it, shall I?

"Oh my... I don't even think you're smart, Claire."

With an exaggerated gesture that was extra-hearted, Master Wedge looked to heaven.

"I'm not the one who likes and doubts me. Baron Thompson, if you claim to be innocent, please help us investigate."

"You have no choice. Fine. Please look into it."

Master Wedge had a bitter laugh, but he could see room in his face for "nothing will come out easily".

"So, can you give us a dossier that shows how we've been doing financially over the last decade?

"Yes, I did. I'll get it from the library, please wait a minute."

With that said, Master Wedge rang the bell and called the servant, saying something.

The servant of his age looked at this one for a moment, but nodded without saying anything and left the room.

"How about a treat while you wait?

"Oh, thank you -"

"Fine. We didn't come to see you."

Claire says she's pissed off, blocking Master Lily, who seemed to rejoice.

Seems like you've said it many times, but is that all right, Cardinal?

"Hehe, don't say that. I recently had a store that competed with Bloomee. It's a store called Fratel, but I make good confectionery. The main office is in Appalachia, but next time we have a branch office in Wangdu."

"I don't think you can beat Blume."

"Be sure to check with Claire's own tongue as much as it is true and false. It's no better than Blume, and it's a flavor you'll never make for the maids there."

Shortly after Master Wedge said so, the maids came in with teapots and cocot on the tray.

"This is the most popular creme brulee in Fratel. If you haven't already eaten it in the kingdom, I don't think so."

He was a proud wedge-like...

"I've had it before with Cream Brulee. What this person can make."

Lady Claire, who rapidly lost interest, said with her eyes.

"What!?... Yes, no, Fratel confectionery is what draws the line from amateur work. I'd love to have it."

For Master Wedge, Fratel's Cream Brulee must have been a social seed.

I must have never thought the other squire could make it.

I seem to have been visibly wolfish, but I am prompted to rebuild it with the characteristic graphics of the aristocracy and try it once.

I don't care, but you've been a little disgusted with me since earlier.

Only Master Wedge probably hasn't noticed that Mr. Claire's mood is plummeting each time.

"Well, if you say so much, I'll take it."

Lady Claire glanced at us only for a moment when she held the spoon.

I snort.

In advance, all the meals we were served on the way to the investigation had been met so that I could do the antidote magic.

Showing that I was done with my magic, Lady Claire finally brought the cream brulee to her mouth.

"Well... that's not bad"

"And it's delicious!

Master Claire was an assessment of restraint, but seemed quite popular with Mr. Lily.

I can see the color of surprise and honest praise on Master Lily's face.

Did you see the flag color as good, Mr. Wedge just talked out here?

"It will be delicious! I was surprised when I found this too. My wife, etc. used to be a bloomer, but now I totally peeked at Fratel. Bloomed confectionery is very expensive, but Fratel is also very pricey and conscientious -"

"But it doesn't belong to this guy."

But Wedge-like complexion changed when she spoke comfortably to Claire's words, which seemed very uninteresting.

"Oh, that shouldn't be...!

"Les, can Ray make something better than this...?

"Yeah. Ray, take a taste of this."

With that said, Master Claire brought a sip of cream brulee to my mouth with a spoon.

"It's an indirect kiss, okay?

"Hey, what's that hallenging word?!? … just taste it."

"Yes."

I will not hesitate to take it.

Snuggly. Spin the spoon with your tongue.

No, it's for taste, isn't it?

When I say yes, I do.

"Hmmm...... Did you ketch the raw cream? I think the milk ratio is a little big."

"Nah -!?"

"And the treatment of the surface caramel is sweet. Perhaps the recipe is perfect, but I don't think the craftsman's skills are catching up."

"Ki, you! Mouth like you figured out what!

"Baron Thompson, I apologize for the disrespect of my servant, but I agree."

"Oh, no! I will never accuse you of Claire!"

To Master Claire's calm voice, Master Wedge rushed to the cat's voice, but was stared at with frustration.

Ya, I'm scared.

But I'm happy now.

I know this cream brulee recipe.

Fratel, or... that's a good name.

When I was having a hard time with that, a servant of my earlier age came in after the door was knocked.

I have a bunch of paperwork in my hand.

I'll show you.

Get rid of the confectionery and receive a bunch of paperwork.

I tried to get an overall view of the book first.

"Dear Claire, I'm in trouble. No matter how much Claire says she's been appointed as a special secretary, she can't even get a single servant to fish for our financial materials."

When I opened the books, Mr. Wedge immediately complained.

But...

"This man is a special agent, too. Didn't you hear about the three Secretaries?

"!? This person!?

Master Wedge made his eyes black and white.

"Is there anything else wrong?

"Yes, no. Excuse me."

"Anyway, that's why you don't have to worry about anything extra. Ray, get started."

"Yes."

Feeling Master Claire's reliability, I began to lay my hands on the books.
