I Favor the Villainess

138. Encounter

The extermination of the street demons began the following afternoon.

Spend about an hour and a half every day exorcising demons.

Apparently, extermination activities convert credits to lectures on magical practical skills.

"Frieda, that way."

"Leave it to me, Kudasai!

A bear-like demon hit Frieda.

A sharp nail shook down her chestnut hair.

"Non non, sweet day"

When Frieda cleverly manipulated the sword to stream it, the demon collapsed.

"Claire!"

"Yeah, that's it!

Claire's flaming spear pierces the flames of a demon filled with gaps.

The demon raised the end demon.

When the giant fell, the demon left behind the magic stone and vanished.

"Phew. This is what it looks like around here."

When Lady Claire said so, she wiped the sweat off her forehead.

The temperature isn't so high yet, but when I move around, I still get a little sweat seeping in.

"Good day, Dear Claire, Frieda. How's the wound?

"Thank you, Ray. I'm fine."

"I'm fine with eagles."

"You're both strong,"

Said as Philine was impressed.

Whatever Claire is accustomed to in action, Frieda is a big deal too.

So far, the only wounds sustained are to the extent of scratches.

There seemed to be a relatively large and strong demon around here instead of a small number.

He has defeated water slimes, large wasps, grizzlies, etc.

It would be troublesome to be attacked by a group of people, but not our enemies if we could respond individually.

"Looks like the other students are doing their best."

If you look around, you can see another student party fighting demons a little further away.

The students of the Empire seemed accustomed to battle, defeating their enemies at risk everywhere.

"Will Lana and the others be okay"

"You'll be fine. Anyway, Lana has Eve and Yoel."

From what I saw in the lecture when I was in college, Lana was a beginner in magic, but Eve and Yoel seemed to be quite capable of using magic.

Especially when Joel was just saying he was a soldier's boy and he felt used to the way he fought.

Given that, I'd like to think it's okay.

"I'm worried about working with the other guy."

"Oh, the fourth one was Otto."

No one wanted to combine with the problem child in the example, and it seemed to stay until the end, but Lana spoke up.

Otto seemed reluctant, but Lana said so with her prior communication skills.

Bad and gal, it's an interesting combination.

"Aren't you okay? Otto said he was good at fighting, right?

Yes, it is.

Otto is a problem child, but he seems to excel in combat as well as schooling.

From what I hear, is his father a soldier in the army?

Joel wanted to talk to me.

"Well, it won't be rare. There are other parties."

So is that.

All you have to do is run away and ask for help.

But I'm worried about something.

"Hey, Ray. Don't worry about your hometown, Desga, it's like an extra order, Desyo."

When Frieda told me to put my consciousness back in front, now a wolf-like demon appeared.

Three heads in one torso - Cerberus.

"That's a little tough. Attention, everyone!

"I understand."

"Yes."

"Yea, keep your mind tight, Mars"

To Philine's alarm, everyone focuses on the fight.

Cerberus looks like a wolf, but his body is as good as a cow's.

Not only would bites from those sharp nails and teeth, but just being hit by the body would be quite damaging.

I watched without alarm.

"I'm coming!

A moment earlier than Master Claire's words, Cerberus ran out.

The aim is - Filine.

"I won't let you, Desyo!

Frieda circled in well to seal the path.

But Cerberus has no way of stopping.

I guess we'll just keep the momentum going and jump Frieda.

I won't let that happen.

"Marsh!"

I activated dirt magic under Cerberus's feet.

The solid ground instantly soaks up like mud.

Cerberus' feet were visibly dull.

"Here you go, Dace!

Frieda, who saw it, waved her sword down.

It was decided, I suppose.

"What!?

Frieda's sword was taken by Cerberus - with fangs.

"Get away, Frieda!

Cerberus spewed out the flames as Frieda let go of her sword and jumped back.

Frieda dodging with a single hair.

"HU......, do it Mars"

Frieda at a distance, but I lost my sword.

Her sword remains wrapped around one of Cerberus's necks.

I'm afraid it's serious blade removal.

"Give it back, Kudasai! That's a little industry day!

"Frieda back off. I'll deal with him."

"Oh, Thorley, Claire. Please, Mars."

Master Claire confronts Cerberus as he sets up his magic wand.

Cerberus seems eager to see how it goes.

"I didn't even do this!

When Lady Claire instantly produced five flaming spears, she unleashed it towards Cerberus.

Each one draws a different track and kills to Cerberus.

"Garru......"

Cerberus avoided all of it by leaping loud and sideways as he raised his voice.

He is a smart guy who doesn't look great on giants.

Though, that's the kind of Claire that ends up with - and not me.

"I'll stop the movement, please match it!

"Yes!"

Cerberus jumped out. Ahead I made a pit there.

Cerberus' giant got into the hole.

No matter how smart he is, he can't get out of here right away.

With Cerberus on his ass, the François family crest rises above Claire's head.

It is the eighteenth magic ray.

"It's over!

A hotline released from the crest hits Cerberus directly.

Cerberus went black burnt and stopped moving.

Immediately afterwards, leave the magic stone to vanish.

"Well, that's a little hassle."

"Brilliant, Master Claire."

Hang on to Master Claire.

Master Claire, along with the magic stone of Cerberus, recovered Frieda's sword.

"Yes, Frieda. Don't be alarmed next time."

"Thanks, Claire. Yeah, I will, Mars."

Frieda put it in her sheath when she received the sword.

"It was cool, Claire. Still, you both breathed perfectly."

Philine comes late.

The face has subtle colors floating around it.

Is this... jealous?

"Yeah, it's been a long time since Ray and I combined."

"You're a good couple, aren't you?"

"Which is my husband?"

"They're both daughters."

"Don't be silly. I'll be there next."

Feel the love of being treated in a mess too!

"Ha... nice..."

Philine's words, spilled small, seeped with the colour of envy.

Could it be that Philine is really getting into the Claire route?

"Dear Philine,"

"Huh? Oh, yes?

"I won't lift it."

"Ugh..., yes..."

It got sober.

I know I'm a little sorry, but I can't just give in here.

"It's time to go home. I didn't struggle, but my strength and magic are drained."

"That's right."

"No objection, Dace"

"Shall we go home?"

And when the story was coming together,

"Hum......, can we leave Cerberus? Big deal."

A voice sounded impressed.

The four of them turned to their voices as they slightly turned.

I felt no sign at all.

"I'm not an adult yet but I have so much fighting power...... It's a big deal for humans."

At first sight, the Lord of the Voice looked like a human being.

He was dressed in clothes resembling a black frockcoat, sitting on a rock a little further away and looking at us.

But what was decidedly different from a human was the wing on its back.

It's like a bat. It's obviously not human.

The eyes of intelligence are also vertically avoided.

"Demons...!

Filine screamed sharply.

A superior being who can unite the demons.

I've never seen it before.
