Then, Zhao Yanglin looked at Wei Yang and his three companions and said with a chuckle, "Well? Now you finally know where to find the best bok choy in supreme broth, don’t you?"

Wei Yang and his three companions all nodded. "Old Zhao, we believe every word you said before."

Zhao Yanglin, feeling more cheerful than ever, added, "The Yangchun Noodles and beef noodles here are also the absolute best in the country. Come back at one o’clock this afternoon to try them."

Wei Yang and his three companions nodded. That was their plan as well.

They continued to eat and drink.

The other customers in the restaurant gradually finished their meals, paid their bills, and left.

Li You walked out of the kitchen and came over to the table where Zhao Yanglin, Wei Yang, and the others were sitting. He smiled and said, "Mr. Zhao, it’s good to see you again."

Zhao Yanglin smiled back. "Boss, I’m always craving the food here! Come, let me make some introductions. This is Old Wei, Wei Yang. I’m sure you already know him, Boss."

Li You nodded. "Of course. I’ve seen almost all of Director Wei’s films; I really enjoy them. It’s an honor for my humble restaurant to have you here, Director Wei. I’m truly privileged."

Wei Yang and his three companions had been sizing up Li You ever since he walked over.

Even though they already knew Li You was very young, they were still taken aback.

’He’s way too young, isn’t he?’

’How on earth can someone so young make so many incredibly delicious dishes?’

’You can’t just chalk this up to talent, can you?’

’Is he a talent among talents?’

’Incredible!’

All four of them were marveling to themselves.

Besides being so young, the boss was also incredibly handsome.

With looks like his, probably none of those pretty-boy idols in the entertainment industry could compare.

It wasn’t just that he was handsome; he also had a rugged, masculine aura—something those pretty boys sorely lacked.

’No wonder Miss Ye dares to rent a room here, spending her nights alone in the same house as the boss.’

’She probably figures that even if the boss were to... *ahem*... ’take’ her, it wouldn’t be... COUGH COUGH, wait, what, sorry. They shouldn’t be thinking such things.’

Hearing Li You’s words, Wei Yang replied, "Not at all, not at all. You’re too kind, Boss. It should be my honor to eat your food. I’m incredibly fortunate to have come here to dine."

After the two exchanged a few pleasantries, Zhao Yanglin introduced the other three men.

Li You exchanged pleasantries with each of them in turn.

Then, not wanting to disturb their meal any further, he excused himself and stepped outside.

He leaned back in his rocking chair to relax and play a round of *Plants vs. Zombies*.

A short while later, Ye Shengge came out as well.

"All finished?" Li You asked.

Ye Shengge nodded and sat down in the chair beside him.

Seeing him playing *Plants vs. Zombies*, she said, "Boss, you’re still interested in playing this game!"

Li You chuckled. "I suddenly got interested again a couple of days ago. Have you ever played it?"

"Of course!" Ye Shengge replied. "I used to play it all the time when I was younger. I loved it, but it’s been years since I last played."

"Same here, it’s been years," Li You said. "Want to play a game?"

"Well..." Ye Shengge hesitated for a moment before saying, "Sure, I’ll play too. Let me download the game first."

"Okay."

Just like that, Ye Shengge downloaded and installed *Plants vs. Zombies* and launched the game.

’She hadn’t played in so many years. Playing it again so suddenly made her feel a strange sense of how quickly time passes.’

Before long, Zhao Yanglin, Wei Yang, and the others had eaten and drunk their fill.

After settling the bill with Da Bai, they walked out of the restaurant. When they saw Li You and Ye Shengge both playing *Plants vs. Zombies*, they couldn’t help but think to themselves, ’Ye Shengge is probably renting a room here for more than just the food.’

Then, Zhao Yanglin said with a laugh, "I never would’ve thought you two would be into such an old game."

Li You laughed as well. "We just got a sudden urge to play these last couple of days. Did you enjoy your meal?"

Zhao Yanglin nodded.

Then, Wei Yang added, "Boss, I’d like to discuss something with you. We absolutely love your wine. Do you think you could sell some to us? We’re willing to pay a high price. As long as you name a price, no matter what it is, we’re open to discussion."

Li You shook his head. "I’m sorry, Director Wei, but my wine is not for sale."

’He didn’t even name a price, just a flat refusal. It looks like he really has no intention of selling it, no matter what.’

But Wei Yang still hadn’t given up. He pressed on, "Boss, we’ll just buy a small amount. Ten pounds, ten pounds would be enough... Or how about five? ... One pound, Boss, just a single pound! Name any price you want... Boss..."

Even for just one pound, Li You still shook his head. "I’m truly sorry, Director Wei. It’s not about the money. This wine really isn’t for sale, not for any price, no matter how high."

Wei Yang was disappointed, but there was nothing he could do.

Zhao Yanglin and the others were naturally disappointed as well. They were also desperate to buy some wine to take back with them.

But since the boss wouldn’t sell, they had no choice but to drop it.

Then, Zhao Yanglin said, "Boss, we’re going to take a stroll through the canyon. Let Old Wei get a good look around. Who knows, maybe he’ll come here to scout for a film location in the future."

Li You nodded. "Sounds good! Take your time."

Zhao Yanglin, Wei Yang, and the others headed towards the canyon.

Watching their retreating figures, Li You knew they were all desperate and sincere in their desire to buy his wine, and that they were willing to pay a high price.

’But there’s no way he would sell the wine.’

’Still... ah, whatever. When they leave, I’ll give each of them a pound as a gift.’

’The wine will never be for sale, no matter what. But it can be given as a gesture of goodwill every now and then.’

’Living in this society, you can’t avoid these kinds of personal connections.’

He went back to his game.

A little while later, another customer arrived. He was a man in his thirties.

As soon as he got close, he asked Li You excitedly, "Boss, I heard Director Wei Yang was here eating. Is that true?"

Li You was puzzled. "How did you find out?"

The customer said, "I heard people talking about it in town; the news is already all over the place. So does that mean it’s really true?"

Li You nodded. "It’s true. I didn’t expect word to spread so quickly."

The customer grew even more excited. "I knew it was true! Boss, everyone in town is saying how amazing you are, that even a huge director like Wei Yang would travel all this way just to eat at your place. They’re also saying that since a big-shot director showed up, big-name celebrities can’t be far behind. People are saying you might have stars eating here regularly from now on."

Li You chuckled. "That’s all just speculation. Everyone might be celebrating a bit too early."

The customer shook his head. "I don’t think it’s too early at all. I believe that day will come, sooner or later. When it does, Boss, your restaurant is going to be well and truly famous."

"Becoming famous isn’t that important," Li You said. "Besides, I already have more than enough customers. If too many more people came, I wouldn’t be able to serve them all anyway."

"That’s true," the customer conceded. "But being famous is still a good thing. Boss, I’ll have three pounds of crayfish. I’m going to have a nice drink this afternoon... no, I mean a nice bowl."

Li You nodded with a smile. "Alright. I’ll get that started for you right away."

"Thanks, Boss."

"Not at all."
