"It terminated its contract with the Ice Demon Race," the Azure Dragon helped explain on behalf of Zhang Menglong. "The Ice Wing Dragon Bat was barely clinging to life, so it had to terminate the contract with the Ice Demon Race and let the world’s rules take it away. Otherwise, it might have died there."
"You almost killed a Guardian Beast?!" Ying Zheng’s eyes widened.
"Sort of," Zhang Menglong said, "Of course, I don’t have the ability to do that on my own. I relied on external help."

"Thanks to Jin Kela," Zhang Menglong pointed to the little fellow on his shoulder. "This little guy was adopted from a Blood Demon Ant nest. It can control the leaders of the Insect Clan, and is a born ruler of the Insect Clan."
