I’m a NEET but When I Went to Hello Work I Got Taken to Another World (LN)
88 Stories Farm Development and Homemaking
The next day. I stopped by the village chief's house before going to the planned farmland.
Though they say you can pioneer whatever you want, it's going to be bigger than Mr. Orba originally assumed, and you better keep him informed of your progress.
But the village chief has gone out. They went to see the planned farmland early in the morning.
When I arrived at the planned farmland, there were about 2,30 people gathered. Around the farmland I made yesterday, I get together and chat cutely, from small children to the elderly.
"Did you increase your manpower?
Ask Mr Orba that.
"No way. I was just asking if I had any crops to plant within yesterday because the fields seem to work."
"You've come to visit anyway."
Yes, Ellie assures me.
Have you come to see me make a farm with magic?
"That's about half of our relatives..."
Look at the group, Mr. Orba snaps like that.
Oh, yeah. It's a rural area, isn't it? They say your parents are already dead, but your relatives must be full of villages.
"Olba, you've done a pretty good job."
"Mayor, did you come all the way here to see this?"
An old man with a slightly full-bodied stomach on the gray beard surface walked back and forth.
"Not since I'm free this time of year. Oh, that's the Wizard Lord! I am the village chief of the village of Largano, called Baharata."
"Hi."
Shake hands all the time.
"I think I'm asking, Masaru, you and Ellie are going to be able to help out with the farmland much wider than I thought."
Mr. Orba will brief the village chief.
A brief consultation on debt has already been held with Mr Orba. As much as Ellie owes Mr. Narnia plenty, she promises to do her job.
It's just terribly vague in terms of amounts, over four years, and it's a big mess in terms of money, whether it's Mr. Nania or Ellie. Use it appropriately to send the rest of the money. Although Mr. Olba had more or less grasped the amount he earned and distributed at the party, he could not even have known the detailed use of the two men's money.
In the end, I stayed on vacation during the winter and decided to pay off my debt by helping to build a farm.
"Oh, I don't mind. You keep doing this!
A lot of villagers are looking at us talking to the village chief with interest.
I was using magic yesterday. I wonder if it was a failure to show it. But you can go home now because we'll do the rest for the people who help you with your work, okay? I can't say anything, and I didn't use that kind of magic that first, so I thought it might be enough to stop.
"Everybody! Let's do it!"
When the village chief spoke to the village crowd, about twenty people began to cut down the forest trees.
"Mayor, you don't have to manpower me."
"Fine, fine. We just ran out of firewood. I'll see you later."
"Gilty."
Tirica behind me snaps. That's right.
Drop off the village chief who went to work in the woods.
"What do you want to do?
"We talked a little bit about not having enough farmland around here."
If you listen to me, the lack of agricultural land around here seems to be quite a dead end issue for some people.
Where it seems easy to open up in the near field, it is done openly. The population will increase, but the agricultural land handed down is small.
You can't open it, you can't build a field and say it's over. We also need defenses against demons and waterways. Anyway, if you don't have a problem financially without two or three years of harvest, like Mr. Olba, it's a huge undertaking that you can hardly handle to do individually or as a family.
Anything that has no land to inherit has no choice but to live like a half-slave as a petty writer or leave town.
But when you get out of town, it's not so easy for rural people to get a good job.
I have as much work to do if I want to live that day, but soldiers and adventurers are a staple if I want to make money. It is a work of life.
Then there are many people who want to be local and farm their fields and live.
As far as I'm concerned, I didn't know about the situation of someone else in the red, but Mr. Orba and Mr. Nania are not going to be able to live in this village in the future.
Besides, I'm not saying that to them or anything else.
"When you ask a wizard for a job, the reward is high."
I see. I was wary that I could make you work for free again, like during the journey.
Sometimes it's okay to go along with Ann's missionary work and help people in need.
"Even I don't do anything for free. The treatment center's taking good money, and it's hard to run an orphanage?
"Right. They took money to remember the magic of recovery."
"It's cheap."
They also took 3500 gold (about 350,000 yen in Japanese yen) in two days, usually assuming about a month, and wizards mostly have money.
By the way, teaching is the lowest condition that magic can be used. Teaching restorative magic to people who can't use magic is not the kind of thing you can do in a single hassle in a short time. He's going to be a more decent educational institution and look for a master.
"Is that it? I think even the longer ones said two weeks."
"It feels bad to say a month and hang up in a month, don't you? You say two weeks and tell me a month. If you can't, you're gonna give up."
That's pretty bad!
But magic is unsuitable, and it's not something you can remember because it's magical.
"Ellie, who can use everything, is actually amazing."
"Right? I wouldn't have any more respect if I found out... No, fine..."
So, it's okay, because mine is cheat! Because Ellie is an amazing wizard!
After Mr. Olba went to help him, he was in a good mood as soon as he got a little nagging. I knew it was chocolate.
"Yes! I am the ultimate magician of space magic!
Yeah. Wow, wow.

There were just over twenty people working on it, and quite a few trees had been cut down while we were talking in. I just cut it and roll it on the spot. The pace is a lot faster because of that.
While paying attention to the falling trees, I collect the cut trees around. We'll explore the area on Earth Sonar as we walk around and see if there's anything in the way. Fine with the fine stuff, but big rocks and stuff just get in the way when you do it magically all at once.
Even if they walk to sew between the villagers doing the work, they won't even notice if they kill the signs.
When I recovered the tree that was just about to fall off, I was suddenly freaked out by the disappearing tree. Excuse me.
Everyone comes back with the voice of the village chief's, we're going to take a break.
We did our best to help, of course, so the woods were cut wide open after about two hours of work. But it's still full of weeds and shrubs just cut off the big trees, enough to have a hard time dividing them in, depending on the location. But of course there is no problem.
Make sure they're all evacuated and go around the perimeter again on Earth Sonar. There doesn't seem to be anything disturbing anymore.
In my case, the focus gets disturbed when it gets noticed, so this time it stays hidden activated. None of the villagers have noticed my movements.
The range is probably twice what it was yesterday.
Activate magic while remembering yesterday's...
Yes, well done!
Suddenly the forest site disappears and soft soil appears. The villagers who were chatting gradually noticed and gave a pocan look, and stood colored.
"When I heard the story, I half-truthed it, but this is..."
Surprisingly, the villagers are entering the farmland where they can set up and look into the soil.
"What will you do next?"
Speak to Mr. Olba, who came with the villagers to see the farmland.
"I'm going to have to hit the waterway, but the farm's going to be huge, so I might have to build a new one. I need to talk to the village chief for a second."
They were planning to pull it from an original waterway, but if the size of the farm increases, that won't be enough. Looks like we'll have to expand the original waterway or pull a new one from a nearby river.
"Would you like to make it on the wall too, then?"
If it's about a wall, I can make it for now and fix it as much as I want later.
Adjust the height of the wall in consultation with Mr. Orba at the boundary of the farmland.
Normal farmland makes walls and fences about 1m at best, but that's just a matter of cost. If it's expensive and sturdy, I've never been over it.
I ended up building a wall of about 3m. It's the same height as the surrounding walls of the village.
The villagers come around about the tour to divide up with Ellie and build a wall. Is it unusual for dirt magic to make walls pop?
It just doesn't work if you can see it this close, but most of it went to Ellie's, so it was just a few people, and she didn't really care because she kept it far away from me.
"Shall I remember dirt magic, too?"
That's what Anne says as she looks at the wall she can do.
"What about spatial magic?
It's hard.
"Hard"
That's what Tirica says following Ann. The acquisition of space magic seems difficult to navigate.
"Is it hard to learn new magic? Especially when it comes to spatial magic."
Is that why the level 1 points are high around there?
The wall was silently built and joined by Ellie to complete the wall. The walls are open in two places at a time. Someone will have to make the gate later.
"You've got a good feeling!
"I think I can build a house and live there."
Home. I wonder where we'll build our house. It's going to be noisy even if it's not too close to farmland, why don't you go to the woods for a bit?
Once I get confirmation from the village chief that I can build the house, I still don't seem to have a problem building it wherever I want.
"What about demons and stuff around here?
Ask Mr. Orba.
"The fort is close and there are a lot of villages around, so I'm going to exterminate it, but the demonic realm is going to flow quite a bit."
Basically, there are only weak demons, but sometimes they can't be caught off guard because the strong ones from the demonic side get mixed up.
Subtle...... I knew the woods were scary, so I thought I'd make it nearby.
Orba and the villagers decided to leave the logging of the forest to us, and it would be up to us to choose where to build the house.
I decided to go near the field though, and I don't have that option because I want to make it by the end of the day.
Hold Sati and hop up in Levitation to see the surrounding terrain.
"Oh, how about over there, Master Masal?"
The tip of Sati's finger is the hill that is so small in the woods. The distance is probably not even a kilometer from here. It's not far from the farmland.
"Right. Wouldn't that be nice?"
Ellie, Anne and Tirica continued to come up.
Ellie seems to have a high point in the hills. If you build a tall building on that hill, you're going to have a beautiful house.
"Let's just go check it out"
Ann makes a good point.
Keep moving in levitation.
I go down the hill and grab my surroundings. There are small animals, but there are no demons.
But if you want to set up a house here, you should keep it safe. Let's hunt down the demons around us in our spare time.
I explored the basement in Earth Sonar and there was also a water vein. The water supply doesn't seem to be a problem either.
"Let's just cut a tree out of the way"
"Yes."
Me and Satie are going to do the logging. Axes are not specialized, but with swordsmanship level 5 and the power of physical strengthening, it's an easy job.
The hill quickly balked up.
Well, what kind of house shall we make? You can build like this normally, but I like a nice house with a view because it's high. A tower or a building, a castle on three floors... a castle!
Build a Japanese-style castle. Yeah, that's a great idea. Shall I also make the Temple of Heaven? If you build stonewalls or something with reference to the castle, the defense is going to look good.
"I'm going to build a castle."
"It's a castle. Nice!
Ellie probably imagines a Western style, a castle with a tower or something. But unfortunately, it's the Japanese castle that's going to be finished! I'm getting a little excited.
"Castle? Wouldn't it be hard to manage if you built it that big?
Anne, our housewife, is probably worried about the hassle and management of cleaning.
"I'll keep the size affordable to live in. But it looks like there's gonna be demons and stuff, and if you're gonna live out of town, you'd be safer to build a sturdy one, wouldn't you?
"So is that."
Let's start with the base part of the castle. If you're going to build a castle normally, you're going to stone it up and build a stone wall, but soil magic is easier.
I can do anything with dirt magic. There was a time when I thought so, too. But the reality is tough.
Ishigaki became a wall that felt like something was going on. Well, I can't help it. On security grounds, they might break in from the stone walls.
There is no white lacquer on the walls of the castle, so it is a normal brownish soil color. I wish it was a marble or a white stone, but it's dirt from the right place. I have no choice.
The roof is also a tile if it's a castle, but it's a hassle to make one tile at a time, and it became a normal diagonal roof. The material is the same as the wall and brown.
The shape is also kind of like a straight building that doesn't even resemble a Japanese castle. The castle has a tile roof for every layer, but when it was actually made, it was troublesome and omitted.
You can't spend too much time on it. If I don't make it by the end of the day, I'll be staying at Mr. Orba's house again.
I barely made the Temple of Heaven just like that. I also put chachihoko on the roof. This turned brown and plain, too.
There are also gold and silver coins, so I can crush them and plating them from above, but I wasn't willing to use precious metals for a piece that looked barely like a chachi hoko made by my amateur.
The base portion is 5 m. There is a three-story residential area on top of it, and on the rooftop is the Heavenly Palace. I plan to build the basement later.
What happened as a result?
Owing to Ellie's desire to have a tall building and my desire to make it castle-like, and Anne's desire to have an affordable size because it's hard to clean, my finished home is more vertically elongated than a castle, like a tower or building. And there's a teahouse-style penthouse riding on that rooftop, rather than a temple.
What is this? How did this happen...
It should be noted that the daughters-in-law seemed to be well received except for Shatihoko.
