About me, Beat is five years old.

Who the hell are you? I can't help it, but I'm an ex-designer who's reincarnated from another world.

My name became a beat. 'Gone' is because I didn't have a name until I was two years old. Apparently, infant mortality is quite high in this world, and there is a habit of not naming infants until they reach the age of two so that they don't get attached. So it was the beginning of the following year that I learned my name, too. The way I counted my age in this world was by the count of years.

Incidentally, "beet" is not a musical thing, but "beet" from a fellow member of the sugar daikon... it might have been "Daikon Taro" if it was his Japanese name. I don't know why, but the name was foreign.

So let me explain what I've discovered about this world in the last four years.

Start with the calendar.

It is 360 days a year and 30 days a month, but there is no concept of a week, and I use the unit of "season" separated by 10 days. Since it is said to be early, mid and late in modern Japan, there is no problem with this. It seems that it depends on the town, village, or the person's rhythm of life, but it seems that the rhythm of life is to work 8 days and rest 2 days of the season. In general, it is a form of working for 4 days and resting for 1 day. Of course, there is no rest for serfs. Black.

The time of the day is 24 hours for physical feelings, but it is not delimited. It seems to be judging by the position of the sun. For example, "morning" when the sun rises, "day" when the sun rises, "evening" when the sun sets, "night" when the sun sets. Of course, there are no concepts such as minutes or seconds. It's a big one.

In Japan, the New Year was in the middle of winter, but here the day after the winter solstice is New Year's Day. It is well understood that the calendar is made to match the movement of the sun.

By the way, there's a proper moon, but it's not round. It looks like a crooked rock mass, and depending on how you look, it looks like a normal octahedron without horns. It feels slightly larger than the Earth's moon. The rotation period is 30 days, but due to the relationship between its shape and the rotation period, there seems to be no age.

Next is the climate.

It looks like the latitude from the subtropical to the temperate zone on Earth. It's not very clear, but there are four seasons, and I feel the climate is close from Okinawa to Kagoshima. It is warm all year round and does not fall below freezing point even in winter. In summer, temperatures can rise above 40 degrees Celsius, but it's not unbearable. This is because in summer the humid air coming from the south is blocked by the mountains and the air is dry. Conversely, in winter, the air from the north is held back in the mountains, and it rains a lot. The rain seeps out of the mountains and becomes a river to moisturize the forest. Beyond the middle of the mountain, it snows and melts gradually over the summer. Thanks to this, there is no shortage of water even in summer, which is said to be dry season. It's the end of spring, and it's the easiest time of year.

And this is a village, but this is a pioneering village. Takumi Village refers to "a frontier village with autonomy that is not under the protection of the aristocracy that governs the neighborhood."

The result of the convergence between the desire to increase tax revenues and the desire of ordinary people to gain territory and become aristocrats is a system called Takumi Village.

Exploitation is not everywhere, but is limited to the vicinity of the "Great Forest", the "Dragon Cry Mountains" that extend south of the village, and the "Great Dense Forest" that lies south of it. These three areas are "demons" where fierce and powerful monsters inhabit several levels compared to nearby forests and mountains. Naturally, there are many dangers, and it seems that many villages will be wiped out in less than five years. Being outside the protection of the nobles means you have to protect yourself from these monsters and bandits. Nevertheless, if the village is enlarged and developed successfully, the representative will eventually be given a title and recited to the nobles. This is a rare opportunity for civilians to become nobles.

One of the villages created by such circumstances is this pioneering village. It seems that the name of the village is "Dantes Village" from the name of the village chief. Dantes, the former adventurer (after all, he seems to be here), bought a large number of slaves with the money he obtained from his activities and built the village here, where he was paying attention to the adventurer era.

The population of the village is now less than 40, and it is still small. However, since the village chief, who was a former adventurer, taught his slaves swordsmanship, spear magic, and bowing, the village's defenses were high, and the size of the village was steadily expanding. In my twelfth year of existence, I am said to be the eighth child born in this village. Four of them are said to have died of illness by the age of three.

The village chief taught me this story. He is also my husband, but he is told to call me "Milord" or "village chief" instead of "Master".

"Sonny, please let me go.

I often go to the village chief to talk about the adventurer era. Because I want to know more about the outside world or about this world. All but the village chief, his wife and his daughter are slaves, so they don't know much about upbringing or the world. Neither of our parents leaks to the example.

The village chief is unexpectedly young. Probably over 40. The hair is red-haired Zangiri with short hair, a bump, and a gorimacho. It's a little over 180cm tall, but I think it weighs over 100kg. Your arms, neck, and chest plates are all muscular and thick. I don't feel relaxed at all. I don't like the look on my face, but when I look closely, I feel a strange affection. The scars running vertically on my chin have made my face stand out.

Contrary to its appearance, its character is very calm. It's tough where it's tough, but otherwise, you don't rough up your voice with hawking. I feel like I can afford a strong man. We don't treat slaves as objects, and we don't punish them for making some mistakes at work. I think I was lucky to be this man's slave.

I usually work around the village, but I often exercise at home from noon to evening. Aiming for the middle of the exercise, I'm here to talk to you because I haven't been assigned a job yet. Even now, I'm still gazing at where I've finished pretending to be a big axe in my daily routine and calling out. By the way, the village chief is not a dialect.

"Are you here again, Beat? I'm not tired of you, either.

The village chief answers while wiping his sweat with a hand soap.

"I like the soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soon-soo.

The village chief's eyes were gently narrowed.

Well, let's talk about the dungeon today.

Dungeon! How dare you!

"Nhhhh! How long has it been?

"Dungeons are a kind of golem and other magically born monsters.

Dungeons are monsters? What do you mean by that?

"The magic elements are born in a dark place and look like caves and mazes. Bring in the monsters and animals around and let them live there. That's why you don't move around.

"Are you crazy? Are you with something else? Why would you do that?

"I don't know if it's true, but they say it's to protect the Magic Stone. The deepest and deepest part of the dungeon is a magic stone called the Dungeon Core. It seems they are dwelling monsters to keep it safe. There are a lot of magic elements in the dungeon, so it's easy for monsters to live in.

Monsters often have magic crystals called magic stones in their bodies. It is generally near the heart and tends to have larger magic stones as large monsters. This magic stone is in high demand as a tool for magic, a material for "magic equipment", and is the main income of adventurers. The village chief taught me this knowledge.

"I don't have a heart in the dungeon. Some monsters have a magical way of being born, so they say it's a kind of monster.

"Heh, heh heh.

Well, that's a convincing explanation. After all, the village mayor's story is useful.

"I think so too. Break or remove that dungeon core and the dungeon dies and stops growing. With the core, you're gradually expanding and becoming bigger and bigger.

Well, in that theory, there seems to be a super giant dungeon in the dense forest. The dense forest south of the Dragon Cry Mountains is a hidden gem.

"Do you have a lot of time?

"Oh, there is. I mean, thanks to the Dungeon Core I got at that time, I was able to fund this village.

Oh my God, the source of the funds was the dungeon core.

"Wow! Did you catch up with him!?

"Ah, the pit fell by chance near the core. Looks like it was a young dungeon about 50 years old, but the core was around here. The color was a beautiful dark purple.

That's how I make a spacing of about 15 cm with my right index finger and thumb. If the diameter is about the size of a sphere, it is certainly a magic stone of the size of a rupture. Even the bear-like monster "Big Claw Bear", which is about 3 meters long, has a diameter of about 2 cm.

"Like, like, me too!

I'll try to say it as childish as possible, but this is mixed with my heart. If there's a dungeon, I'd like to dive and worship the core! It's synonymous with magic and fantasy alongside dragons!

"Yes, but we need to get bigger to dive into the dungeon.

That said, the village chief stroked my head and went back to training. Is that all we have to say today?

I heard a good story today. I'll go home, too.
