I’m an Adventurer! ~Musou Skill is Plane Magic~

Episode 124: Seabirds Disappear in the Wave

Three days after the start of the exploration, seabed exploration around the nest of the pontoon is not progressing.

I was able to locate several sunken ships and find dozens of bodies and more artifacts. However, we still haven't found anything on our dear Aristotle.

I wonder if this has gone into the tide for a while.

"If that's the case, it's a little troublesome. From here, the current is divided into two parts. I don't know where it got washed away."

That's right. Through this archipelago, the current divides into the northwest and northeast. The fishermen in Gizan told me that the northeast travels along the continental coast to the Lute Sea, while the northwest travels towards the centre of the Lute Sea. I was told I didn't know what was going on from there. Well, I'm a local fisherman. You don't have to know because you won't go far into the ocean.

But even if we knew, we wouldn't be better off. I don't know which way to go.

The only salvation is that there is little chance that Alist will survive. It's possible that the ship didn't sink. Really, it's only a small possibility.

I'm in the hotel living space now. The time is after dinner at the end of the night. I'm unfolding the map mapped by my camera onto a plane on the table, and we're all in a meeting.

It's me, Cristala, Kicka, Argna, and Daisy. And Wu. Wu is still sleeping at my feet.

Luca and Samantha are looking after the children in separate rooms. When it gets dark, you'll remember the basement, or you'll be emotionally unstable, so I'll stay by your side until you go to bed. Their hearts are deeply broken.

Write sunken ships and currents to another plane overlaid on the map in the current form. This is a "paint" feature that most of the more advanced 3DCG tools can use to write textures directly to 3D models. But it may not be very high-performance, so I often write it down and modify it later on in another painting tool. I don't need such a precise texture this time, so I use it as it is. I don't have any painting tools in the first place.

"The deadline for the request is just ten days away. When I think about going to San Palace for the report, I think I'll have about four days to look into one."

"Don't let me. The Wizard of Beats can move pretty fast, and if you have that much time, you can check the range."

That's right. Which one do you want to check first.... "

"Hmm, this way... I wonder?

I point northwest towards the center of the Lute Sea.

"Why are you there?

"The evidence is thin. If it's north and northeast, if it drifts on land, it'll be witnessed and there might be some kind of clue left. But I can't hear anything like that, so I was just wondering if it was in the middle of the ocean. Of course, there's a possibility that it went down on the way, or that it just didn't come in."

"Hmm, I don't know. I can't help it... I don't have any clues right now."

"Anyway, we have to try to move."

"... when you're young, you can go anywhere."

"There's a big fish off the coast!

That's why I decided to head northwest first. Lute, it's in the middle of the sea. We're never going to the pelagic fishery, Arnha.

After the camera view became available, it was newly discovered... or there was a re-recognized characteristic of my planar magic. It is a spatial indicator, the "coordinate system," which consists of three axes of straight XYZ. 3DCG tools are naturally functional. My planar magic certainly has this in it, and I always see it when I model it in my head. The size and arrangement are determined by this number.

The fact that it is judged by numerical values naturally means that there is a zero origin. The center of the modeling space in my head is the origin, but the origin in real space is set around 50 centimeters in front of me. It wasn't up to me, it was up to me. I can't even move it.

Why this position? The reason is that the monitor was located around here in the previous life. I mean, maybe it was set from my experience. In fact, until now, I have accepted this without any discomfort. I didn't doubt it.

However, this characteristic was newly discovered or recognised by the expression of the camera view. Because 'the XYZ triaxis was also set in real space'.

In my head, it is recognized that the position of the camera is displayed with the number "X: 000Y: □ □ □ Z: △ △ △". Units are meters. When I move, the origin position also moves, so the number of this and □ □ □ also changes.

However, it seems that the three-axis setting itself has not changed. Buchake, East and West are fixed to the X axis, up and down are fixed to the Y axis, and North and South are fixed to the Z axis.

When I noticed this, I recognized it as "Hmm, is that so?" But when I started going out to the sea, I thought it was "really God's function." Because if you take the camera out and move it a little bit from its origin, you know exactly where it's going.

I can't see the sun, stars, or terrain when I'm diving, so this feature is really appreciated. I don't need a compass. You don't have to turn around to reach your destination.

"It's about 150 leaves (450 kilometers) from Gizan to the northwest. It's probably in the middle of the Lute Sea."

"It's only the sea."

You don't have any landmarks.

Umiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

"... no ships."

Day four of exploration. They moved a lot with their eyes on the bottom of the ocean. However, the wreckage of that apparently ship has not yet been found.

Today's answers are Luca and Kikka. But this time, it is not a trick, but a volunteer. For some reason, it seems that the children's health is much better and they feel more comfortable, so I will teach them how to read and write. It is said that all the children are from a rural mountain village and can hardly read or write, and can only write their own names.

Remember, it will be useful in the future, and I have no objection. I mean, you know, I get a lot of nervousness. Think of a reward.

The currents have gradually turned towards the centre of the Lute Sea and are now flowing almost to the west. Maybe we'll slowly turn south from here. Then it will pass near Chito, Oates, on the south side of Lute, and then head north.

The sea floor near the middle of the Lute Sea has little undulation and no islands at all. Is the depth of the water not so deep, on average about 300 meters? Pretty shallow.

Because there is nothing to block it, the current is calm when it reaches here. I barely saw any creatures since I crossed paths with a herd of dolphin-like creatures about 30 minutes ago. Sometimes there are signs of weakness up there, but that's probably a jellyfish. You're being flushed.

"Hah, I'll go back when I find a little more. I think it's very likely that even if it's been flushed to this point, it's not sinking, so it's probably flushed somewhere."

"In that case, it's been more than three months, so you've been halfway around the Sea of Lute."

"If that were the case, it would have been launched on the west coast. But I didn't hear they found it over there, so the ship went north."

"I wonder if that's what happens. I'm back today...!?"

"Yah!? I just shaken a little. Something wrong?

What's going on?

While I was talking to everybody, I was driving the submarine straight west on the current. Raise the camera over the sky and map the surroundings. The camera suddenly moved north (...).

No, we actually moved south. Because the camera is physically non-interferent, it is unlikely that it was moved to something. It would be more logical to assume that we have moved.

But why? Has the current changed? Where there's nothing like this? I can't see. Did something push you? No shock?

"... I don't know. I don't know, but something was wrong. It was suddenly pushed south. There may be something around here. Everybody, be careful. In the meantime, I'll be at sea."

"Ah, I see! Everyone, let's tighten up!

"Ugh!"... yes "" Ok!

... we're all splintered up beautifully.

Bring the submarine back to sea, and then a medium-sized sailboat, and we'll all be on our way. Wu ran around the deck with joy. It didn't calm me down... no, no, it wasn't when I was calm. We need to check the perimeter.

The sun is tilting a little west. About fifteen o'clock in time. If nothing happens, it's time to go back. Well, I'm flying back to the sky right away.

There's nothing there.

"It's your fault, isn't it your balls?

The ship is surrounded by the sea, the sea and the sea, either way, as always. I don't even see the island shadow. Nothing can be seen beyond the surface of the sea, even if it is checked by camera from above.

Biological signs are scarce, with only a few fish and jellyfish in the sea and one seabird in the south.

Is this your fault? Because of some terrain or climatic influences, the currents are just tortuous... seabirds!? Just one in the middle of the ocean!?

"Isn't that seabird crazy?

"What?... it's unnatural to be flying in a place where there's nothing but one."

"That's a slut. A bird that dives into the sea and catches fish and crabs. But you can't dive that deep, so it's funny you're off the coast. It's a flock of birds, so it's funny to have only one bird."

You know a lot, Argna.

"Where seabirds are, fish ants! If you know the type of seabird and the season, you'll probably know what kind of fish there is!

I see, a fish connection. Then I am convinced that Argna is familiar. I'd be glad if you could focus that enthusiasm on your usual studies.

The scalpel is black from the top of the head to the back, and the stomach is white. It's like a penguin color scheme, but it's like a flying bird. There is a rounded red area around the cheeks, which is somehow like a squid. The size may be a little larger than a tin. The size of the wings spread out is a little over 30 centimeters.

The parrot came from the south, passed over our heads, flew north... and disappeared. It's gone!?

"It's gone!?"

"Gone!?"

"Gone!?"

"... has it been erased?

Oh, what a vanishment! Bermuda Triangle in the World!? A fantasy like no fantasy has arrived!? I knew there was something here!
