I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!
Chapter III Prologue
Philanthropy is worthless.
Me [Liam Sella Banfield], the head of the Count of Banfield family, was dealing with one man in the reception room of an overly large mansion that was his home.
"You want me to be a patron?
The man in the suit is an executive of the "Planet Renewal Activities Group".
The activity is the regeneration of the destroyed planet.
It is a group that is trying to restore a planet that has been artificially devastated and rendered uninhabitable.
"Yes, we want you to understand and support our activities."
A man who looks serious seems keen on philanthropy.
Explain to me how many devastated planets there are.
"There are numerous devastated planets due to wars and pirates' barbarism. Can we just abandon those stars like this? There are also many people who have become vagrant people. I want them to have a regenerated planet to live on in the earth."
That's a great idea.
"That's a great ideal. I'm impressed."
"Bye!"
The man looked happy when he thought I was going to be a patron.
"The regeneration of a devastated planet - really great. But I'm not gonna be your patron."
"Huh?"
I'm gonna flirt on the couch, and I'm gonna look at the guy and I'm gonna nibble.
Philanthropy? - I get revulsion.
"You can work for as many people as you want. But stay out of my way. I'm not at all interested in your activities."
Once upon a time - in my previous life, I used to put in change if I looked at the fundraiser.
If this is going to help anyone, I thought so and raised money.
But when I was suffering in my previous life, I even wanted that change so much that I could get my hands out of my throat.
And yet, nobody helped me.
I've raised money scattered, but no one was gracious when I was in pain.
I understand.
- It is no different from self-satisfaction such as charity.
"I hate guys like you. Help others to be precise and self-satisfied."
A man was blushing and trembling at my words like that.
"Oh, is that the word of the lord who is said to be famous! I was hoping for you!
"You can do whatever you want with your expectations. Besides, I'm not in charge of responding. Besides, when did I name myself Famous?
"All the inhabitants count on you. You're famous. How's it going? You're disqualified as a lord for that!
Is this guy stupid?
"The inhabitants are just making mistakes. And that's a pretty rough attitude from earlier."
When I narrowed my eyes, a man was sweating cold.
"Wow, if you get your hands on me, the great aristocrats you're dating won't shut up!
They have big nobles keen on charity.
The brochure says the name of a prestigious nobleman that I have heard of.
It's not uncommon for a large aristocrat who can afford to give money to charity in this way.
I won't, though.
"Did you think if you gave me someone else's name, I'd pull it off? This is my territory. And I am the ruler of this planet. There's nothing wrong with turning one of you off."
No matter how many other houses, there is no way to shelter a man who comes to my realm and preaches.
Exquisite, enough to complain.
Many of the great nobles do not believe that a person's life is worth it.
For us, life is just a number.
"Help as many people as you want. I don't complain, I don't give money. That's all. There's nothing wrong with that, is there?
Intimidating him, the man leaves the room to run away with the brochure left behind.
As I looked at him and laughed at Guerraggera, Tenjo, who had refrained behind me, turned his gaze.
"Sir, I thought you might like that attitude."
You're weak when Tenjo tells you.
I make excuses.
"Don't say that. I hate charity. But if you say so, I'll be a patron. You can have as much money as you want."
He has a tremendous treasure, such as an alchemy box.
It's a great tool to turn the garbage you collect into gold.
Thanks to you, I'm now equal to having an inexhaustible treasure.
Even in that state, I never just want to be charitable.
"Do you hate philanthropy?
Heavenly Castle was strangely necked.
"Naturally."
Even if I answered immediately, Tenjo didn't seem convinced.
"What is it?
"No - our house has already been charitable under your husband's orders. I didn't think you hated it."
"Huh?"
Tenjo talks faintly about the charity I've been running.
"We are buying and regenerating devastated planets to secure pioneering planets. We are also accepting other stray people."
I was surprised to learn that I was doing the same thing as the activities of the Planetary Renewal Activities Group.
"No, look - it's for territorial expansion, not philanthropy"
"Yes, but we also provide infrastructure development as assistance to the small lords who have been revived as foster children. It's not just for territory."
You're helping.
No, 'cause - they're crying for help.
Anyway, the guys who defy you, because they're the ones who move on and become kids - for a little while, yeah.
"- Because I'm just giving candy to the folks at the homecoming who shake their tails"
"There are a variety of other activities -"
Apparently, I've been spreading a lot of money around where I don't know.
But then I couldn't even tell you to stop.
"Besides, that's the best part."
"Arre?"
"It is the treatment of those captured by pirates. The cost of securing human resources, investing in equipment and everything else is enormous."
"Ahhh, that's it"
I mean, I'm going to make sure I have the best people - my ambition is the sake pond meat grove.
To that end, we are rescuing a beautiful woman captured by pirates.
If there's a woman you like, I'll put her on the side, otherwise I'm letting her live in the territory.
I thought if we had kids from beautiful men and beauties in the future, we'd have a better chance of them appearing.
I don't care about cosmetic surgery, but I prefer natural products to aquaculture.
Bad lords are what make their dreams come true for nothing.
However, unfortunately - even with all the help, there are no beauties like this.
My knight candidate, Tia the candidate, was also a competent but somewhat unfortunate guy.
So there's still no beauty around me to make you samurai.
- Tenjo is a different frame.
"But the guys I helped at Kurt's home a while back, I heard they could use it. It's not a waste at all. It's not charity because it's for the territory."
Heavenly Castle seems to have convinced me of my excuses.
"Well, let's do that"
Yes - I'm a man who doesn't do charity or anything.
Everything has a lower heart.
So this isn't charity.
"Sir, the next visitor is greeting the new person in charge of the Third Weapons Plant"
"Huh? What happened to Ulysia?
They're going to change the person in charge of the Third Weapons Plant.
I'm afraid my daughter, Julia, is no longer in charge of me.
"She seems to be re-entering and re-educated in military schools"
"- Why?
Schools exist to re-educate military personnel who have been away from the army for a long time.
But Ulysia is an active soldier.
I don't think you need to be re-educated on purpose?
"I don't know why, but I'm already re-educating. That's why they want to make changes and greetings."
Too bad one of my daughters disappeared.
A little too bad - no, there's another woman who's too sorry, and is there anything else wrong with that?
"Still, that's a lot to see"
"Before your husband enters preschool, you want to see him. If you go to kindergarten school, you won't see each other because of the rarity."
Kindergarten school attended by nobles.
That's like a prep period before you enter a university or cadet school in earnest.
From my senses, it's close to high school.
However, kindergarten schools exist on a different planet from the imperial direct jurisdiction - the capital star.
It is an all-door kindergarten school, but there are too many people enrolled each year - there are real, school-centric cities.
Only noble children can get through.
Exactly the school for nobility.
"- Tenjo, are you ready for a bribe?
Having refrained from attending such a kindergarten school, I confirmed to Tenjo that it was important.
"That's a donation. We have already made a significant donation"
"Right. Looking forward to it."
Although enrolment fees are not required in early childhood schools, the grand aristocrats donate a certain amount because they also have noodles.
However, some of them increase that donation and get conveniences in kindergarten school.
- Like me!
"Try to keep me entertained for six years"
The power of gold is great.
For six years, I made a huge donation to have fun in kindergarten school.
All in order to receive special treatment.
Tenjo was smiling.
"Your husband seems to be having fun, above all."
Banfield family mansion.
Samurai chief's room.
[Celina], the chief samurai who makes the report there, was in front of the video of the prime minister floating in the air.
The opponent is the Imperial Chancellor.
The samurai chief was to serve the Banfield family on Brian's recommendation, but was also a spy told by the prime minister to explore Liam.
"Shall I ask why with regard to the huge donations to kindergarten schools"
"Is it a donation?
'That's right. Teachers in preschool have heads. I wonder what this means.'
"It wouldn't be uncommon to have a nobleman to make a donation to."
'If you're just a nobleman, it means making conveniences for your children. That's how the teachers know. But in Liam the Pirate Hunter, you can't help but hold your head. "
The chief samurai understands what the prime minister wants to say.
"- In kindergarten school, don't you know that Master Liam is clean and white?
"I know. I'm in trouble because I know. They have too many donations and they don't know what to do. Let me hear your answer."
"If that's the case, it's easy. Dear Liam does not want special treatment in kindergarten schools. We want a solid educational environment."
The Chancellor who heard that was also convinced that 'it's still that way'.
The samurai chief recalls that Liam was previously asked more about preschool.
"We were interested in the story that in early childhood schools we were making up for the budget shortfall with donations. You were conceived to talk to me about a lot of stupid nobles making large donations to get special treatment. He must have been moaning."
I get good treatment just because I'm a grand aristocrat.
The chief samurai saw Liam thinking about it.
"Such an environment is not what Liam wants"
'You're young, but you're too firm. Are things still the same at the mansion?
"Yes. I have been working out, encouraging my studies in the morning, and doing my affairs. I also mouth when it comes to manners, but you don't have to take a slice of anything else"
"It's too unrealistic. Any interesting stories? It's more realistic if you're playing a little bit. '
The samurai chief laughs in a quarrel.
"Like someone else, dictating palace maids to your breath, etc?
"- I was young back then. Does the Count have a story like that?
The Chancellor returning to Liam looked a little lit up.
The chief samurai looks a little troubled.
"I'm also talking to Brian, but I'm not even trying to get my hands on it at all. It's true that you're too serious to be in trouble."
I don't even look at the maids in my mansion or the daughters in my foster home who are coming to train.
I could have said it was my only concern for Liam.
"Is Too Serious As Ever"
"I'm also thinking of accepting you as a full wife, even if you're somewhat underrated, if you can be a girlfriend in kindergarten school"
'- I have trouble getting on edge with a very troublesome house. What about the pageant?'
"The Banfield family has done terrible things so far, Master Liam. Regardless of his personal credibility, he has little credibility as a home. Other houses are treading on two feet."
Liam's father and grandfather were too harsh for other houses to refuse, even as they set up matchmaking seats.
Anyway, Liam, the individual thinks of the house as dating each other - I still don't have any credibility.
They suspected Liam might make a change of heart.
So a lot of houses are watching things until after training.
In this world, fifty years of experience is worth only that much.
At the very least, with a hundred years of experience, the matchmaking would have come in one after the other.
That is all evidence that Liam's father and grandfather were terrible.
'I guess. I hesitate.' Cause that's why I'm sending you to see how it goes. '
Whether to take it in or leave it - it was Selina, the chief samurai, who was sent to identify it.
The Chancellor seemed a little anxious.
'There will also be the issue of dowry, but His Royal Highness will also be enrolled in preschool. I want you to be careful around there. Pay some attention to the Count.'
Celina also remembered and gave a subtle look.
"Your Highness - Your Highness Wallace, right? I didn't know you and Master Liam were gonna be classmates."
One of the Empire's princes - [Wallace Noah Albarate] - was to be enrolled in preschool as Liam's classmate.
