I Reincarnated as a Losing Heroine, the Hero’s Childhood Friend Who Lost to the Main Heroine, so I Switched Jobs to Alchemist
101: Childhood training and junior
The heroine of this world met safely that day - but the people of Lustu, including Diona, seemed busy preparing, and greetings were there, to be dissolved immediately.
I felt kind of emotional that the moment Lukersch and Diona met, at last, this was the time. Would Lukersch have realized today that she was the girl she once dreamed of?
But there's something that bothered me about this encounter. It was a lukersch of how he felt something about meeting Diona, but on the other hand, Diona, the heroine, looked pale. Were you tired or nervous? Before she left the room, she looked slightly blue-faced and couldn't leave her back of her brain.
- Laura?
I was stuffy thinking about it, and Lukersch accidentally peered into my face. He stares at me with blue eyes and tells me that he was in the midst of guiding me through the castle to childhood.
In view of the childhood tampering that I was told about getting tired early on in my arrival, I tried to get him to rest in the room this morning, but Lukersch forced me to "show him around the castle".
"Sorry, I was a little confused. Yeah... Oh, here, in the mixing room."
On the way down the long corridor where the light of day plunges in, I find the door to the conditioning room that is being given to me, and I look back towards Lukersch. Then he glanced at my words and said, "Can I come in? I've heard."
I nod and invite Lukersch into the mixing room. "Wow," he looked around, wondering if he had entered the room with momentum.
"This is Laura's place of work... amazing"
Observe the top of the mixing table, glance inside the cabinet, and follow the back cover of the bookshelf with a gaze. Watching Lukersch smile like that - fu, I remembered I was missing telling him what to tell him.
"That's right. Tell me what's missing or what you need. 'Cause we'll get everything we can."
"Yeah, thanks.... sounds kind of great when they say it like that"
Haha, and I made Lukersch laugh somewhere lonely.
Lukersch has stuffed his distance from me, which had left him because of looking around, fast paced. I think, I dive into my voice and ask softly.
"Hey, Laura. I'm not doubting what Laura says... but I wonder if there really is a demon king. Honestly, I can't really feel it. This power of mine does work against demons, but the king... might be able to get rid of the demon king, I can't believe it."
I don't know how to answer words that include bumped confusion, and I push silence.
The question of childhood tampering would be very natural. Suddenly they call, reveal the existence of the Demon King, and your powers are valid for the Demon King, etc. - it's weirder not to be confused.
Should I give Lukersch some information about the Demon King in “I” 's memory - although I was unsure, I closed my opening mouth at the spot. The demon king who knows “I” is the demon king of "Last Brave," not the demon king of this world. In a world where there are many differences from "Last Brave," it's no surprise that the Demon King also has more than one difference from "Last Brave".
Incorrect information, extra information can create unwanted confusion.
Taking a big, deep breath, I opened my mouth to just tell her how I felt about "wanting to save Elvira".
"I honestly don't know the truth either... but"
"You want to save me about Elvira?
The words I tried to go on were spoken out of Lukersch's mouth, word for word, and I thought, "Huh?" and raises the missing voice between them.
The childhood tame ahead with his face up had a very gentle look on his face.
"Correct?"
"Ugh, yeah. Correct."
Nodding, Lukersch narrows his eyes even more.
With that look on his face, Lukersch said in a soft voice.
"I was wondering if Laura would say that. I feel the same way about that, so I'm not sure about the Demon King or anything, but I'll help. As much as I can. I can't believe that little girl's gonna lose her life."
The smile remained intact and Lukersch gazed at his right hand.
"Besides, in case my power helps save people... I want to do what I can"
The words overflowing with determination belong to the undisputed "brave man”. I honestly find myself impressed.
Lukersch is still a fifteen-year-old boy, although he does have a special power not found in others: the power of the brave. Still, he is sure, trying to carry the mission of the brave man himself.
"It's amazing how that sounds, Lukersch. If I were you, I'd be confused."
If he revealed his honest emotions, Lukersch turned the grin he was floating into a bitter laugh, wondering if he had seen this one with a proper face.
"What are you talking about? I saw what Laura was like, and this is what I started thinking."
"Huh?"
"Laura's saving a lot of people's lives with healing pills, isn't she? You know, I respect Laura for choosing a profession to play a role in people.... That's what I think I want to be like Laura too."
I couldn't react to words thrown directly in front of me that I never thought I would.
Lukersch did say something about me that was "proud childhood tame". Plus I've seen what he says and does like he respects the profession of conditioner. But - this was also the first time they had told me that they were affected by me face to face.
"That's... an honor. Thanks."
Think about it, it's in that one word that I finally squeezed out.
Now is the time to do the cook with the desire to save the autistic patient - Elvira, but initially I went for this job to get away from the brave man (Lukersch). Beyond the trigger being so, I feel like a hindsight, embarrassed, when I am praised by Lukersch for myself as a conditioner.
- When the conversation came to a paragraph and Lukersch began to observe everywhere again, the door to the conditioning room was knocked. Reply, "Go ahead," and the door opens with momentum.
"- Oh, there he is! Laura!"
Looks like Iris was the one who opened the door. Behind it is also Mr. Basilio.
"Iris and Mr. Basilio, what's wrong?
Speaking up, Iris looks delighted with Nico, and Mr. Basilio enters the room with his shoulders round, as he feared. And when he stood beside me, he turned to Lukersch with that look on his face.
To a sudden visitor, Lukersch had his eyes round. Speaking of which, you promised to introduce Lukersch to the two juniors, and I call out to you to do something about the subtle air on this occasion.
"Yeah, I'll introduce you. My juniors Iris and Mr. Basilio."
Junior, Lukersch's eyes grew bigger on the word - after a few seconds, he smiled relieved. I could see that Mr. Basilio, standing next to that expression, breathed relief.
From Mr. Basilio's reaction, I presume he was caught up in what the great Iris said out of the blue. Did Iris invite Mr. Basilio to say hello when he heard from Mr. Leanhardt that Lukersch was coming?
"Nice to meet you, I'm Iris!
"I say basilio. Best regards,"
To the naive Iris, Mr. Basilio with a soft waist. You totally allowed yourself to combine those two, and Lukersch introduced himself with a smile.
"You know, you're Laura's childhood friend, right? What kind of place do you live?
"In a small village surrounded by nature called Emme's Village..."
Watching the three of us having a soothing conversation from a place a little further away, I noticed that a bag of anesthetic cloth was left unwrought in the corner of the futon room. I don't remember putting that stuff there, I'll open it up to see what the hell's in it. Then - there were multiple missing containers.
(ahhh...... maybe the one I totally forgot about trying to dispose of later)
I think I might forget it again if I let it go like this, and I glance at the three of them. He still talks soothingly, and he doesn't seem to be exhausted. Rather, it looks like a lot of fun to see Iris as well as Lukersch and Mr. Basilio laugh out loud.
If this looks like it, it would be okay for just the three of us for a little while, I think.
"Sorry, I'm gonna throw out a little trash."
That's all I left to say, I left the mixing room.
Walk down the hallway feeling fast. And I tried to bend the corner - with the shadow that suddenly appeared, and I was about to bump into it.
"Wow!"
Stop right where you are and take a few steps back. Without recognizing who I was about to bump into, I said, "Excuse me! ♪ And he shouted ♪
"Oh, that, Mr. Diona?
I finally realized that the identity of the person was Diona. I stare indignantly wondering if I might have been injured somewhere - I notice that complexion.
"Mr. Diona, you look pale, but..."
"Diona, where are you!?
A man's voice calling Diona to block my words rocks his eardrum. Diona in front of me momentarily shook her shoulder tingly - what a grab and run out of my wrist.
Stay pulled, I run behind Diona. I thought I'd call that name confusing, but it's obvious she's running away from someone - given the possibility that someone will notice me in my voice, I can only follow her silently.
Her fingertips grabbing my wrist were cold as ice.
