They were Oil King No. 7, Oil King No. 13, and Oil King No. 15.
The genetic data observable from these three varieties in their seedling stage was outstanding.
Oil King No. 7: under ideal conditions, its maximum yield could reach 230 kilograms of camellia seed oil per mu. Its other characteristics were excellent, but its drawback was that it couldn’t be cultivated north of the Yangtze River, and its oil quality was average.
Oil King No. 13: under ideal conditions, its maximum yield could reach 200 kilograms of camellia seed oil per mu. It was characterized by its cold and drought resistance, and its oil quality was top-tier.
Oil King No. 15: under ideal conditions, its maximum yield could reach 270 kilograms of camellia seed oil per mu. Its oil quality was average, but its drawbacks were a lack of drought and cold resistance. It could only be grown south of the Yangtze River, preferably in Lingnan, Guangxi Province, and Min Province.
After finalizing these three camellia oil varieties, Jiang Miao gave them official commercial names: Oil King No. 7—Fengcha, Oil King No. 13—Hanxiang, and Oil King No. 15—Nanwang.
He called for Zhang Chengdong, who was concurrently managing the tissue culture and nursery lab.
"Cheng Dong, I need you to arrange the tissue culture propagation for these three camellia saplings. Before next year, we need to produce enough saplings to graft tens of thousands of mu of camellia trees."

Currently, the genetically modified silk floss tree with the lowest rejection reaction had a rejection rate between 0.75% and 0.94% when grafted with old durian scions.
The grafting rejection reaction between this same genetically modified silk floss tree and a normal silk floss tree was between 0.012% and 0.037%.
Based on what Jiang Miao was currently seeing, this type of genetically modified silk floss tree was ready for use.
