Yu Changsheng asked softly, his eyes glinting.

After breaking through to Foundation Establishment and returning from the Yu Family, Yu Changsheng had specifically instructed Yu Dahai to search for rare Spirit Beasts to advance his own Spirit Pet.

The Cyan Luo Beast was one of these special Spirit Beasts.

"Yes, yes," Yu Dahai quickly nodded, relaying all the information he had gathered.

"It’s news from just yesterday. I heard that traces of a Cyan Luo Beast have appeared on Red Lake Mountain in Dongyang City. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve already sent a few disciples to check it out and notified the family."

The Cyan Luo Beast was one of the Spirit Beasts Yu Changsheng had specifically requested to keep an eye out for. It was a Tier Two, Wood Element Spirit Beast. Its combat prowess wasn’t exceptional, but it possessed a unique talent: a healing ability!

This ability was incredible; its bloodline was considered top-tier among healing Spirit Beasts.

Because of this powerful healing ability, it was highly coveted. It was priceless and practically impossible to find. After all, possessing one meant a much greater chance of survival in the wilderness.

They were even more precious than many powerful tamed beasts. Their only drawback was a low upper limit; it was difficult for them to break through to become a Third-stage Spirit Beast. Tier Two Peak was essentially their ceiling.

Even so, a Cyan Luo Beast was more than sufficient as a material for the Colorful Star Deer’s advancement.

"News of this Spirit Beast came from Dongyang City?"

Yu Changsheng was surprised and fell into deep thought.

Yu Changsheng was noncommittal, asking instead, "Tell me about the situation in Dongyang City."

"Of course. Dongyang City is one of the few major cities in the border regions of the Wanxiang Sect. To its east lies the vast Cangyang Mountain Range."

"As a result, it’s rich in natural resources, with no shortage of things like Spirit Beasts. Red Lake Mountain is the tallest peak on the outer edge of the Cangyang Mountain Range."

Yu Dahai continued, recalling the details for Yu Changsheng:

"The city’s internal politics are a tangled web, with multiple family factions entrenched there. The city itself is immense, far larger than our Yu Family’s Bright Moon City, so it’s been difficult for any single power to gain absolute control."

"The most prominent among them are the Huo Family, the Lin Family, and the Tang Family.

The Huo Family’s primary industry in Dongyang City revolves around their Pure Yang Wine, while the Lin Family’s main business is Ice Silkworm Silk.

Thanks to Dongyang City’s uniquely advantageous location as a transport hub, both families’ businesses have influence that radiates throughout the surrounding region, and they are even well-known in the Fish Market.

However, it’s said that neither of these two families is native to the area. Their true headquarters are elsewhere, making their presence here merely a branch. Only the Tang Family is a true local power. Consequently, the relationship between the three is naturally poor. As Yu Dahai relayed this information, Yu Changsheng listened quietly. Once he had a general picture, he nodded slightly and mulled it over for a moment.

He meant it. There was no telling what dangers awaited in Dongyang City. But now that he had reached the Foundation Establishment Second Layer, he was confident he could escape unscathed, no matter what happened.

But bringing Yu Dahai along was a different story. While a Qi Refining Eighth Layer cultivation was decent, if they were truly targeted, Yu Dahai would only be a liability.
