"Ten Thousand Spirits Technique! Touch Spirit!"

As the Ten Thousand Spirits Technique began to circulate, his Divine Sense expanded with it. In an instant, every minute fluctuation in the world around him was clearly transmitted into Yu Changsheng’s mind.

As he immersed his mind, the gentle breeze, the green leaves in the forest, the fish in the lake... and even the blades of grass in the wilderness all seemed to bow towards Yu Changsheng, conveying a sense of affection.

Yu Changsheng appeared thoughtful, a smile touching his eyes. With a slight flicker of his will, he gently attached a wisp of his Spiritual Sense to a bird passing through the sky.

The bird seemed to feel it too, chirping happily as it flapped its wings. At the same time, its vision was shared with Yu Changsheng.

Although Yu Changsheng’s Divine Sense had reached the Golden Core level, Red Lake Mountain was too vast to cover completely. But with the Ten Thousand Spirits Technique, he had other ways to gather as much information as possible.

The mountain range shrank below as endless trees filled his field of vision. The bird chirped and flew faster. As the view blurred past, Yu Changsheng focused his perception but came up with nothing.

’It seems there are no Cyan Luo Beasts to the east,’ Yu Changsheng mused, though he wasn’t disappointed.

Just then, a flock of wild geese flew past, brushing by the small bird. With a flicker of his will, Yu Changsheng transferred the wisp of his Spiritual Sense from the bird to one of the geese at the rear of the flock.

His vision shifted again as the geese flew west. Along the way, he spotted many other Loose Cultivators also searching for the Cyan Luo Beast, but his own search remained fruitless.

Undiscouraged, Yu Changsheng watched as a goose dove low, shooting into the water like a sword. As it pulled out a fish, his Spiritual Sense followed, attaching itself to another fish in the river.

The fish swam with all its might, and the view of both riverbanks was transmitted to Yu Changsheng’s mind. Streams of information flooded into his brain like a tidal wave.

HISS...

Yu Changsheng sucked in a sharp breath. He rubbed the spot between his eyebrows as an aching soreness spread through his mind, but it was bearable.

Soon, his vision changed again as his Spiritual Sense attached itself to a snake in the mountains. An hour later, it moved to a fluttering butterfly, following another ripple of life...

Six hours passed in this way, with his vision constantly shifting. Soon, Yu Changsheng had finished scouting most of the lower regions of Red Lake Mountain.

Just as he transferred his Spiritual Sense to a bee, faint ripples echoed in the void. Yu Changsheng’s spirit jolted, and he directed the bee toward their source.

"Huo Wei Yi, Lin Kaiji, what is the meaning of this? I was the one who discovered this Cyan Luo Beast first. This is hardly appropriate, is it?!"

Before the bee even arrived, Tang He’s grim voice carried over.

The bee flew faster, following the voice, and several figures came into view.

He saw members of the three great families locked in a standoff by the lake. A Spirit Beast, entirely cyan and with the body of a hornless deer, was trapped under a giant black net, unable to struggle free.

The giant black net was clearly a powerful Magical Treasure. The other five members of the Tang Family, besides Tang He, stood at each corner of the net. As their Cultivation and Magical Power surged, the Black Net flickered and continuously shrank.

BAA~

The Cyan Luo Beast struggled, its cry like that of a sheep, but it was extremely weak and on the verge of death. It didn’t seem like it could last much longer. A shocking, massive sword gash ran across its abdomen, bleeding profusely as its Vitality drained away.

Normally, an ordinary Spirit Beast would have died from such a severe injury long ago. But this beast was special. With every rise and fall of its breath, waves of cyan light enveloped the wound, somehow allowing it to cling to life.

In fact, if it weren’t trapped, the Cyan Luo Beast could have recovered quickly given some time.

But now, the Cyan Luo Beast had clearly reached its limit. It was an arrow at the end of its flight. With so many people eyeing it greedily, no amount of struggling would do any good.

BAA~~

The Cyan Luo Beast cried out pitifully. Its eyes actually revealed a human-like sorrow and despair. The cyan light on its body flickered, and its injuries seemed to be healing at an accelerated rate.

’This Cyan Luo Beast is truly incredible. It was heavily wounded by Tang He in one blow and has been trapped in this Black Spirit Net for so long, yet it’s still not dead?’

’A precious Spirit Beast indeed. Its entire body is a treasure, especially its Cyan Luo Heart, which is priceless. If I could get it and sell it at auction, I might even be able to trade it for a Small Realm Breaking Pill and increase my Cultivation by a whole layer...’

As these thoughts swirled, the fervent glint in the eyes of Huo Wei Yi, Lin Kaiji, and the others as they stared at the Cyan Luo Beast was completely unconcealed.

Huo Wei Yi and Lin Kaiji were, of course, the Patriarchs of the Huo and Lin Families.

Seeing Tang He’s dark and livid expression, Lin Kaiji chuckled lightly and waved his hand.

"Patriarch Tang, what you’re saying isn’t quite right. This Cyan Luo Beast is a creature of heaven and earth, not the exclusive property of your Tang Family. Naturally, whoever finds it has the right to fight for it."

"Exactly," Huo Wei Yi nodded in agreement. "What’s that saying? Those who see it get a share. The Cyan Luo Beast is so large, Tang He. It’s not very sporting of you to try and take it all for yourself."

"You two are truly shameless, aren’t you?" Tang He laughed in fury. "My Tang Family was the one who discovered this Cyan Luo Beast from the very beginning. Now that I’m just about to capture it, you shamelessly jump in."

"Are you trying to bully the Tang Family, thinking we have no one to stand up for us? Or... do you think I, Tang He, have gotten too old to lift my blade?"

Tang He’s gaze turned icy, and his voice grew cold. The full aura of his Foundation Establishment Fifth Layer cultivation erupted without reservation, suppressing the area as waves of power swept through the air.

Seeing this, Huo Wei Yi and Lin Kaiji exchanged a look, a trace of wariness flashing in their eyes. After taking a deep breath, they both stepped forward in unison. The auras of their own Foundation Establishment Fourth Layer cultivation flared up in opposition.

"You’re at the Foundation Establishment Fifth Layer, Tang He, that’s true," Huo Wei Yi said without a hint of fear. "But we have the advantage in numbers. If we really come to blows, you won’t get the upper hand." He glanced at the Cyan Luo Beast, his greed obvious.

"Oh? Is that so?" Tang He was undaunted, smirking with contempt. "Then let’s put it to the test."

The moment the words left his mouth, his figure shot toward the two like a sword. A Treasure Sword, gleaming with cold light, appeared in his hand. With a mere flick of his sleeve, an astonishing burst of Sword Qi erupted.

Huo Wei Yi and Lin Kaiji didn’t dare to be careless. After nodding to each other, they joined forces to fight back. For a time, they exchanged blows, attacking and defending in a back-and-forth battle.

For a moment, Tang He fought two against one without falling behind. He even seemed to be faintly suppressing them, a testament to his terrifying combat prowess.

No one noticed—or perhaps, even if they did, they wouldn’t have paid it any mind—that a tiny bee had landed on a branch, watching everything unfold without missing a single detail.
