I Was a Sword When I Reincarnated (WN)
141 Entrance to Ulmut
It wasn't until four days after we left Barbora that we arrived in Urmut.
There were no major incidents on the road to highlight. If I dare to mention it, I guess I've wiped out a herd of about 20 goblins, though it didn't take me three minutes.
Ulmut, who took 4 days to get there, was a smaller town than I thought. It won't even extend to Barbora, but it will be less than half the size compared to Aretha.
But from a distance, it had a more impactful appearance than I imagined. If you look from the back of the Ursi running through the sky, you can see its unusual construction well.
What catches your eye are the high, thick outer walls that cover the entire town and the huge cylindrical buildings that soar on the east and west edges of the town.
First of all, there's something wrong with the outer wall. Do towns of this size need this level of exterior walls? I think the height is about the same as Barbora's and the thickness is better beaten by Urmut.
And a mysterious cylindrical building. It is a level that is likely to function as a fort on its own if it is outside the town. When I first saw it, I thought it was a shelter or something. What facility is it?
"Well, you know what I mean?"
"Mmm."
"On"
Well, I think I'm gonna break a bone to get into town in the first place.
There was a 1000-man queue at the entrance to the town of Urmut. Thanks. It seems adventurers, merchants and tourists are pushing at once to match the militant tournament.
That's right ~. It seems to be one of the leading events in the Kranzel Kingdom.
Get down a little far from town and line up.
This just doesn't go any further.
I heard the merchant chatter lined up before, and Urmut seems to be a little harsh on his first admission, other than the adventurer, because there are two dungeons. Do you think people will ask me why I came to the main gate?
If I sign up once, I'll be able to get in and out of other gates normally for six months. Only once a year, tourists and merchants who come only on militant tournament days have to be in line.
I tried to be a person who comes here every year, and it seems like it's like a festive poem. It's a success because there are merchants in this queue who want to sell food. Alcohol and others are also sold, and there are even those who sit on the ground and start serving alcohol.
If I said it on Earth, would it be like a queue before the opening of the comic book? Events are already starting at the point of alignment, right?
But some of them can't wait. It's the first adventurers and civilians I've visited here.
Especially the rough adventurers seem frustrated, and skirmishes are taking place everywhere. I don't see you developing into a fight, but one of these days it's going to be a brawl.
Don't you see how they're making extra slow progress in the line? We watched those guys coldly in line.
"Goblin."
(Auga)
"Uh, Dragon."
(Cobolt)
'Wait a minute. Uh, Demon.'
(Kimyra)
"Hmm."
I taught you, old times. Playing East-West games now, killing time. Now it's under the name of a monster. It's all over East and West now.
But my spare time abruptly ended. It's not like the line's over and it's our turn to file.
"Hey kid. Hey, come here."
A bearded adventurer called out in a great manner. That's a low status. Not much more than Rank E.
……
"Hey! Kid!
……
"This! Ignoring is good courage!
……
Well, Fran is thinking about the next answer and completely ignores it. The adventurer is angry with his face red.
(Hmm)
"Hey, Fran."
(Hmm? Master surrender?
"No, I'm not. I'm a customer."
"Hmm?"
When Fran finally raised his face, the adventurer man began to intimidate and raise his voice.
"I tried to make you drink over there, but I won't forgive you anymore!
"Shut up."
"Hey, here! You're making fun of me!
It seems the man's anger has reached its limit when Fran snarls annoyingly by holding his cat ear against Petan. It's annoying to hear from you unilaterally.
"I'm gonna give you a silly, painful look!
Short-circuit waved his fist up. With all these eyes, you're seriously stupid. Or the calculation that if you threaten Fran or a witness, you can seal your mouth? Or is it the son of a powerful man in town or something?
"Mmm."
Either way, it doesn't make any difference what Fran does.
Fran, sullied at the man's arm when he was beaten, sticks his little fist up the man's dovetail. It won't look as if I put so much effort into it when I see it. You must even wonder if there is damage to the man.
But the spectators will doubt their own eyes. In fact, there's been a lot of noise.
"Guh!"
A man was blowing up about 5 meters and rolling a gobble down the ground.
"Oh, did you cut him off?
(Not enough to pull out the master)
"Ugh..."
The guy's freaking out and cramping, reversing blood and all sorts of stuff, but he deserves it, doesn't he? I tried to hit a girl who wasn't even this old. You just don't get slashed, do you?
But some of them don't either.
"Hey, Burrus! Are you all right!"
"What the fuck did you do to Burrus, you little brat!
"Hey, isn't that too much!
It seems to be the name Burrus, the fellow men who are still not squatting on the ground. What he tried to do also comes up on the shelf, yelling at Fran with his mouth.
Apparently, they're all drunk. Her face is bright red. I also found out why Burrus was too short-tempered. But I can't forgive you for being drunk.
The men who had unleashed their weapons were blown away at the next moment and rolled to the ground just like Burrus.
"Wow."
"Hey."
We'll do it ourselves. Oh, my God, the diagram of the four men gauging is so dirty. The people in line also distance themselves from the four and look at them with disgusting eyes.
I'm sorry. We were the first ones to make a fight.
Um, should I clean it up somewhere? If I was worried, an old man came near me.
"Hey, you're strong."
An aristocratic-style Dada man with all-back gray hair and accumulated white jawbeard, who would be over 60 years old but with a very even figure, made him feel his strength as a warrior. The clothes worn are also subtly embroidered, and the luxury and goods live together.
Even so, I didn't expect Nico to talk to me in this situation. Either you have so much liver sitting around or you can't read the air.
"My name is Diaz. And you?"
"Fran."
"Are you an adventurer?
"Mmm."
"I see. Cute and strong, this is promising for the future."
Hmm. Who is this old man? I don't feel hostile, and I'm not gazing at you like I'm taking a price step.
Sounds aristocratic, but I didn't name my family earlier. Aren't you noble or too famous to be named?
It was when I tried to appraise him, I saw soldiers rushing from the gate.
"Hey there kid!
Quite a sword screen. Apparently, it's not just an excuse that it's self-defense. I wish the people around me would testify......
When Fran turned his gaze to the merchant-style men lining up front and back, he was distracted from Hui. He doesn't want to get involved in trouble.
"Totally. Trouble."
"Even though I'm busy."
"Do you want to talk to me in the jar for now?"
"Ooh, follow me"
I've been in line for an hour. This would suck if we rearranged again.
And these soldiers, they have a bad attitude. My eyes on Fran are cold. It doesn't seem strange to get stuck in a barn without even listening to me like this.
More than that, what about the men who still fall asleep? These soldiers, they're trying to take only Fran with four left unattended. Why not?
But there's no reason to run. It was Fran who had no choice but to get there, but Diaz was stopping it.
"Wait a minute. She's not bad."
"Yeah? Who are you?
A soldier stares at Diaz with a great attitude.
"Is this one boring again?
That's what I thought...
"Ko, this is Dear Diaz!
"What are you doing in a place like this?
"No, you just happened to walk through here."
This old man, he was a pretty powerful man. Maybe he's really aristocratic.
"Was it"
"Again, she's not bad. The guys rolling there all over are bad. If you want to take them, that's them. I'm sorry it gets dirty, but I need you to take them. Right?"
"Ha ha!
Wow. You know what? These soldiers, they had trouble carrying four dirty adult men, and they were only trying to take Fran. Maybe Fran had been made to be really bad. Thank you, Diaz.
The soldiers stood the men up in a great panic and pulled away.
"Thanks"
"You're welcome, because I just wanted to prevent a promising adventurer like you from getting caught up in something less dramatic."
"Why?"
"Hehe. It's time for me to go. Okay, I'll see you later, okay?
Diaz left behind a profound word and left in a refreshing manner. What the hell is that? Well, he said later or something, and you know what I mean when I get into Ulmut?
"Free time"
"Right."
Though it's still going to take some time to get into Ulmut.
"Oh, I forgot to appraise Diaz"
