I Was a Sword When I Reincarnated (WN)
276 Bestia Royal Castle
Take Gwendalfa as your guide, 20 minutes after you leave the Adventurer Guild.
We were in front of the royal castle.
"Big ~. That's the royal castle of a country"
I could see it even on the road from the guild, but when I looked up from the front of the gate again, I was overwhelmed by its beauty. The walls surrounding the Wang capital Bestia were also quite high, but the walls of the Royal Castle are also heavily built to beat it.
Gwendalfa's description suggests that the castle itself can be caged as a fortress when it comes to troubles.
The water moat strewn around the wall was also quite wide, whether it was wartime conscious. And it looks deep.
Gwendalfa is handing something to the gatekeeper holding back beside the bouncing bridge hung in the moat. Apparently, it's your ID. Then we talked about not just Gwendalfa, but Fran letting us through as well.
"The identity of Princess Black Thunder is not a problem because the Alliance proves it. It's a level of ID that gives you an immediate view of the king."
I thought it was a lot trusted just to bring a letter, but I guess there's some desire to take Fran in.
Fran himself is not quite sure yet, but there is a tremendous amount of attention within the Beast Man. At any rate, it can be said that it is truly legendary that it is an evolutionary black cat race, even though it was said that it cannot evolve. I traveled through the kingdom of the Beasts and I understood the influence very well.
Saying that you will earn that franc's trust is also likely to generate some benefit in the future.
The Beast King issued me an ID, probably because he thinks the same thing. No, hasn't the Beast King thought of anything? However, I think I was definitely thinking around Royce, the escort and staff officer.
I don't mean to hold back that thought, but we decided to give the identity card that the Beast King gave us. In entering an unknown place called the Royal Castle, we thought it would be safer to have permission from the superior. Not unless something unforeseen happens inside the royal castle.
"This"
"This... please wait a moment!
They also have tools at the entrance to the royal castle to determine if your ID is authentic. I saw the soldier hanging his ID on something like a crystal. He then returns his ID in a polite manner.
"Oh, I'll pay you back. Oh, please come through."
"I didn't know you had a permit with the Beast King's mark on it... you didn't need me"
"That's not true"
"I appreciate you saying that..."
Gwendalfa didn't seem to think he was doing much good, but that's not true, as Fran says.
If it had been just us, they would have definitely suspected us. Should have been in custody for longer, whether the permit was real or not. Even if that could have been avoided, thank you enough.
My attitude has changed astonishingly. I guess that's all meritocracy when you say rhinoceros. Gododarfa wasn't as bad as Gwendalfa either, but he was baking his care after losing to Fran.
And when I go through the gates, the big walls come into my eyes again.
"Wall again."
"Beyond it is a castle"
"What do you mean? So, where are we?
"This is mainly where there are stuffs and residences for soldiers and servants, exchanges for merchants in and out of the country, etc."
I see. You mean a place where people, other than the royal nobility, work in the royal castle gather.
"Beyond this wall, I'd say a true royal castle"
"How do we get in?
"This way."
A short walk along the wall saw a gate so large that it could not be beaten by the front gate. Gwendalfa enters the mansion beside it.
That was the reception for entering the royal castle. There are multiple soldiers stationed just like the entrance, and it seems we have to apply here to get inside the royal castle.
"I want to see Master Chiara. Take care of it. If you could tell me that Gwendalfa and Princess Black Thunder are here, you'd understand."
"Okay. Please wait."
We were led straight to a very luxurious private room. Apparently, the reason this reception building is mansion size is because there are multiple rooms available.
Sometimes they wait a long time, depending on who they go after. Some of the guests will be quite powerful, and I guess I can't tell them to stand around and wait.
The servant brought us tea and snacks, but they were made to eat in an instant by the Frans. Gwendalfa deserves to eat that giant too.
Wait a while as you sit back on the fuzzy couch. Then, Gwendalfa shrugged bossy as he was impressed.
"The name of Princess Black Thunder is amazing after all."
"What do you mean?
"This room belongs to the aristocrats, it's also for the superiors. Pretty fancy tea and sweets, too."
Oh, really? Whatever the room is, it's surprising that Gwendalfa can spot that. Fran seemed to think so too, staring seriously at Gwendalfa.
"Don't look so strange. Even so, he is the eldest son of a lineage that leads to a chief. When I was younger, I used to be quite a cadet. I jumped right out and became an adventurer."
He had an unexpectedly aristocratic childhood. No, you can't even imagine it from what it looks like right now. What made you an adventurer after Gododarfa?
Upon learning of the unexpected appearance of Gwendalfa, a woman, not a servant, came to call two. If you follow after that, you can finally get inside the royal castle.
"Dear Chiara, please wait in this room"
Don't go in quite a bit. I went through a few big doors along the way, and I wonder if it's a place pretty far back in the royal palace?
"If I had gone to a suburban practice area before, I would have easily met you. Since you fell ill, you've often been off in the living room given you in the back of the Imperial Castle."
"Not feeling well? Are you all right?
"I'm worried that you're old enough to see me like this, but it shouldn't be a serious situation."
I'm close to 70, and I guess I can't help that.
"Finally."
"Mmm."
