Track making, which has been a dream for many years.

I decided to make it magical, just like the roads, rather than ordinary construction.

I haven't spelled it yet, but in this railroad construction, I created it as a spell, and I'm thinking of extending the railroad to various places by other Vulcan knights.

So basically, we're going to lay the tracks straight, just like the road.

Moreover, we decided to create a truly simple single-line track with no switches or other devices to switch between tracks along the way.

Confirm the land on which to lay new tracks, where the preceding Balkan knights first [leveling].

Then lay a straight line from Vulcania towards Dressina for now.

With balloons and airships in advance, and checking from the sky, the leader calculates to be able to draw straight lines in the direction of the dresser without any dimensional craziness in [automatic calculation], so there is no doubt.

After that, I put my hand on the ground and sent magic.

I use my magic to lay the rails with the soil on the ground.

As a matter of fact, there was something that was actually made about the rail, and I remembered it in [Memory Storage] so I could make it right away.

Rails have been made in Vulcania before.

It is in a forest reserve that has been systematically harvested by trees, even in the forests north of Vulcania.

To make it easier for harvested timber to travel to Vulcania, they built rails on which they could roll wheels.

We will use the rail to build a track.

Create a track that won't easily break even if an earthquake happens again.

To do this, the soil under the ground is transformed into a hardened brick floor.

In the meantime, it is designed so that water flows to the left and right grooves when it rains on the same ground with slight roundness as when roads are being built.

And then we build a rail on such a foundation.

This will also be made of hardened bricks.

However, the hardened brick used for the rail was made to look more polished than before.

When I made the road out of hardened bricks, I made it into hardened bricks that polished up like mirrors, and it slipped like a skating rink.

Especially when it rained and wet.

Too slippery made it a beautiful way to walk but extremely dangerous.

Therefore, it was said that what was completed as a spell called "road laying" was made into a slightly rough, non-slip cobblestone.

but rails may also slip better than that to reduce friction resistance.

The track followed by two straight I-shaped rails appeared on the ground with my magic.

If you absolutely need a curve, just make iron rails and build it.

In the meantime, I spelled it so that I could create this straight rail track.

So I put my hand on the ground and I made a rail that would stretch straight forever, and I moved forward.

"Boy, I put a train on the tracks. You can start commissioning at any time."

"Okay. All right, let's move on. Let's go."

Straight line from Vulcania to Dressina.

When it was finished, the magic of railroad construction could not be spelled yet.

But once the railroad construction stopped there, I decided to run the train over the rail.

When the old man says he's ready, he tells me to start the train.

Hearing that, the train proceeded smoothly over the track.

However, using the word "train" is completely different from the train I have seen in my previous life.

I mean, I've never actually seen this before in my life, but it's called a carriage railroad.

I decided to use Valkyrie's power to power the train running on the tracks I built.

I went out of my way to create an environment where trains could run, so I really wanted to build steam locomotives using flame ore and trains using magic steel.

But as it stands, it was difficult.

It's not just a technical issue.

Both Flame Ore and Magic Steel became necks in that they were both too good materials for weapons.

What if a precious substance that can make a rare weapon, such as a magic sword that fires and lights, travels around on a limited route called a railroad?

They will surely be targeted.

We couldn't use strategic supplies that were too valuable as a power source for the train.

As there was no choice, Valkyrie became the power source for the train to travel.

Compared to the train I imagine, I still have dissatisfaction with the load.

But I wonder if this is all right now.

At least, by utilizing rails, the same Valkyrie has succeeded in transporting large quantities of supplies more easily than pulling cars.

Moreover, since there are no pedestrians or other luggage cars that interfere with movement by making it as a railroad separate from the normal road, the efficiency of travel is exceptionally good.

Travelling from Vulcania to Dressina has become much easier.

There was no particular problem with the commissioning, and it ended with good results.

Afterwards, we will construct another line that will return to Vulcania, as well as a line from Dressina to the city of Fontana.

Don't forget to pull the tracks while actually using them to spot problems and make improvements.

I managed to spell it while even building a railroad.

Thus, the Balkan Knights were able to use a new spell called [Railway Laying], and new transport routes were being built to various parts of Fontana territory.
