Then he was immediately taken to a place called the church in town, and Rik was made to receive a trial ritual,

"This kid has enough magic, and he has a high degree of healing aptitude. If you can, you should go down the road to a healer."

I was told, and it turned out to be a pocan.

"Hey Cyrus, does healing power or magic help agriculture in any way?"

The answer that came back to the question was no.

"It didn't do anything. But because I have the power, I have the hand to go to the lake swamp and be a magician, and I have the hand to go to church and be a healer."

"Anyway, you have to come and study healing."

He says that those with high healing aptitudes must always study healing because it's okay to work together, and if anything happens, they have to work on healing.

"Do the healing free of charge whenever asked. Instead, people make donations to the church, and healers get proper care, right? It's a good intention-based mindset, but it makes sense."

"Reasonable? I never thought about it that way."

Returning from church, the two of us walk through town talking like that. Children living in towns gather in church every afternoon to learn letters and calculations, he said. In the morning everyone helps with the house and learns the family business.

"It's a carriage today, but when you get used to it, I'll lend you a rack, so you should come and go to town with a horse"

"But how can I help?

"Just like everyone else. You can do it in the morning. My job is early in the morning."

Ride a horse and go to school. Kind of exciting. I can read the town signs, and I feel like I can write the letters, so apparently I can read and write from the beginning, so I'm sure I'll be studying healing mainly.

"Of course, you can hang out with the guys in town if you're not too late after school."

"I don't know, friends."

"Well, you just have to remember that you can do that"

That's how Rik's life in this world began.

Get up early first, let Haku and Raku go outside, and in the meantime clean the stables, and prepare hay. They have a large water farm on the ranch that springs from the hills, where horses and cattle drink water freely. I also go here once a day to see if there are any inconveniences.

Cows spend all day outside around here where cowhouses are available but winter isn't that cold either. They get together on their own and spend time under the roof when the weather is bad. In the morning, only cows with milk come to milk them from themselves.

At that point, a big carriage brings in your milky daughters and wives. The wives rush home milking the cow.

Squeezed milk is carried by Cyrus to the butter factory.

Cyrus says it's his job to turn the hilled land into grazing land and give it to anyone who wants to do dairy farming.

"A piece of land that no one could use is now available."

Cyrus, who is so proud, when he is done taking care of the cow, goes to develop the wasteland he is working on now so that the cow can walk easily.

Rick knows that dairy farmers and agriculture do very different jobs.

When he's not in town, Rick walks about Cyrus like that. I don't feel like I'm helping at all, even if I'm being given a small, but I'm mowing a wasteland, etc., but I still wonder if it's okay because Cyrus seems to enjoy it.

"Cyrus has been living bigoted ever since he lost his child."

The self-proclaimed kind of people in town tell Rick they didn't even ask for it.

I lost a child, which is deceitful to ask the people in town, but I think that attic must have been that child's room. When Rick saw the drawer later, he had everything from small clothes to adult clothes.

I also felt a little chest ache when I wondered if he was replacing that child, but to the point where I thought that would be okay if Cyrus was fine instead, Rick was starting to keep his heart in Cyrus.

Cyrus and I enjoyed going around, but what was surprising was that we enjoyed studying healing. It took me a long time to understand the idea of the glow of my soul, but once I understood it, it was early from there. Above all, I was delighted that I could bring as much energy from the Goddess as I could without even losing my magic.

And then one time I realized. That the energy of the soul is in the plants and in the soil.

I noticed that when Cyrus and I went down for a look at the new wasteland that Cyrus is trying to develop from next year.

"Something's dark here."

"Sure, the sun doesn't shine in the sun."

"Not so, here's the thing"

I don't know what to say, Rick narrowed his eyes and looked around closely.

"I'm not energetic."

Like people in town who work too much and are tired. Like someone who is injured and vulnerable.

"I wonder if that could possibly heal the wasteland"

Crushing so alone, Rick put his hand on the ground.

"The point is, from the source of the goddess, you just have to have energy in the soil"

I was able to connect with the goddess and bring that energy to the land. But the land was vast, and no matter how much energy I brought, I had no choice.

By the time Cyrus looked back at Rik, Rik had fallen.

"Rik? Rik!

I rushed to bring him to the church in town and he told me he was out of magic.

"What the hell did you do so much that you lost your magic, Rick?"

"I don't know."

"Well, until you wake up, keep eating something nutritious when you wake up, and don't let it do something that's out of magic."

He woke up. Rick was lumpily angry at Cyrus, even angrier when he told him the circumstances, and was sworn not to be impotent again.

So Rick never used the healing power on the soil again. Until the next year I realized that that wasteland had turned into a place full of greenery.

"My power can enrich the land. This must be the power of the goddess."

"Rik."

"Please, Cyrus. I'm not as impotent as before. So why don't you leave some wasteland with me? Little by little, little by little, I think we can heal the land without falling."

"You..."

But Rick didn't know that too much energy creates bias, and doesn't stop hitting demons, and he just understands it in a corner of his head as a distant inheritance, make it cyrus, and he didn't realize that Rick was running in the wrong direction.

And the effects were certainly beginning to come out. Just a little, but in the form of an increase in demons.
