"I'm taking Alberto to a water quality survey - that's the result of all your readings, Carlisle?

Royal Castle's office.

Philbs sitting on the couch speaks to Carlisle. The court magician laughed much shorter.

"To be honest, I never thought this would happen..."

It was Carlisle who pushed Alberto, an inferior student, into the water quality survey, as Philbs put it.

Carlisle, who was taking away the smell of "darkness" that fluttered there, wouldn't hurt - he put in Alberto with a degree of thought.

But without that whim, the harm done to the students would have been something that could not be ignored.

"Sounds like it worked great, what about Alberto?

"Oh. Even school has a reputation."

"I want you to tell me about his martial arts."

"I believe you've reported to the Kingdom from the Academy?

"The raccoons at the academy can't do anything about the composition they did to protect their mentions and their looks. I want to hear your unabashedly honest opinion on everything."

"Oh man..."

Philbs has a headache.

"It was the mad water spirits that Alberto defeated. Originally, two teachers, Hurin and Blaine, were dealing with each other and making them correspondingly weak. Probably would have won if Alberto hadn't had time. But Alberto ended it with just one blow. According to our two reports."

"Hmm, as reported."

After the nod, Carlisle went on like this.

"As with the report, there is no key part. What sorcery did Alberto use to defeat the Spirit of the Water with just one blow?"

Philbs raised his hands.

"As you can imagine, it's a magic arrow."

"Magic Arrow, huh"

Hehe, Carlisle laughed.

"It's not a good idea."

"Forgive me. Our college side is not accepted to be honest either. I can't believe Magic Arrow just knocked down the Spirit of Water with one blow...... But both Hurin and Blaine did say. Alberto said he was definitely releasing a magic arrow."

Carlisle thinks quietly.

No longer is that a normal magic arrow.

That's why the college couldn't report it. We enclosed substitutes that we did not understand into vague narratives and contexts.

"Alberto himself says it's a magic arrow. But the college is skeptical. I'm sure some mistake, wasn't some other sorcery activated? thinks."

Carlisle felt bitter but sympathetic to the stone heads of the college.

This event will not be as convincing as a human being studying magic seriously.

Because it's impossible.

Besides...

Carlisle snaps.

"It's not just a frenzied spirit. It's a reinforcement with the power of darkness."

He said he beat it down with just a magic arrow.

That, Carlisle put the vial she took out of the drawer at her desk. The vial is packed with black liquid as if the ink had melted in.

It was brought back by the investigation team from Lake Biharne.

"Plenty of 'dark' stained sewage."

The spirits would go crazy too if they were contaminated with something like this.

Philbs looked at the vial with interest.

"I didn't know you were going to pollute that stupid big Lake Biharne so much... what were they doing?

"I don't know...... but it's not weird that there's so much involved in the legend that it keeps its name"

I made a joke and said it, but I don't think Carlisle jokes that much.

That's all the pollution.

It can't be half-breed.

Carlisle pounded her tongue a little.

I didn't expect you to overlook something like this for six months!

What a genius court magician!

But it wasn't impossible. The fluctuations of the forces of darkness are beginning to increase in numbers all over the kingdom. Yet only key figures within the kingdom, beginning with Carlisle, still know the reality.

People who can move are very limited.

Even under such conditions, Carlisle continues to produce the closest results humans can, but some things can leak.

(That's an excuse...)

Carlisle shook her head.

Things are not a situation where Carlisle can be wrapped up and hidden by one hand. If it stays this way, the kingdom will soon be thrown into chaos.

We need a joker to make things better.

"Alberto, I really need you to be a hero to this country."

Carlisle thought of the mysterious young man's face and laughed all the time.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

A week after the water quality survey team returned.

All students were gathered in the Great Hall of the Royal College.

To recognize students who have achieved results in cases involving water quality research teams.

Who is that student?

"Come on, Alberto."

Hurin next door said in a nervous voice.

"Oh."

Bang, and the two open doors in front of us open.

The door is in front of the hall.

So it took the form of facing the students who lived side by side.

The students who turned to us looked at us.

What the hell is he?

That's how everything in that gaze talks.

Hurin starts walking ahead of me in a creepy move. I followed Hurin.

Across the street stood an elderly dean.

When me and Hurin stopped, the dean read out the award he had in his hand.

"Alberto! You demonstrated extraordinary ability in a critical situation involving the Water Quality Survey Team, trying to save the students from misery! It wasn't a strange situation when someone died, but thanks to you, I was able to spare the worst misfortune! I commend you for your courage and talent and give you this award!

I received the prize from the principal as I moved forward.

I felt strange.

Ten years ago, I couldn't accomplish anything, and this is how the dean now recognizes me in front of all the school students.

Even though a human being like me hasn't changed.

What has changed?

"Thank you"

When I received my award, I went back to Hurin.

The dean continues his words.

"More! I recognize Alberto's power and award him the 'Iron School Stamp' here!

The students, who had always been quiet, oops.

I guess the next announcement was shocking.

Iron School Stamp - That's a necessary condition for promotion to third grade. I've been given such a thing. Jump over the 'Stone Stamp' required for promotion to sophomore year.

A teacher walks in with a school stamp in a box from behind the dean.

Hurin advanced before the teacher. Receive the school badge by saying "Leave it to me" to a teacher who looks suspicious.

Hurin grinned back at me.

Go on. Whisper like this in a low voice.

"Sorry, say goodbye... but I really wanted to do it"

Hurin reaches for the collar of my uniform.

And he picked up the school badge with a gentle gesture. In the middle of it, Hurin is letting his nose guss as he nags.

The hand was shaking small.

And he talks to me in a whispering voice.

"Really... really... Congratulations, Alberto... your hard work has paid off. Ten years ago... I ended up with sad results... but this is the school seal you... finally grabbed.... even that day ten years ago... and the next ten years... it wasn't for nothing... now you did it..."

Hurin releases his hand.

The iron school stamp was shining dull on my collar. That wasn't a gorgeous color - but it looked glorious to me.

I had it in my hand.

Hurin's right, give me a school badge that didn't arrive ten years ago.

Hurin said this small at the end when he gently wiped his eyes.

"Welcome back, Alberto."
