The battle around the all-powerful wishful opportunity of rumours to fulfill all aspirations.

There is no more famous battle than the one waged in Fuyuki.

Located on an island in the far east, there is a city called Fuyuki City.

In this city, there are three magical houses called the Miyazo family.

These three magical houses are Far Slope, Machiry, and Einzberen.

These three magical families, for their own purposes, built a ceremony called the Holy Grail War, using Fuyuki City as the stage.

That's right.

The Grail War was a ceremony.

Although it is not known what the true Holy Grail is, in the city of Winterwood, the three royal families took advantage of the underground spiritual veins of Winterwood to gather the immense magic required for the ceremony with the massive ceremonial magic array constructed by Einzberen, and held a massive ceremony capable of making the Holy Grail appear as an all-powerful wish machine.

The Massive Ceremony Magic Array is called the Great Holy Grail.

When the Holy Grail gathers enough magic to perform the ritual, it selects seven magicians to be lords and summons seven followers.
