Synopsis

Following a tragic demise caused by his bathroom tile, an MMA fighter finds himself facing an eldritch God in search of an (unwilling) fool to pilfer from one of the most formidable entities in the Marvel Universe—the Phoenix... Fortunately for Axel, he is not condemned. He has been bestowed with the abilities of one of his beloved game characters—Dante Sparda... although the god did not clarify which version.---A few caveats before you proceed.1. My fanfiction is receiving backlash because readers do not grasp its direction from the outset, so let me clarify. He will begin weak and grow considerably stronger over the span of about 100 chapters. If that doesn't resonate with you, this may not be your story.2. He will make errors—like all relatable protagonists.3. HE IS NOT DANTE. He is an individual possessing his powers. Do not anticipate an exact personality match. You will be let down.
