<Infinite Dendrogram>

Episode XXXIV: Choosing a Pathway

□ ■ Border zones and mountainous areas - Takeshi wilderness

How much time has passed since the beginning of the battle?

The battle between Shu and Leviathan, which had been going on since before the Battle of the Rays began.

Multiple layers of giant steel and beast clashes have crumbled several mountains and transformed them into earthen masses and rocky wilderness.

(... yet, don't fall)

In the bald dollar, Shu looked bitter.

Such faces, which would normally be concealed by wearers, are now dewy, albeit in the cockpit.

The reason for Shu's expression lies in Leviathan's margin.

Shu, and Leviathan, knew that the final settlement would be Shu's victory if they both fought each other as it were.

Considering his stats and skill and his armament, Shu has no chance of losing to Leviathan alone.

However, Shu and Leviathan have points of disagreement, which raise the armament to Leviathan's expectations.

That's... time for Leviathan to fall.

In Shu's reading, Leviathan should have already fallen.

But she's still alive... and half of that huge HP will still be there.

There are so many large reading discrepancies, which are all on the Leviathan side.

The first factor is that the opportunity to decide the battle did not come.

Technically, the offense continued both ways.

But Leviathan makes his distance here at the right time.

All that timing... it's time for Shu to set up a battle.

When Shu went into the preliminary motion of the final depths, or when he tried to create a gap with a built-in firearm to connect to it, and when he set up a move for site destruction woven into a normal attack.

Only then, when Shu tries to move the battle trend...... Leviathan is fleeing far out of Baldor's fist legs at great distances.

Some AGIs can do that by visual observation or surpassing the Bardle today, but above all, they have wild surveys (...).

Leviathan is a Guardian with little or no skills.

But even so, the beast is beastly, not as a skill, but as its own intuition (sense skill)... it is moving to perceive the danger from Shu.

Leviathan's intuition against Shu's rule of thumb and conjecture had crushed him, making him incapable of being a decision maker.

(... That's a pain in the ass)

The second factor is Leviathan's equipment (...).

Usually the gear for Leviathan is limited to accessories for concealment and human gear that were worn for camouflage when they were man-made.

Equipment to be worn by the submissive demons and gardners existed, and their production flourished, especially in Legendaria, but Leviathan is too gigantic to wear production equipment. (In the first place, weapons and protective equipment do not make sense due to equipment endurance issues)

However, there is only one exception.

That's......

"... I didn't know you had a continuously recovering (...) benefit weapon (...)"

The presence of a perk weapon that adjusted to Leviathan, not Behemott.

The reward weapon accessories that Leviathan still wears, turned into giants, while buried somewhere in the giant...... continue to restore Leviathan's HP.

'I won't wear it unless it's also a battle with you. We're too strong to hide what's in our hands, but we hide what we can.'

"It makes sense."

Naturally speaking, natural tactics.

But for that gear that was hidden, more than half of the damage that was shredded slightly has also been healed.

(Do you mean the percentage continuous recovery of HP? The original figure is huge, so even if it's 0.1% for a second, 20,000 will heal in a second.... Was it a kind of bluff that I purposefully recovered from drinking potion in Gideon)

If you don't hit a direct hit once every ten seconds, you can't even scrape your HP.

Rather, it is only to Shu, who has halved Leviathan's HP in excess of 20 million under such conditions, that we should be surprised.

(If you're talking about having to spend the same amount of time you've spent so far to take it down... it was still better)

Wild surveys and perks martial arts.

If that were all...... Shu would still have been able to settle.

But there is a third factor involved here.

That's......

"... you've been passive for a long time."

…………

Where HP shredded by about 40%...... because the offense from Leviathan faded.

No, it didn't fade... it moved into delayed combat by the outspoken.

There is less to set up on my own, and I concentrate my consciousness on defense and dodging and healing.

(... the biggest misread is this guy clever)

Leviathan had guessed from the outset that he could not beat Shu alone, and had fought according to his desire in the name of his own fighting instincts after learning about it.

But Leviathan, who has a beast-like fighting instinct, whose essence is behemoth supremacy.

She doesn't have a single thing to do, such as behemoth's instructions and matters that take precedence over behemoth's victory.

Therefore, not falling down until Behemott's victory can be confirmed is her top priority, and her own desire to enjoy the battle has disappeared where HP has been cut by 40%.

That is all the more evident when we are contacted by Behemott today in the "One Beast".

(Sounds bad)

Even the shu driving the Baldor, Leviathan wins in AGI and END more than the original.

If that's all you can do to delay the battle...... it's hard to knock it down even if it's shu.

At least not within these few minutes when Behemott is battling.

(... what do we do?

For one thing, there is a hand in ignoring Leviathan and returning to the floor.

But in that case...... what awaits is surely [the Beast King] who has exhausted all his hands.

(These guys' special skills...... eighty-nine out of ten, same fusion skills as Luke and the others (...))

Not uncommon as a gardner, but rather a common form of special skill.

If we just add up the original status by combining it, it's not much different from the current Beast Possession.

But if that was the type that multiplies the status or adds up to the status just before the merger (...), … what awaits is a hell of a picture by the biggest and most powerful monster.

That much is natural if you have a special skill, and abandoning that fear solely on the grounds that 'Leviathan is a status specialist' is outrageous.

Because even the special skills of the Valdor, which are only versatile, are effective to the extent that they enhance their stats based on STR.

(Only Leviathan was thus transferred to another battlefield because he assumed the threat of special skills. But if this one keeps taking time and the other loses... will behemott come this way and have the same result...?

Shu was now at the crossroads of choice.

Two choices: the biggest and most powerful monster that would be stronger than the current behemoth, and whether to fight in this wilderness or on the floor.

(… [γ]?

Alternatively... here's the choice between (...) using up all of Leviathan's own power without thinking about it later (...) and defeating him (...) or using the biggest and most powerful monster against him (...).

…………

Shu thinks calmly.

If you use the power (...) that defeated the final weapon for Shu... [Criminal King (...)], you can definitely beat Leviathan alone.

And even if [Beast King] is the opponent after using his special skill, he has nearly 50% (...) chance of winning, as assumed.

(But in that case, one more to the other...... if you have any down bills, there will be no winning chance in the kingdom)

If you use that power, Shu won't have any more hands to hit.

The reason I haven't been able to use it before is because if I use that power, I won't be able to count Shu as a force anymore.

(The worst part... is that this battle is being monitored (...))

Shu points some of the Baldor's sensors upwards.

There... the feather-bearing monster overlooked the battlefield.

That was also a monster that looked somewhat familiar to Shu...... [Broadcast Eye].

(Monster for collecting information on the fucking white coat (Franklin)... I thought you were here)

The battle between Ray and [the Demon General] at that Cal Cheratan, and whether it was Franklin who was monitoring and recording it or not, Shu was following around.

An important reconciliation conference was held for the kingdom and the empire, … and that Franklin can't possibly not be distributing monsters in the border zone where there is going to be an opportunity to see in the hands of great warfare forces like Shu and Behemot.

(The only question is if the monster is here or if he's here too...)

Assuming the person was here, the situation sucks.

Even if Shu could destroy Leviathan here, or Behemott, with all his might... he would intercept Franklin's army of monsters with exhausted force after missing Shu.

Without Shu's great firepower, Franklin, the most powerful force in the Empire, would still be the greatest threat.

After Shu uses the trump card...... not necessarily immediately.

That's why Shu has never cut a trump card before.

…………

Shu got so lost and troubled that it was rare for him.

Having been forced to make a choice with the time that passes in that way, Shu

"Baldor, [Gloria γ] up......"

with his decision to use his final weapon,

- I got this place.

- I was entrusted.

I remember what I said when I left the floor and my brother's response to it.

"Do you want to start the [temporary institution Gloria γ]?

'... no, I won't start'

Shu stopped using the ultimate weapon… the super weapon he had.

"...... hahahaha"

That's how I laughed strangely somewhere and thought:

(Reverse the idea)

Until recently, the choice that had been taken off the choices was in front of Shu now.

(Those guys don't hold the behemoth, I hold Leviathan. And when those guys (...) beat Behemot (...))

In that case, Leviathan, relative to Shu, will also disappear, leaving Shu's margin.

Even if Franklin comes after this, Shu can stand up to him.

The kingdom can triumph even under these hellish conditions.

The best result is only ahead of that small possibility.

"Oh, yeah. That ending is the best.... All right '

Then Shu prepares his mood for battle.

'... you're not in a hurry'

'You don't have to rush anymore. My brother and his crew will beat Behemot. I have to let you get in the way. "

'... you think you can?

Leviathan jumps along with words that seep through his anger, but Shu responds with a voice that contains some room.

"My brother - don't lick it, bear!!"

Even though it contained room...... with words from the bottom of his heart, Shu slammed Baldor's Iron Fist into Leviathan's abdomen.

"G, tu......, tu, the consideration of the error of recognition will soon be paid with your despair,"

"Know what! You know, when he couldn't do it, you just had to work hard for me to die! That's my brother, Bear!

That is how the battle between Shu and Leviathan continues.

That is a battle that will never end before a settlement is reached on the floor.

Fighting each other, buying time.

Shu believed in Ray's victory, and Leviathan believed in Behemott's victory.

The meaning and end of it, not far away.
