Chapter 71: Going Premium Tomorrow Morning
My editor, Wu Tong, has informed me that the novel will be going premium tomorrow. I had originally planned to launch the paid Chapters around noon, but it turns out I can choose the time freely now. Therefore, I’ve decided to stick to my usual update schedule and release them in the early morning, right after midnight. I believe this will provide the best experience for all you dear readers.
However, there might be a slight delay as the system switches over to premium, so the Chapters will likely be available around 12:03 to 12:05 AM.
Night owls are welcome to wait up for it. For everyone else, the new Chapters will be there for you to read first thing in the morning.
As for how many Chapters I’ll be releasing... I’m writing as fast as I can right now. I can guarantee a minimum of five Chapters tomorrow, and if possible, I’ll aim for a ten-Chapter release. In any case, I will release as many Chapters as I can without sacrificing quality. I hope I can count on your support. Even just subscribing to the first paid Chapter would be a huge help.
You know, I’ve been writing for several years now, and this isn’t the first time one of my books has gone premium, but it still makes me feel quite sentimental every time.
I know that due to my own limitations, it’s impossible for my work to please everyone, but I always pour my heart into it. I even get extremely anxious when I feel I haven’t handled a certain plot point well.
Of course, I’m not saying this to fish for sympathy. After all, this is my profession, and this is how I earn my living, so working hard is part of the deal.
Besides, with the economy being what it is, I know life is tough for everyone right now. I just hope that through my humble writing, I can create a small safe harbor for you all, a place where you can relax for a while.
