Instant Death

Five stories, Mr. Euphemia, your attitude towards me is becoming a good addition...

The city was called the City of Fighting God until not long ago.

After a week or so of journeys from there, the Lizzlies were coming into the woods.

"It was farther than I thought! Can you catch up with this?!?"

Lisley loved the high night fog and was traveling to meet her.

We were able to meet once, but the night fogs quickly left the Lizzlies behind and went somewhere.

"I hear it will take about a week, depending on weather and other circumstances, from the port to the Ent Empire. So if it works, the difference should be almost gone."

The ships in the Ent Empire row did not sail frequently. If the night fogs chose to travel by boat in a planned way, you can't catch up with them when you go to the harbor.

So, Euphemia has suggested that Rayne use the transfer devices that he had available everywhere.

"Ugh... if it didn't work, I'd have lost a hell of a lot of time..."

If the Night Mists can catch up in a few days about the Ent Empire, there's no problem.

But if you take too long, the fogs will travel to another land again.

If that happens, it will be even harder to catch up.

That's all Lizzie wanted to avoid.

"Finally arrived"

Euphemia, who was walking with Lizzie's hand, stopped.

"Even if they say so."

They ran out of trees and went out into the square.

I knew there was something there, but I didn't know for sure because there was only a slight starlight.

"It's a big house in such a despicable place."

"Is Mr. Carroll in sight?

"Yeah. Ninja's class traits make me look smart at night."

Says Carol S. Lane.

Throughout the road so far, Lizzie had come trying to stick to Euphemia. I didn't see much of it in the woods at night, but Carol was walking a lot.

"I don't even think it has anything to do with Samurai, but for some reason Samurai also has a night's eye."

Seemed to see Kenko Ermiya as well.

"I see it, too. Is it because you're a vampire?"

I even mentioned that to Euphemia, who is a half demon, a vampire, and an Origin Blood.

"I'm the only one who can't see! I mean, what the hell can I do!?"

Lisley seems to be a split made from Rain.

Apparently, it's because Lizzie doesn't remember anything.

When I woke up, I saw footage of a woman named Rain, and she said, "You're me," and so on.

Anything, they set up a rhythm to be ineligible for the immediate-death capability of high-altitude night fog.

So Lisley had no memory or ability to pass on as Rain.

"Master Lisley is fine with that. I'll take care of everything."

Euphemia is a semidemonic woman who suddenly came to where Lisley was about to travel.

Rayne had sucked blood and was a family member, but Rayne's death broke out a battle to determine the heir of Originblood among his family members.

Euphemia got caught up in it with no response, and she won.

Therefore, all Rain's abilities as a vampire will have been passed down to Euphemia.

I did become Origin Blood, but I still had feelings of respect for Rain, and I had similar feelings for Lizzie, Rain's split.

"So, this is the mansion that Rain was using?

"Right. It's available in a variety of different places."

Rain's mansion has a transfer device that connects the mansion.

The Lizzlies came here to use it to get to the fogs at night.

By the way, the mansion where Lizzie woke up was the most secluded lair, so it was not connected to any other mansion by means of a transfer device.

Lizzie heads to the mansion holding hands with Euphemia.

But after a short walk, Euphemia stopped.

"What's going on?

"The mansion should have servants, so I thought it was strange that it was dark"

"You didn't use the lights so you couldn't find them or something?

"No. The perimeter of the mansion is covered in boundaries. Events within the junction cannot be observed from the outside, so there is no need to worry about the extent of lighting."

"Aren't you sleeping because it's night?

"No. They're not allowed to sleep in the first place. Their role is to maintain the Mansion and make sure Lady Rain is always there."

"Huh? Isn't that terrible?

Lisley doesn't know what Rayne was like.

But I've come to know that he's an insensitive character in a mansion that doesn't even know when his husband's coming, and keeps him waiting without even allowing him to sleep.

"It would be a family member anyway, so I don't think I need to worry about it. It's a mansion for Laine, so I thought it was only natural that everything existed for Laine."

"I care! What the hell, Rayne!

"I don't really know what Lady Rain looks like either. We haven't been together that long."

"Mm-hmm. If you were a family member, you'd have a good night's eye, so you didn't turn on the lights or something?

"You have a good night's eye, but you don't particularly mean you like darkness. At night, the lights should be on."

Euphemia's words are a little vague because it was only recently here that she became a vampire.

He also inherited Rain's knowledge, but he hasn't really felt it together.

"Mmm. Surely there's no sign of it in there. There's nothing moving in there, no one alive. Well, vampires are going to be classified as undead, and I just don't know what that means to treat the dead."

Carol said she could detect a certain range of life and movement with Ninja's skills.

So it seems that there is nothing alive and moving, but there is a possibility that there is something dead and able to move lurking.

"It's still weird. Master Lisley is the equivalent of Master Rain. If you get this close, you'll notice, and they'll pick you up."

Lisley remembered when she met Euphemia.

I woke up and came to get ready to travel, and suddenly I knelt.

Being an Original Blood doesn't seem to be enough to whirl around Lizzie, so I was convinced if they told me that just about a family member couldn't ignore Lizzie.

"Shall I be cautious anyway"

Forgive me for putting it together.

The situation in the mansion is puzzling, so we will need to be vigilant.

Euphemia started walking again and Lizzie followed.

Stop in front of both open doors.

Slightly, Euphemia pushed open the door.

Apparently vampires have super senses, and if they were to be Origin Blood, that power would outweigh just vampires. At least we decided there was no problem around the door.

It was dark inside and almost nothing seemed to Lizzie.

"Though the night is good, this is just hard to see"

With that said, Euphemia floated overhead with a sphere of light produced from her palms.

"Huh? Can you do that?

"I wondered if I could do this without being a vampire."

"Then do that from the start - yah!

The light bulb illuminated the entrance was stained red.

And what would have caused it is scattered there as well.

It's part of the human body.

My hands and feet, my head, my torso split in many parts, my punctured guts rolling down the hallway.

"Hey, hey, what's going on, this!

"Mm-hmm. You don't feel fresh. It's been quite a while since this happened?

Carol was calm against the rushing Lizzie.

"You're not alone. There seems to be more than one human body."

Aiko didn't look so surprised either.

"I see. Looks like there's been a succession fight going on here, too."

"What do you mean?

"With Rayne's death, the families are set free from direct domination. And there was a fight over the next Origin Blood."

One of those who gets a direct mouthful from Rain becomes Originblood.

And it will be the last one to survive, and Rayne's immediate men will be wiped out when the next Origin Blood emerges.

"Oh, speaking of which, there was no one in the mansion I woke up in, is that what this is about?

"Yes, in the case of that mansion, it wasn't the atmosphere that the battle took place on the spot."

"Well, it seems a little nasty, isn't it particularly dangerous?

"It should. Because I'm the only one who survived."

"Is the transfer device safe?

"What do you think? Lady Rain is the only one who can use it, so I don't think she went out of her way or fought there..."

He was just distracted by the body, but his entrance was also fairly damaged. A fierce battle must have been waged here.

Lizzie's body fluttered as she glanced at her face, and she was held by Euphemia.

It would be a consideration to keep the carcasses and bloodstains from spreading.

There was a large staircase leading upstairs as we straightened the entrance.

But Euphemia did not go up the great stairs, but went around to its side.

When Euphemia touched the stairs, a small noise was made and the walls slide. There was a hidden door there.

Inside, there was a staircase heading downstairs. That seems to be the hidden staircase that leads to the basement where the transfer device is located.

"O! Ninja Mansion!

Carol was excited.

"Looks like there's no intruder from what I've seen."

The large staircase was also destroyed, but it does not appear to have any effect inside the hidden room.

As I went down the stairs, I went out into a small room.

"You're an easy magic team to understand."

What Carol was looking at was the basement floor.

There, large circles were drawn in white lines, with letters and geometric shapes arranged inside.

I guess that's what Carol calls a magic formation, but I wasn't sure what that meant because Lizzie didn't have any magic knowledge.

"Yes. It's a device that transfers those in it. … there seems to be no particular abnormality."

Look around the room, Euphemia says.

What I saw in that basement was about the magic formation, and I didn't see anything that looked like a device. So I guess it's a magical device, like Lizzie doesn't know.

Euphemia stepped inside the magic formation and lowered the rhythm.

Then, the magic team began to blur and glow, and the footage was shown in Euphemia's present.

When Euphemia reaches for that footage, the footage changes. Apparently, that's what they're doing about the metastasis.

"Ent Empire...... is not a problem, is it? It's transferable."

"Is there something you can't do?

"It's impossible if the destination is physically destroyed, etc., but there doesn't seem to be any change in how the destination looks. What will you do?

"Transfer. I want to go to Mr. Night Mist soon."

Euphemia has confirmed, so Lizzie replied.

It's also true that I want to go fast, but maybe I don't want to relax in such a bloody place.

"Okay. Come here, gentlemen."

Encouraged by Euphemia, Carol and Ryoko also went into the magic formation.

As Euphemia glanced over the surface of the video, the light rose from the edge of the magic formation.

It's like entering a cylinder of light.

The light subsided after a while.

Lizzie looked around just to see if the metastasis was over.

"I don't think anything's changed?

"Every mansion looks like a similar room. The metastasis should be successful."

As Euphemia left the magic formation, so did Lizzie later.

"I was hoping it would be a little more flashy. The clock's ticking. You know, through the space!

"I'm glad you ended up in an instant. I'd be senselessly nervous if I could do that."

Carol and Forgive also leave the magic formation.

"Um, there's no sign of you around. Oh, of course I wouldn't know if there was an undead who wouldn't move."

Carol takes the lead and heads to the stairs, and the lizlies follow a little later.

Going up the stairs, it's the same as when you came.

Carol is outside with the door open.

"Wow!? What's this?"

Lizzie was surprised to see what was right in front of her.

I never imagined there would be such a thing.

"Is it a dragon?

Carol is more intrigued than surprised.

What was there was a giant head.

It was covered in black scales and the tip rolled from the neck of a reptile-like creature with a giant jaw.

"You have your body over there. Does it feel like you cut it off with a knife without wasting it?"

A giant body with wings was down.

"This is an ancient flourishing city, isn't it? It also seems to be where Origin Blood occurred, but it doesn't matter now, so let's hurry up."

Lisley looked around.

It looks like it's in a giant cave, and the light sphere floating over Euphemia's head can't illuminate everything either.

There are stone buildings forested around, so I guess it's definitely a city.

"Huh? Can I leave the dragon alone?!?"

"He's dead, so there's nothing you can do."

"Mr. Euphemia, your attitude towards me is getting better and better..."

Ancient cities and dragons sinking into the darkness in the cave.

Until then if I say it has nothing to do with the Lizzlies, but I wonder what the hell happened.

But I guess it's not even if you're doing a detailed investigation.

Anyway, we have to get out of here and head to the Empire Capital of the Ent Empire.

Looking around again wondering which way to go, my body rose with a tremendous shock.

"What!? Earthquake!?"

"I don't know, but be careful"

A tremendous shake is not transitory, it also collapses the stone building. Even the ceiling collapsed and the rock mass began to pour.

"Gentlemen, beside me"

Lisley stopped by Euphemia. Carol and forgiveness are coming too.

The rock was bounced in a direction that did not reach Euphemia. I guess he plays it with a mindfulness.

Lisley was relieved. I wondered what would happen when the earthquake started, but I think I can handle it in Euphemia if this is the extent of the situation.

"This is the first earthquake in this world, but not too long?

Carol raises questions.

Neither did Lizzie have any experience with earthquakes, but she didn't think it would last this long.

"Isn't that what caused it?

Reiko points to the center of an ancient city.

There, it was like a mountain. The ground continues to flourish and the building is tumbling down.

And the mountains splattered.

The impact made the group of buildings bounce and fly at once, making the ancient city even more landscaped in an instant.

If Euphemia hadn't defended herself, she would have been crushed to death by the rubble, such as Lisley.

"Why all of a sudden!

What Carol is looking at is a giant hole.

From there the huge head of the lion dashed his face.

It stretched and slammed into the ceiling. It has a long neck before it's unnatural.

Lions weren't the only ones who came out, but heads like goats and snakes hit the ceiling as well.

A giant hook claw comes out and puts his hand in the hole. Apparently, the main body of it is about to come out.

"This is a part of my lord."

Suddenly I heard voices from behind, and Lizzie turned around.

Where it was revealed from, a skinny man in a black suit stood.

"What is going on and this is happening? I'm not sure I know either, but they found it for now, so I guess this should do it."

"Er... are you an enemy?

Carol asked carefully.

"Hmm. Is it natural to be vigilant if we meet in a place like this? But you're on the brink of meeting me this way. Shall I introduce myself? My name is Pomegranate. Choosing the right word from your language system is God. I'm not going to harm you."

"That one, too, doesn't strike?

Carol pointed to a compound that was attacking the ceiling earlier.

"Oh. I wouldn't even have eyes on you guys. If we stay away, we shouldn't have a problem."

"I'm not sure if they say my lord, but God's you mean what you're serving?

"That's the thing. Even if it's a god in a bite, it has many different qualities."

"Hmm. What can I say, my lord? Doesn't feel very intelligent, does it?

The compound, which Pomegranate called the Lord, was attacking the ceiling without darkness. I'm stubbornly tapping my head, and I can feel a willingness to break the ceiling, but the behavior is passionate and animal.

"Mr. Carroll, what are you talking about!

Lizzie hastily pinched her mouth.

I don't know if it's really God, but there's a cold sweat running down Euphemia's face. Pomegranate is probably a threat to Euphemia as well. I don't know what I would see if I damaged the mood of someone like that. I shouldn't have said anything bad here.

"As I said in part, my lord is not in complete condition."

"I see. Then it's none of our business, isn't it? So can I go?

But before the pomegranate replied, Lizzie was suddenly blown back and held by Carol before she knew why.

"Mr. Carol, forgive me! Please take Master Lisley and run!

It seems that it was by Euphemia that Lisley blew up, and Carol was drawing on Euphemia's intentions as well.

Carol runs out and Lizzie is forced away from Euphemia.

"Huh!? What's going on?!? He said he wouldn't do harm..."

It shouldn't have been a one-touch situation or something, but we're supposed to get away with it at some point.

The last thing Lizzie saw there was Euphemia sticking into the pomegranate.
