Instant Death

Seven stories were sealed, so I guess I couldn't find them. I feel terrible about my work.

Abby's class is an operator (game master), keeping the entire Ent Empire under control, but not being able to grasp everything that happens there.

Though a small island nation, there are countless people living there, there are various monsters, and there are numerous incidents going on one after the other.

There's no way I can recognize that by myself and respond to it.

So most of them were processed automatically.

If it is a trivial event, analyze the technique that led to the resolution and inform it as a quest request in the Adventurer's Guild, which is located everywhere.

That's how many monsters you can take down, how many special effects you can put up, and how many bags you can carry from city to city. The adventurers challenge the quest for rewards without even knowing what they mean.

Miscellaneous quests are generated on their own and resolved on their own. It was the operator's excellence that the troublesome case would be handled in a fully automatic manner.

It's just not like it's all a trivial event that doesn't matter, and some of them required Abby's decision.

One is royalty-related, and this is at Yoshifumi's behest. She said she wouldn't mind the royal family being wiped out, but it seems interesting, so she tells me to report anything.

So I was trying to adjust the difficulty and rewards while watching how things went when it came to royalty related.

The other is a giant monster. Occasionally, special individuals far from their normal size may emerge. In contrast, even if you're just generating quests and letting adventurers do it on their own, they can't pack.

So Abby can instantly notice monsters larger than a certain size.

Anyone would have noticed the existence of it.

It emerged with an earthquake from a forest near the Imperial capital. If you're in Imperial Capital, you'll instantly know where the earthquake originated, and if you look over there, you can easily see its beauty.

Abby, who was relaxing in her own room, hastily displayed the status window. Abby's window displays operator-specific information. There are a bunch of footage that we've picked up from all over the Empire.

Abby expanded one of them.

Strange compounds that no one would have seen before come up in front of me.

"What is this guy!?"

The forest was destroyed and the whole thing appeared.

From a huge round torso grows thick, short legs that would be used to move.

I didn't know if there were any other additions growing out of the torso, but they didn't even ground it. Feets with hooves and paws hang innumerably from the torso.

There were a number of heads at the top. There are several long necks growing from the round torso, and the faces of lions, snakes and goats are lazy.

When it moved, the earth swayed.

Abby looked out the window in her room.

Even the naked eye can see it at a distance.

It looks like it's moving slowly, but that's because of the giant. Soon it was going to come to Empire City.

Abby jumped out of the room.

Urgent Quest: Defeat the Mysterious Giant Monster! 'Run down the hallway while setting.

First, send the adventurers to intercept. I wish I could take him down with that, but I probably can't. The enormity of the enemy is off track. Most adventurers just get kicked in the ass.

Abby thought of the possibility of an invader.

For, though he may only be able to cope with Yoshifumi, Yoshifumi has not come back from hanging out in the elf forest.

I didn't have the means to contact you.

If you are within the Empire, you can communicate directly with the operators, but the Elf Forest is overshadowed by a junction that devotes extraordinary powers such as magic and skills.

"There's a guy who can't figure it out at a time like this!

This happens while Yoshifumi is on the Elf Forest.

Why more than ever is this the right time? Abby wanted to curse her fate.

Leaving it alone, the military will make its own move. Abby's not familiar with the military, so you can leave that to her. All Abby has to do is do what only the Four Heavens can do.

Abby ran into Luna's room.

"Situation, you know?

"Exactly. I don't think it's possible you don't notice this."

Abby stood next to Luna looking out the window.

There is, of course, a giant monster ahead of Luna. The monster was already approaching just before the imperial capital.

"Can you do something?

"Hmm. My powers need to be drawn to some extent because they can only be used within the Imperial City"

Luna is free to create and erase buildings if they are within the imperial capital. I could erase the very existence no matter how powerful a monster would be if I got involved in erasing the building. Luna is almost invincible within the Empire.

So if you dare to intrude a giant monster into the Imperial City, then it will be possible to end it.

The building is broken and can be rebuilt immediately. What's likely to be a problem is human damage, but it didn't matter to Abby.

What Yoshifumi and the Four Heavenly Kings are doing is nothing but empire.

"Don't run away, okay?

Luna tells me to push just in case.

Luna's power is restricted and cannot be used from outside the Empire. So Luna really needs to stay here.

"I don't even think I can be cornered enough to have to run away."

"What the hell do you think you're doing?

"... to eat people, or something? The city with a lot of humans is right here as it was revealed from the woods... give it a try."

Abby set the assembly point on the right from the direction of the carbide's progression.

I set up a quest to get paid just to get there.

Then the adventurers flew out of the Empire and began to reach the assembly point.

Since we are far from the giant monsters, it does not seem that dangerous, so those who are unlikely to be able to fight and so on began to gather there.

At first glance it looks like a humanitarian act that is only inducing evacuation, but of course Abby's intentions are not.

"He's blind to humans."

The giant monster was straight ahead.

It doesn't seem to be in my eyes when people say they're going out of the Empire one after the other.

"You mean this is the destination? But why?"

"This castle uses the kingdom-era stuff as it is. You mean there's something here?

"But. Then why don't we all just run away? The city can make as many as I want."

It would take some preparation, but it was easy to create a new imperial capital in a completely different land.

Luna's power applies only within the set area.

All we had to do was initialize the setting of that realm and make another land an imperial capital.

"That's a last resort. Yoshifumi is committed to the fact that this is the former royal castle."

Joshifumi is an evil emperor.

I am using the former royal castle in anticipation of the coming of the remnants of the kingdom one day. If you dare to stay here and abandon such a place and run away, you don't know what Joshifumi will see.

They are called Four Heavens Kings, etc., but there are as many as there are instead, and many have been replaced so far. If you die, you will be easily replenished.

"Well, let's say Mission 2"

Mission 1 was to create a base outside the capital and move there.

In Mission 2, have a giant monster attack.

But if you just knock it down, you decide to complete the mission, the laying will be too expensive.

So Abby decided to make it a contribution point system.

A system where points are earned depending on the damage inflicted, actions such as healing, support, etc., and points can be redeemed later.

This will reward you if you attack at all, and no one will complain because more of what you struggle for will reward you.

The adventurers attacked from the sidelines.

It wasn't a white soldier battle with swords or spears, but he started shooting bows and magic from a distance.

"It's working... not at all..."

"Shit. I was hoping that would bother you at all."

The arrow is bounced with its epidermis and does not pierce one.

The magic of the flames scorches the scales, and the magic of the ice chooses the meat, but from its giant, they don't even make a scratch.

Besides, those wounds heal instantly. As soon as the attack continues, the damage does not accumulate.

The giant monsters continued to advance without intentionally intervening in the adventurers' attacks.

An attack from the front began as an unstoppable attack continued.

Huge walls surrounding the imperial capital. The cannon on it erupted into flames.

It was only natural that the artillery shells would hit all of them. It's so targeted that it can't be removed. But the attack didn't seem to make much sense either.

The giant monsters remain intact and continue straight ahead.

The Imperial Army also began a massive attack with ritual magic using multiple people, but the biggest attack ever did not appear to be common either.

"I'll have to leave this to Luna now. It's no use what you did."

Abby threw the spoon early.

"What? Can't you do something about it any more?

You can't do this.

"Well, I think we'll figure it out if we step in to some extent,"

The giant monster stopped walking by coming just before the walls.

Notice what you intend to do brought some huge necks heavenly high.

And shake your head down with momentum.

An unprecedented tremor struck the castle, and Luna and Abby rose.

"Hey! What the hell is this!

That was like the first attack a giant monster had ever shown.

Bring your neck, shake it off.

Other necks erupt flames, thunder, and eject thorns.

In an instant, the streets of the imperial capital turned into rubble.

The giant monster resumed his steps as he attacked that way.

What I'm aiming for is still like a castle in the heart of the Empire City.

I mean, there's Abby and Luna on their way here.

"Luna! Just do it!

"It's gonna take a little while to activate, and I need you to come here a little longer..."

Giant monsters approach as they break down the walls and turn the city into ashes.

With all the help of the Imperial Army, it seems to be slowing down its steps somewhat, but situations like water on burning stones.

"Now!"

When Luna activated the purge of the neighborhood, the central part of the giant monster disappeared without sound.

It's about a third the volume of a giant monster that disappeared.

Suddenly, if the middle doesn't disappear, the front and rear parts have to collapse.

The giant monster flooded with blood like a flood and destroyed its giant.

"You did it!

"Ma, that he had no chance of winning when he broke into Empire City."

"Turn off the rest of it."

"Even if they say so. Erases are in blocks, and not so continuously -"

Abby doubted her eyes.

The wreckage of a fallen monster. A beautiful planar cross section bubbled and countless tubes popped out.

The tubes pop out of the front and rear bodies for more alignment and thicker contours. And it attracted and tied a split body.

A monster grows his legs from all over his body and stands up with his body supported.

It roared, swelled, and transformed itself into a further giant.

"Turn it all off now!

"I can't! He's too big, he's sticking out of the block!

"Still do it! That's right! Turn off your head!

"I'll try!

Huge monsters start marching again. Is it because they did it, it was in a state of excitement.

He wields his neck by force, growls, scatters fluids, and zeroes pieces of flesh, while proceeding unnecessarily as best he can to destroy.

Its front disappeared abruptly, and the monster fell again.

I didn't know which one was before, but it disappeared around my neck.

"Hurry up! Turn off the rest!

He said, "I can't hurry! Cool time doesn't get any shorter when you're in a hurry for trying!

Abby and Luna looked out the window in a hurry.

Again, the cross section bubbles and the meat floods out. The lost head instantly regenerated and the giant monster rattled bitterly as if irritating.

"This... there's nothing I can do..."

Luna's face distorts into despair. It was easy to predict the future from here on out.

Luna's abilities can only be used in blocks. Once used, reuse takes time.

This couldn't erase all of the giant monsters.

If you can't erase everything in one go, the rest of it will merge and come back to life. I mean, I don't have a cut.

"No... I don't know if he'll play infinitely, and if you repeat it, you might be able to handle it!

"I'll do it! I don't feel weak!?"

Huge monsters resume their progress.

Luna uses her powers and erases some of them.

The giant monster stops and regenerates and begins walking towards the castle.

It was that repetition.

I'm buying time. But this repetition will be over soon, too. The energy used for regeneration should not be infinite, but from what we can see here, we don't even see any signs of energy depletion.

"No, no, no, no, no."

"We just have to run. Will Joshifumi kill me later, or can I bury you in the rubble here and now? It sounds like you have a chance to bet on Yoshifumi's mercy, though?

"I ran away with a tail wrapped around him because he was so strong. I don't even think Yoshifumi will convince me."

But there's no countermeasure, so I can't help it if I'm hanging around here.

"All right, let's get out of here. Think later!... No, you haven't tried Akira yet"

"This is the situation, and you're not running away?

"No, it's about him, so maybe he's rattling and shaking in the corner. In the meantime, if you can pick it up on the way, I'll pick it up."

Abby and Luna left the room.

This is the upper level of the castle and rooms for the executives are available.

Akira lives here, so she was more than likely in her room if she hadn't run away.

Even as Luna launches an attack, she heads to Akira's room.

As Abby kicked into Akira's room door and leaped in, Akira was standing up in front of the window.

"You're nasty. Coward."

"Hi-no!

Akira turned around and screamed pitifully.

"Hey, what are you going to do here? Look at me. I can't believe you screamed dirty."

"Chi, no, I'm just surprised, nothing..."

"It's a mess!

Abby took Luna's hand and approached Akira.

And I kicked Akira's belly out of the blue.

"What?"

Akira breaks her body and kneels in.

Abby kicked the sitting Akira into rare arrow cod.

Then I heard an unprecedented scream from the outside.

It was a trembling vibration of the castle, and that was the only intense roar that could have killed me if I had been nearby.

"Oh, don't make it work"

"But I think this will only buy me some time, too."

"No, isn't it worth a try? Maybe he won't like it and he'll run away."

Akira's class is cowardly.

The main ability was to impersonate others with half the damage done to them. If attacked, do so to a completely unrelated third party, not to the person who has attacked the damage.

In the present case, if Abby attacks, it will likely damage Luna, but if she holds hands, she will be treated as one with Abby.

And if no one is around Akira, the nearest giant monster will be damaged.

Most importantly, there's no way Abby's damage enough to kick Akira would work for a giant monster. So what is making a giant monster scream?

Painful.

Akira can inflict pain on others as it is. It doesn't matter how pain-resistant that person is, it matters how Akira feels. If Akira feels the pain of death, she can inflict the pain of death on her opponent.

"Ya, stop, stop!

"Because it's useful. Give me a little more time."

Abby grabbed Akira's collar and stood up.

Abby doesn't have the kind of special powers she can use in melee combat, but she beats Akira with simple strength.

"So, what do we do? I don't care if you run."

"Why don't you just fold it off your arm? You can continue to inflict pain."

"No, no, no, no, no! Why are you doing this? Ooh!

"You know what? This country is a big pinch right now. What are you going to do without putting your body up?

"I don't know that! I'm not doing this because I like being an executive or a sage squire! Leave me alone! It's only a moment before I'm in pain! There's no way we can do something like that."

A severe pain ran on Abby's body as soon as possible.

I lost Akira, who was unconscious and grasping back and forth because of so much pain that I didn't know why, but I can't think of anything because of such pain that I don't care.

"... hey, what..."

If you notice, Abby and Luna were down on the floor. It was painful to wander around.

No pain already, but Abby's thoughts didn't come together.

I am free from pain and my thoughts are blank on too much relief.

A little while later, Abby realized that Akira's ability had stripped herself of their fangs.

Someone other than Abby attacked Akira.

"I guess you searched around the world and couldn't find it because it was sealed. I feel terrible about my work."

Abby looked up louder.

A winged boy stood, with Akira's head hanging in his hand.
