The Vice held his jaw, staring at the file on the table: "Even though the Royal Wood family got all these benefits from her, they hid Juliana away in fear of others discovering her ability. But nothing can be hidden forever... Other families got hold of Juliana’s talents and went after her and the family. Due to attacks from all sides, the Royal Wood family lost all their powerful awakened. These families got to Juliana, and tortured her, trying to make her submit, even going to the extent of using a very dangerous drug."

"You don’t mean?" Marianne’s eyes hardened, fully aware of the illegal, mind-shattering drug traded in the darkest corners of the underworld.

"Yes, this drug resulted in her current state, giving her split personalities... Seeing she was useless, they simply tossed her away, and after a month, her family found her back... Without her awesome brain and ability, the Royal Wood family declined dramatically, and went bankrupt." He smiled softly, a bitter acknowledgment of how fast fortunes changed in their brutal society:

"Another part, these three women knows one another, they are as close as sisters. I think because each of them shares the same birthday, but different years. August 22nd is their birthday." He finished his speech, closing the file with a heavy thud that echoed in the quiet office.

Marianne thought for a long while, connecting the invisible threads of tragedy, wealth, and profound trauma. The gears in her mind spun furiously, analyzing the psychological profile of a man who would harbor three such broken, legendary women. And her eyes instantly widen in surprise, she finally found it, she got what she could use on Asher.

"Yes!!"

She stood up, placing her palms on the table, her aura flaring with sudden, predatory excitement: "With what I saw today at the Hotel, Asher values this lady!! Now, you have a new task."

"Which is?" The Vice asked, immediately wary of that dangerous gleam in her eyes.

"Use any way you can think of and give me the names of the families who hurt Juliana, I need a clean investigation!"

"Huh? But Guild Leader, back then, the Royal Wood family are among the top leading family, any family that can overthrown them isn’t some backwater family... Although we are strong, we can’t offend them because of one person." He reasoned anxiously, clashing with her sudden ambition.

In this event, there are clearly more than five families involved, how the fuck can their guild face so many noble families? It would be corporate and physical suicide to declare war on that many elites simultaneously.

"Who says we will be the one fighting them? Asher is a giant, if he gets these people’s names, he alone can deal with them... We will just watch from the sidelines." Marianne said with a smirk, her true, terrifying intellect shining through as she orchestrated a proxy war, and added, pointing a finger at the file:

"Our only job is to help him locate these people, and have evidence... If you can get these things, leave the rest to me. Besides, I hate all those arrogant people who think because they’re in noble families they rule the world."

The Vice Guild Leader sighed. He knew that look. Once Marianne locked onto a target, she never let go. If he couldn’t understand his close friend, no one in this world will, so he simply nodded his head:

"I will get it done." He said, and walked out of the office, ready to dive into the dangerous political underbelly of the city, while Marianne walked towards the window, staring at the city below:

"I have a feeling what happened in the outskirts might be related to this guy, Asher, what do you know?"

[Silverspire Sky Hill Estate Company.]

"Why are we all standing here by the door?" A sales lady in a black suit asked her colleague, who stood beside her, a small frown on her face. The blistering midday sun was beating down on them, ruining her carefully applied makeup.

Her colleague moved her gaze on the other salesmen and women, who were lined up in two lines in front of the entrance like royal guards waiting for an emperor, and exhaled softly:

"Do you know about the number one Villa in sky Hill?"

"Of course, who doesn’t know about it? It has a garden, huge private swimming pools, a game lounge, theater, twenty bedrooms, and 50,000 square feet! That’s the biggest Estate in the whole Silverspire." She said with awe, her eyes shining bright with the sheer, intoxicating allure of unattainable wealth.

"Yup, that five hundred billion mega-mansion was bought by someone today, and he’s coming to inspect it, well, that’s what the Owner said."

".....!!!"

The sales lady was stunned speechless: "That, money alone can’t get you that house. This person must have a frightening background." She said in shock. Power in Vaeloria wasn’t just about cash; it required profound political backing to secure the absolute highest tier of real estate.

"That’s why the whole staff are here to welcome him, to see such a person is also a blessing." The second answered, fixing her posture.

’Wow! If I can get into this big shot’s bed, I am set for life, even if I become a mistress, I won’t mind.’ The sales lady thought, biting her thumbnail, completely willing to trade her dignity for a fraction of that cosmic wealth.

VOOM!

"...?!"

They all snapped their heads to the side, seeing a black Lamborghini coming to a stop before the entrance, its engine roaring like a caged beast.

"Wow, that car must be expensive!!" She exclaimed in a low voice, staring at the young man who got down from the car, followed by another, both twins. Their sheer arrogance radiated off them in waves.

"Wow!! Those are the Twin brothers, they’re both S-Rank awakened!" Someone exclaimed, staring at the two blonde hair young men in designer outfits, recognizing the infamous prodigies of a top-tier noble family.

Seeing the lineup, one paused, and turned to his brother: "Bro, are they waiting for us?" He asked, his ego naturally assuming the grand reception was for them.

The second stared at the staffs, who were also staring at them, their eyes filled with uncertainty. He blinked, completely misreading the room, and shrugged:

"I have no idea, Dad has saved up till this moment for the number one Villa in sky Hill... We are here to buy it. We don’t have time to waste." He said, walking towards the entrance with the absolute certainty of a man who had never been denied anything in his life.

"Huh, then why did they line up here--"

VOOOM!

Everyone paused, the deep, rattling sputter of a struggling engine completely shattering the high-class atmosphere, turning their heads to the patched-up SUV parked behind their Lamborghini.

"Huh? Isn’t that?"

The two brothers were stunned, seeing the one in the car.
