Chapter 757 Apology
Hearing this voice, the mysterious man immediately stopped his movements. Xiao Xiao’s attention was also drawn to this man.
He was over 1.8 meters tall and dressed in a black Long Robe. He held a folding fan and was incredibly handsome, with an elegant demeanor. He looked just like the young master of some prominent family.
"A-san, how could you treat my guest like this? I saw you make your move just now. Apologize to this young lady at once!" the man said, waving at his guard.
The mysterious man immediately walked over to Xiao Xiao and bowed low. "I’m sorry, Miss. I have offended you."
Xiao Xiao frowned at him. "You were about to kill me. Do you think a simple apology can resolve everything?"
Although Xiao Xiao didn’t know their identities, she could tell from their attire that they must hold some status within the Xue Family. What gave them the right to attack me for no reason? After all, I’m still a guest of the Xue Family!
The man seemed to realize that just having his guard apologize was inappropriate. He slowly walked up to Xiao Xiao. "Young lady, this man is named A-san. He is my guard. Hearing this, Xiao Xiao glanced warily at the mysterious man behind him. She couldn’t gauge the strength of the man before her, but she was certainly very cautious of the guard behind him. Xiao Xiao watched his performance, a chill running down her spine. She wanted to refuse but didn’t know how to say it.

Looking at the mysterious man who remained standing motionless in his spot, Xiao Xiao swallowed hard and followed.
Soon, she followed him into an enormous, luxuriously decorated courtyard. It contained rockeries and ponds, a complete contrast to the scenery outside. However, despite its size, there were only one or two servants present, both dressed in the attire of Xue Family servants.
"A-san, go prepare a cup of tea for the young lady," the man instructed as he led Xiao Xiao to a pavilion in the courtyard.

But the man just smiled and waved it off. "No worries, Little Girl Xiaoxiao. If my man hadn’t frightened you, you wouldn’t have been in such a rush."
Hearing him call her Little Girl Xiaoxiao, she quickly asked, "Do you know me?"
"Hahaha, how could I not? Little Girl Xiaoxiao is so beautiful. Countless men are captivated by you." The man’s praise helped her relax a little.

At that moment, A-san walked over with a pot of tea. His severed arm was now bandaged. He poured tea for both of them.
